*he groaned as he followed Brock down another aisle full of ribbons and lace* Dude, I should NOT be in here. I definitely do NOT want to see what you're buying your damn mate if it's anything from this store. Definitely more information than I needed to know about my aunt! Pick your kinky ass shit and let's go. That damn sales clerk has been making eyes at me and he is starting to make me uncomfortable.

Brock Breed *grinning* I thought you might want to pick up something for you mom or sis! *holding up a very sheer pair of panties in pink lace* Hey, don't you think Kade would look good in these? Would go great with his pink yoga pants, don't you think? *Getting the stink eye from Aric, I make my final selections for Jenna* Ok, ok! Let's have your boyfriend wanna-be check us out and blow this place. Oh wait... maybe that wasn't the right word to use. *snickering, I place my selections on the counter and get out my wallet*

Aric Chase Brock, you're an asshole! *he grins and heads for the front. Glancing up he sees the clerks smile increase the closer they get* oh hell no bro. I'll meet you outside. And Brock, so help me, if you even THINK about giving him my number I will kill you. Understood? * He glares at Brock one more time before heading out the front door, waving and saying Merry Christmas to all the clerks on his way by*

Brock Breed *grinning as Aric leaves, I pay for my purchase, and head outside, grinning as I see Aric waiting for me.* He gave me his number to give you, man! *laughing at the expression on Aric's face* Ok - I'm just kidding. *As we walk to the parking lot to get our car, I'm ever vigilant for signs that there are rogues around or that other things aren't quite right. I see an older car that's seen better days parked towards the back of the lot by a light post. There's two adults inside and some children in the back, huddled together. It looks like Mom is passing them a blanket or some such thing.* Aric, do you see that? Think we should check it out? Maybe they need some help.

Aric Chase *i spot the car in question quickly and we drop Brocks kinks in the SUV before making our way slowly across the lot. The three kids were wrapped up snug in the back seat while the parents were trying to huddle together to conserve heat. Brock knocked softly on the window and motioned for the male to get out of the vehicle. As he speaks with Brock the sad picture becomes more clear. An idea hatches in his head and he motions to Brock that he will be right back. Brock continues to speak with the father as he heads down the walkway to another store they passed on the way*

Brock Breed *Talking to the father, I learn that he lost his job and the family is homeless and living out of their car. Dad has another job lined up, but it doesn't start till a couple of weeks into the New Year, so they have at least a month staying in the car. They have enough cash to put another tank of gas in, and that's about all. They've been dumpster diving at local restaurants to get food that has been thrown out to eat. Aric lets me know he'll be right back. I have an idea what he might be doing. When he returns, I'll tell him I have an idea of my own. As Dad gets back into the car for warmth, I notice that he has obviously given his coat to the children to use to try to keep warm in the frigid night.*

Aric Chase *he drops the bags into the SUV and goes to talk with Brock. After hearing the rest of the story he feels even worse for the small family.* So, let's do this. We can help them. Let's give a call to that hotel a couple of blocks away, see if they have anything available. As Brock pulls out his phone Aric pulls the SUV to the end of the lot next to their car and turns the heat up full blast. Brock is off the phone and talking with the father again by the time he gets out of the vehicle* Ready bro?

Brock Breed Born ready dude! I've called the hotel, they have a 2 bedroom suite available that has kitchen facilities. I paid for a month's stay in advance. That should cover them till he starts work. They have a concierge service that will go out and do grocery shopping. I gave them a list, and they will stock the kitchen and put it on my tab, with orders to continue to do that as long as the family stays there. So, what were you up to?

Aric Chase *he grins proudly at his friend* You are awesome bro. I just decided that the kids needed a little something to bring a smile to their faces. It isn't going to be much but it's something. Between the room, the food, and the toys I grabbed they should be good to go. Let's get them kids snug in a warm bed, huh? *he piles into the driver seat while Brock makes his way around the car. As Brock is getting situated they pull out of the parking lot in the direction of the hotel. * can you even imagine trying to keep three little kids entertained in a car? Holy hell, I'd go batshit crazy! I've got a couple of C notes I'm going to leave with them for gas money and incidentals. I didn't bother with clothes or anything since I couldn't see much of the kiddos and didn't want to scare them too badly with this ugly mug. But maybe Mom or Dad can pick up something they need.* They pull up in front of the hotel and park as the father pulls in right next to them. They stare, bewildered, at the hotel, unsure of their luck* don't worry, you're safer here than in that car of yours. If you want to grab these bags, I can get the kids upstairs if you want.

Brock Breed *Taking Mom and Dad aside as Aric ushers the kids inside where it's warm* We've paid for you to stay here for the next month. The suite has a kitchen in it, and it's been arranged for the concierge service to keep it stocked for you. Let them know if there's anything in particular you want or need. It's been taken care of. *As the parents look at me bewildered, I smile at them. Bending over to grab some of the packages, they see my glyphs and it dawns on them just what we are. Turning to them, I reassure them.* No worries. Both of us love kids and have none of our own. We just wanted to help, seeing as how it's Christmas time. We're also leaving you with money for gas and incidentals. * As Dad begins to protest, I hold up my hand to stop him* Please - you don't have to repay this. We wanted to help. If you're ever in a position where you can pay it forward, it would please us if you could do that. Ready to see your new home for the next few weeks? *Gathering all the packages, we head inside.*

Aric Chase *the kids giggled as he let the oldest two of them climb onto his back before he swung the third one up into his arms and started into the hotel as Brock explained things to the parents. They got checked in and headed to the suite quickly. Opening the door, he put the kids down and let them run in ahead while he held the door for everyone else. The second Brock put the bags down the kids tore into them. We turned to the parents, who both had tears in their eyes* You're family is beautiful. Please, take care of yourselves and those kids. There are horrors in this world that you can't imagine. *he shook hands with the parents as Brock spoke with the children then he said his goodbyes to each of the children. As he got to the youngest she she crooked her finger at him to come closer. He squatted down so he was eye to eye with her and she launched herself into his arms. He quickly caught her and gave her a hug* Thank you little one. May you and your family have a very Merry Christmas. Now be good for Mom and Dad because we all know Santa is watching. *she kissed his cheek and said in her little girl voice " You two are my angels. I was cold in that car and it smells funny. Thank you for saving us" He grinned at her and looked at the formidable Breed standing by the door* baby girl, we are definitely not angels but thank you. We just don't like to see people suffer needlessly. You take care of your family now, ok? * He stood and joined Brock at the door.* y'all take care now and stay safe. May peace be with you always.
*he and Brock headed back to the SUV and he couldn't help but feel accomplished. One more family, 3 small children, off the streets. It's not much but it meant the world to that family*

*Shaking his head at the granny panty tree that Kade and Brock had possibly set us up with. Taking the tree down, they began to decorate the bachelor pad like it should be done. Elijah, have you ever dated or taken any panties like this? *Holding up a pair of cotton briefs, laughing at the look on Eli's face.* I prefer commando with a skirt, nothing gets in my way!.
*Pulling the fresh cut tree into the room, they began to set it up for the decorating with ornaments that they bought. Turning to show Eli the other tree that he had been working on* This is suspended from trip wire and hung from the ceiling. Figured we needed to have a few ideas for trees.

*Placing the garland on the tree they talked about things that had been going on.*

Elijah Breed *Grinning wide at the thought of the cursed granny panty tree* You know, that was a low blow... Damaging our reputation as "work hard, party harder" bona fide Breed bachelors was real low. However, we will set things out the way they are supposed to be. As for your question... I would freak out if a girl I was about to be with would wear that kind of lingerie! *smh* It must be a generational thing, Elders are kinda old... Julian Webb *Shaking his head at Eli's shirt, laughing* That is really cool bro, I went out and ordered these for our tree. *Hanging the silver grenade ornaments, then picking up more of the decor that they had picked out to redo the tree. * We really need to go to town soon, I am late on feeding and need a little relaxation therapy as well *Thinking about Gretta the last woman that donated to him* Gretta was hot as hell, I think her little sister was the one that gave you that shirt bro.

Elijah Breed *Eyes wide* Grenade ornaments? Sweet! I bet Nico will salivate when he sees that...! I bought some ornaments too, thinking of our esteemed colleagues and how they have behaved through the year. Let's see... rummages through a shopping bag* What do you think?

Julian Webb *Turning to invite in the surprise person for Eli.* Well hello Miss Santa, I think we have gotten a little more sexy in the years since I was visited by Santa. *Two women walked in the room, they were dressed in sexy Santa suits.* They have came to visit us Eli and allow us to have a little fun as well.

*I placed the cookies on the tray then poured the last two cups of cocoa, making sure to add the whipped cream to Renata's. I picked up the tray and headed to the living room and was glad everyone was there. Smiling I walked in ready to place the tray by Renata as she asked.* Please tell me you remembered the whipped cream?

Renata Breed ~giggling I moan as I sip the hot cocoa~ Savy you make the bestest cocoa in the world...~giggling again I sit back and nibble on a cookie as I rest the cup on my large tummy~ so the tree is trimmed, most of the package wrapped, is there anything left that we might have to do before Christmas?

Mira Nicholas-Archer *taking one of the mugs and wrapping my hands around its warmth* I haven't bought any Christmas presents yet. *taking a sip* Lucan's been keeping us busy. *grabbing a star cookie and biting off one of the points*

Elise Chase *Taking her cup, she took a slow sip of the hot yummy goodness that was Savannah's cocoa and settled deeper into the chaise.* can't believe how many Christmases we've been together now. I'm no where near done as I usually am. And I truly can't blame Lucan for me not being ready.

Savannah Dupree *I took a seat by the fire, a cookie in one hand, my mug in the other.* I'm not ready either. With so many charities to give too I haven't had time to shop for family. *I looked at the ladies and smiled.* Yes we have been together for a long time.

Renata Breed ~chuckling again I smile wide~ a very long time, I feel like sometimes I can't remember a time when you were not my sisters. So Elise what is your favorite memory of one of our past Christmas'? For many of them revolve around Mira and Niko ~smiling softly thinking about my mate~

Mira Nicholas-Archer I don't know about you guys, but I will never forget when I was babysitting the boys and they decided that it would be a fabulous idea to go pee in the snow. *laughing as I take a sip* That was unfortunately when I found out that breeds peed red. Elise Chase *Laughing at Mira, she took a cookie thinking back to some of her favorite Christmas memories. The best ones always seemed to include Micah. Which reminded her of one particular incident.* Do you guys remember the time when the kids all gave their dads early surprise prank gifts? I thought Lucan was going to pull his hair out if he found one more cricket in his office. And Tegan's files all paperclipped together. You know how much he detests paperwork anyway. Then Gid's room smelled like sulfur for weeks. But my favorite was T and Micah getting matching snowmobiles.

Savannah Dupree *All the memories fun ones and I laughed as they told them.* I'm just glad we don't have to clean up after them anymore. I hated to see my clean kitchen after one of their pranks.

Renata Breed ~snorts~ I remember one that was pulled on Niko, and Mira spear headed it..~gives her a mock glare~ Kellan, Mira, and Nathan all decided to help Niko with loading of some bullets, they forgot to put the powder in some and the firing cap in others, and not to mention that Niko had kept finding tray bullets everywhere in the range. I think he made them clean all the guns for the whole order for two weeks...~chuckling as I nibble on another cookie~

Mira Nicholas-Archer Oh man, I remember that. *laughing* Dad was so pissed off. *taking another bite of my cookie and sip of my cocoa* Do you guys remember when Gideon filled in for Lucan as Santa? And he spoke to all of us like Yoda?

Elise Chase *Shaking her head, she couldn't stop laughing at all the memories.* Even through the dark years, we rallied around for Christmas. It's always amazed me. But at the heart of it all was Savannah's cooking and treats. Wouldn't be the same without it. *She smiled at Savvy as she collected the cups and headed toward the kitchen.* I think it might be time to go find my mate. What do you ladies think?

Renata Breed ~giggling I shake my head~ we have had many great years together and I have loved every minute of them and I pray for many more...~handing over my cup to Savvy I move to the edge of my chair and hoist myself up, hugging each of the girls I slowly move towards the stairs, my lower back hurting I plan what final gifts I need to get~

*squeezing Kellan's hand as we walk down the hall toward gigantically fantastic Christmas tree that Niko and Kellan set up last month* It's about time our schedules cleared up, I've been waiting to decorate this tree for what feels like a lifetime. *turning the corner, I spot both of my parents waiting for us...my dad looking increasingly impatient at our tardiness and my mom nomming on chocolate covered pickles.* Really, Rennie?!

Kellan Archer *he chuckles at her comment to Renata* Not helping babe. *he squeezes her hand quickly before hugging Renata and shaking hands with Niko* Good evening. I see you've been busy gathering everything. *he looks at the mountain of boxes stacked in a far corner*

Niko Breed *He raises one eye brow at the question,* Do you not know we're dealing with son? My girls don't half ass something. They give it their all, and they don't cheat either. Like say using a chain saw to cut a tree down. *Renata shushes me to be quiet.*

Renata Breed ~winking at Mira over the pickle I place my hand on Niko's arm when he talks down to Kellan~ baby...actually Kellan this is only the decorations for the tree, the rest of the house has it's own boxes and they will be coming up in the next few days ~smiling wide at the frown on his face~ oh it will be fun, since you are off patrol for the next week on vaca you, me and Mira will have tons of fun decorating the whole house ~waving my hand towards the entry way and beyond, i move towards the first box and start to open them~ come on family lets get started...

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Giggling at the look on Kellan's face* Yeah, I may have neglected to tell you that tiny little detail. *leaning up to whisper into his ear* Don't worry, I'll make it worth your while... *wrapping my arm around his and pulling him toward the giant spool of christmas ribbon* Let's start with this.

Kellan Archer *he pinched her butt as she dragged him into complete chaos. He groaned as she grabbed the ribbon and rubbed his hands over his face* Yes Dear. *he smiled and followed her*

Niko Breed *Each one of them grabs a box except Rennie. He wont let her lift anything heavy. He tells her she is to direct them. Tell them where she wants things to be placed. He's about to agree with Kellan that there's a little too much. Maybe the boy has a point, but he wasn't going to let him know that. He sees the way he looks at Mouse and it warms his heart to know that he has her back. His mouse deserves to be loved like that. He turns to Rennie*OK baby what else would you like? Kellan can you put up the lighted garland along the doorways?

Renata Breed ~smiling I turn on the christmas music and wiggle as I point to where I want each ball and garland, I pick up one of the first ornaments that Mira had made, I wipe away a happy tear before anyone can see me~ Mouse hang this one to the right of the Santa...~turning I see Kellan stretching to place one of the mini trees over the window~ that looks perfect Kell

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Smiling as I take the hand print ornament and place it carefully on the tree* I hope you guys are going to make another one for my baby brother. *pulling the next ornament out of the box, a gummy bear, and placing it on the tree* You know what ornament we need to get for him? *laughing* A pickle.

Kellan Archer *he chuckled as he finished placing the decorations around the main room as directed. Mira and Niko had the tree just about done, at least in his opinion it looked done* anything else? *he asked as he looked at the pipes of empty boxes everywhere*

Niko Breed *Slapping Kellan on the back he stands back to take in everything. My woman knew how to decorate.* Job well done son. Just think you have this to look forward to every year. *He laughs as he hears him mumble under his breath.* Great job everyone. It all looks awesome.

Renata Breed ~fighting back a yawn I smile wide at everyone, so happy that we could do this all as a family, moving towards Niko I lean against him~ perfect baby, this just gets better every year, just think our little one will be with us next year...~smiling up at him I lean up and kiss him softly~ thank you my Mouse and Kell, its is perfect ~giggling as Niko sweeps me off my feet and moves towards the door~ just think tomorrow we can do the entry way and then move on to the dinning room...
