{Atlanteans} Dia Calls a Meeting

Dia:*Sitting at my desk, mulling over the still shots from the security video. I read the report. A positive ID had been made and there was no doubt that the intruders were part of Lucan's Order. Aine Declain had reported that nothing was damaged or stolen. So the question remained, why are they interested in that store. I had called a meeting with Satora and Meison hoping to get some answer. Satora had already called to let me know she was on her way. But I had yet to hear from my business partner. Drumming my fingers on the desk my lips tighten across my teeth in anger that the male would stand me up again. Fuck I was tired of carrying the load by myself and him reaping the benefits. Hearing the click of the door I look up as Satora enters the room* Where the hell is Meison?

Satora: ~Quirking a brow, I quietly walk in and take a seat before addressing Dia.~ I have no idea. Is he now under my protection? Perhaps I should assign an active detail to him. ~Hearing soft footfalls down the hall, I assume it is our guest.~ I do believe I hear him now but he moves quietly for a male of his size.

Meison: *Strolling calmly into the meeting, I knock softly on the door and make my presence known* A pleasure to see you both again *Bowing, I kiss Satora's knuckles briefly before pulling out a seat for her. Smiling, I studiously ignore the furious breathing and glares from Diabolus* I hope I'm not too late?

Dia: *Growls* NO for once you are on time. *Pushing the photos toward Meison and Satora* Ladies we have a security issue And Meison it seems to be centered around your daughters store. Do you happen to know why?

Satora: ~I pushed my chair at an angle to better observe Mr. Declain. I knew what the pictures showed since I had taken it all in personally.~ It appears nothing was stolen, they were here for information. What I need to know is what can your store give them?

Meison: It is not my store. The store belongs to my daughter Aine, and it is a dedication to my late wife Elizabeth *Folding my hands under my chin, I watch the two of them communicate with their body language* We're selling antiques. Or do you know more about the items than we do?

Dia: *Stands and pace* I have no interest about the worthless junk she sells. Perhaps it was that ridiculous name she chose that attracted the attention of the Order.

Satora: ~Glancing up at Dia, I resisted the urge to cover my own teardrop and moon mark. My skin prickled around this male and his daughter but I could not pick up on any latent talents. I allowed my gaze to focus on Meison.~ What is your reasoning why her store was broken into while the others were left undisturbed?

Meison: The Order has no reason to be interested in me. I take it you two have met the warriors in these pictures before? *Digging in the pockets of my coat, I slide some files across the table to the two of them* You, Mr. Rivera, are the reason for all this. It all comes back to you and your several run ins in the past with them. I am merely associated with you at the moment and you owe me compensation for that

Dia: *Snorts as I look over the pictures* My run ins with The Order is nothing new, Meison. I know them from my days with Dragos. And I'm sure Lucan Thorne were pissed when his computer geek, Gideon was unable to stop me from claiming my share of my former employers estate. *Glares at my Business partner* You have your own security? Why the hell didn't you tell me about this earlier?

Satora: ~Looking between the two males, this discussion didn't really include me. Meison was a dead end for information as far as I was concerned. I had suspected the Declain family had their own security detail. Standing, I walked over to the windows looking out to the area below going over the information I had memorized. Perhaps the female would provide more. Still listening to the conversation behind me,my focus changed and my fists tightened, eager to get back to my own personal goal.~

Meison: Of course I have my own security. I need to protect my daughter and her investments. Don't you have personals to protect? *Scoffing* Why must everything turn into a disagreement? We must work together if we are to make this place as grand as we want it to be.

Dia:  *Shrugs* You obviously have never worked with Breed. We tend to be a bit aggressive. But putting that aside, it looks like you didn't trust me either, other wise you would not have your own security. *Waves hand and stands by Satora* Point is PAAARTner, we have a problem. And YOUR daughter's store has come to the attention of the Order. So I suggest you and your lil filly come up with some suggestions on why. Sabe?

Satora:  ~I kept a calm expression on my face as I listened to their banter.~ Anything you come up with could prevent this from happening again. We would prefer the Order not to hang around our establishment. Although they do provide interesting entertainment. ~flashing my fangs as I remembered throwing my blade and hitting the mark~

Meison: I will discuss with Aine and get back to you on that issue. If that will be all, I may take my leave? *Rising to my feet and brushing my coat*

Dia: *Snarls as I squint my eyes at the male* YOU have a talk with your offspring. Perhaps between the two of you, you will come up with something useful. In the mean time, there will be added security around her shop.

Satora:  ~Watching as Meison leaves the room, his gait was unhurried. That male intrigued me but it would be another day when I figured out his puzzle. I turned to Dia and nodded, letting him know the security would be taken care of. I walked to the door and opened it noticing the empty hall.~ I'll have those additions made immediately and will notify you of the results. We need to discuss the opening soon. Everything is ready. ~He nodded, and I took my leave of his office, already contemplating who would be used for the new assignments. I needed more recruits.~
