Dylan Alexander February 28
For the past week I
had been working on different searches, trying to find out what SOL stood for.
Who was the owner of the shell company. I was sure the names I'd gotten so far
were aliases or minions, not the Breed behind it. Rio had been busy running down
leads at night. He hadn't been able to get anything solid so far either.
Leaving the library needing a break and deciding to get some fresh air. Stepping outside I was glad to see the heater was on and then see Tavia sitting there. Maybe she'd have some ideas as to where to search.
"I sis. How are you this afternoon?"

Tavia
Chase *Looking up at Dylan* I am doing good, I was just
taking a break from answering questions and answers. How are you today?
*Sitting back and handing Dylan a cup of hot chocolate* To be honest, I get
irritated with some of the humans that want interviews, they tend to ask the
dumbest questions. You would think after twenty years they would have gotten
use to us. Although I am sure every society has their issues with the unique
people. *winks* What's up with you?
Dylan Alexander "I'm sure there
are more myths out there than we realize and as you know some people believe
what they want no matter what. I have noticed that more humans are sheep in a
sense than free thinkers. They find a leader and follow along blindly." Taking
the hot chocolate, "Thanks. I was wondering if you might be able to help
me with something I have been working on for Rio. I keep coming up with nothing
solid and I'm thinking maybe its the terms I'm using when I search."
Tavia
Chase *Turning to peer at Dylan* What would that be sis? I would be happy to help in anyway possible. What are you searching for and what terminology are you using to do the searches? *Sipping my hot chocolate, I sit back waiting for the answers I needed to help Dylan and Rio*
Dylan Alexander Sighing softly, my
frustration coming through. "I have been trying to find any I can on the
lab that made the UV bullets Rio found a few months ago, but I keep coming up
empty. Maybe I'm just not thinking how the enemy would. How they would list something
or write it. Or what names they might use. I wonder if we have a list of
aliases somewhere." Settling into the chair next to her sister. "Do
you have ideas?"
Tavia
Chase *Running scenarios through my head, thinking of things through out the years* UV bullets, those would almost be like the UV collars that Dragos used to control his Hunters back in the day. It would not be him because he is long gone from this world, but it could be a group of humans that work underground on a secret mission to end Breeds. There have been a few of those over the years, that hired scientist to make weapons, to harm the breed. I know of a old warehouse about five miles from here that use to house the meetings for those people. We could go check it out, maybe they left some information, or something that we could work on. The place is abandoned and safe for us to go to
Dylan Alexander Raising an eyebrow, "That might be a good starting place. The names I have been getting on most of the property records are all standard human names. I'm thinking that they are aliases, but what if they aren't and it is a human group. That could give this an entirely different pretense and I need to change my approach."
Tavia
Chase The human group used several aliases and anagrams
when they did things. *Grabbing my keys and purse, we head toward the garage*
Let's go check it out, it wouldn't hurt to check things out. *Flipping on the
GPS tracker* You know we can't leave home without this. *winks and pulls out of
the compound heading toward the abandoned warehouse*
Dylan Alexander Shoving my cell in my jean pocket with my id, I follow her. Place a tracker in my coat pocket. In the garage we get into the car and Tavia pulls out. "If they left anything behind with names on it or the group name, it would be great. They are good at hiding things, whoever owns this lab. They have it under a shell company name and I feel I'm failing with not getting much on them." The sun was high, but the sun was deceptive it was still cold out.
Tavia
Chase *Arriving at the building I head around to the back
of it and up the back stairs. Walking into the main room of the warehouse, I
scan the room, looking for any traps, info, or anything out of the unusual.
Spotting something across the room that looks a little off, making our way over
there, I began to study the wall* Tricky tricky, there is a door here. *Running
my fingertips along the border of it, following the pattern, as a door slides
open* Stay back a minute, let me look around the room for surveillance.
*Running in at breed speed, merely a blur* Okay it is clear I don't see any
cameras. *Studying the files in a drawer* I think we found something.
Dylan Alexander As we entered the building, I watched Tavia check it. The way the Breed moves still amazes me after all this time. Going over to the file cabinet and looking through some files, I see some names that were in the searches I'd already done; but nothing new. "So far all there names are ones I've already come across."
Tavia
Chase *Tapping my chin* I think we may be onto something
though. Why go through the trouble of hiding this stuff in a room? *Scanning
the room again, I find a few new files. Hearing a noise, I peek out the broken
window of the room, seeing a few men, coming into the front of the building*
Sis.. we have company, we need to go now. *Grabbing the drives in the drawer,
shoving them in my purse* We can take these with us, return them later,
hopefully they will not notice them gone. Flaring out my senses, I hear them coming
up the stairs* We need to go that way. *closing the door, I grab Dylan's hand
running quickly to the fire escape exit*
Dylan Alexander It was all so quick that it hadn't completely registered yet that Tavia had the drives, but when the cold air hit me my mind processed she had the drives. I had almost pulled back to grab them, out on the fire escape I quietly climb down behind her and we move quickly to the car hidden on a side drive behind some trees. Once inside, "Did you see them? To bad we didn't have time to snap a photo or two of the men. Gideon could have
ran them through his software."
Tavia
Chase *shaking my head* No I just wanted to get us out of
there as quickly, you know Sterling and Rio would tie us up and never let us out again if anything happened to either of us. *winks* Maybe that we know there is someone using that warehouse again, some of the guys could do a recon and place cameras. I seriously doubt Lucan would want us going back, because we don't know who or how dangerous those men are. *pulling out and driving toward the compound, taking a cleansing breath* that was scary, I am glad I heard them coming up the stairs when I did.
Dylan Alexander As we pulled back
into the compound, I knew she was right. If something had happened we'd be
locked up. Of course that wouldn't be so bad to be locked up with Rio, but he had once threatened to make me clean
as a punishment and that wasn't an option. Smiling at the thought, "Yeah
they would lock us away, but it is good to know that someone is back
there." Pulling into the garage and hugging Tavia when we got out.
"Well at least I know another direction to search. Thanks sis." We
headed inside to get the drives to Gideon.
