Dylan Alexander with Aric Chase.
Dylan had gotten to the garage early. She had been excited since she heard she was heading to meet up with Rio. Her bags had been packed for days and she had taken them to the garage about an hour before she was to meet Aric.
Magazine in her hands, she sat on the luggage as the young warrior emerged through the doors. He saw her and the bags and she smiled at him. "Believe me. I packed light."

Aric Chase Oiy! I bet. *he shook his head and chuckled as he quickly loaded up the luggage and hopped into the drivers seat. Seeing that Dylan was safely buckled, he pulled out of the fleet garage heading for the private airstrip where the Order kept their jet. As he drove they chatted amiably as the sun warmed the air* the Jet is ready, pilots have already filed the proper paperwork on both sides for an uneventful flight, hopefully. Is there anything you need still for the flight or your visit? We have time to stop if needed.
Dylan Alexander *Quickly
she ran through her list in her head. Mags, check. Gum, check. Then
what was in her bags.* I'm good as long as they have hot chocolate on
the plane. I have everything. *She grinned as she thought about his
reaction when he saw her luggage and what must go through a guy's mind.*
So will you be staying in Toronto or returning here after you deliver
me to Rio?
Aric Chase I
have a bit of a layover up there before I return. This time of year,
with the nearly constant darkness, it would be good to be able to check
out the city. I've heard a lot about it. Some good, some not so good. *
He said as he thought of where Renata and Mira were once upon a time. He was around Niko
enough to get a pretty clear picture of what happened back then.
Turning into a parking garage he quickly parked. * Ready to catch some
air, Auntie? *He says with a grin* I will grab your "few things" that
you packed after I escort you inside. I will need to get a cart, or
maybe a 6 wheeler thing. Maybe I should just find a forklift and save
some trouble. Did you leave ANYTHING behind? *He ribbed as they walked
across the lot and into the building*
Dylan Alexander Haha. Trying to be a comedian today. Rio and Niko
would be proud. * She winked at him.* And I, by the way left quite a
bit behind. *She had noticed that sullen look in his eyes and could
only wonder what he had been thinking about, but she was sure it had to do with Mira and Renata.
After grabbing her bag she strolled inside with him and then watched
him retrieve her bags with his one. When he joined her again the bags
had been turned over to the crew to load. * Let's get this show in the
air. *She took his arm and they walked to the platform to board the
plane.*
Aric Chase *they
settled in while the pilots went through their process and were quickly
in the air. He pulled out his phone to read for a while, finally able
to fully relax now that they were safely in the air. He enjoyed the
special assignments that only he, as a
day-walker, could perform. It gave him a very distinct edge as a Breed
and especially as a warrior. The time passed quickly and before I knew
it the pilot was announcing his planned descent into yet another private
airfield* Nice and easy, exactly how I enjoy my flights.
Dylan Alexander *The
flight had been nice and uneventfully, no turbulence and while Aric had
read Dylan had been lost in her thoughts. Some about Rio and some
about Renata as well as the mini Niko that should be here soon.* Same here. Now lets get to the compound. * It had been longer then she liked being apart from Rio.
The bags were loaded into a black SUV and they were on there way.
Aric was driving slower then Dylan would have, but then again he was in
charge of getting her there safely.*
