Compound: Alex and the dogs

*Heading out toward the back of the compound I see the dogs running around with Blake. I picked him up when Nathan came in from patrol last night so that he could get some rest. The dogs were antsy to get out so I let them out into the yard and joined them soon after spending an early breakfast with Kade. While I ate he watched me, I blush and start feeling giddy inside. He grabs me, not wanting to let go, telling me how much he loves me. After finishing my food, I kiss his lips telling him he needs to sleep and I'll be outside with the dogs. Disappointed that I’m not staying with him, I laugh promising to return before he awakes.

Jax was excited when he saw me come out, he barked and ran towards me. I kneeled down to hug him and ran out into the yard where Bella and Blade were playing. I had a couple of balls in my pocket, I threw them as far as possible for them to catch and return to me. I laughed watching them when I heard laughter coming from the trees. Tossing the ball to Blade I tried to see who was out here with us. I chuckled because there aren't many that can come out on a sunny day like today. Knowing my sisters they are still snuggled up with their mates. I looked, shouted and ran towards where I heard the sound* Aric! Is that you? *I didn't hear anything. The dogs run and bark into the trees. Nothing. Strange. I called for the dogs and we continued our morning playing ball*

March 25   

*standing in front of Nathan's door, she knocks and waits for him to answer. Hearing Blade barking on the other side of the door, Jax and Bella bark too* {Calm down, boy, I got it} * she hears her nephew's voice and laughs. He opens the door, greeting her with a smile* {Hey, Alex} *Blade runs out the door into the hallway. The dogs start to circle each other and barking up a storm. She looks up at Nathan, laughs then gives him a hug* Hi, Nate, they act like they haven't seen each other all day. When it was just this morning, we all went for a walk *shaking her head* {Maybe we should bring them inside before....} *the dogs take off down the hallway before he finishes} I don't think so, looks like they have other plans *she grins* {Yea, seems that way. Here, let me lock up and we can catch up with them} *he enters his quarters to retrieve his jacket, locks the door and we start walking towards the front of the compound* {Alex, what was the reason for you coming by?} *he asks* ah, just wanted to stop by to see how you were doing. It was quite early when I came by to get Blade this morning, thought maybe you wanted to talk or something *he nods his head* Hey, look at them *she points at the dogs, looking back at them waiting for one of us to open the front door*

Status: Bella talks with Kade

Alexandra Maguire  March 16  *Bella waits patiently at the door for Kade to walk through. She lies on her front paws with her head down. Knowing he will be coming in soon, she gets up to check on Alex and returns to lie near the door. Hearing the sound of heavy footsteps coming down the corridor, keys inserting the lock and the door opening, she rises to greet him. Closing the door behind him, he kneels down to scratch behind her ear. Using his ability telepathically to connect with her, he asks if everything was ok. Through their connection, Bella tells him his mate misses him and hopes he has a night or two off soon. He chuckles and assures her that he promises to make it up to his breedmate. Placing a paw on his shoulder, she barks. He nods. Bella walks away; Kade enters the bedroom, stands in the doorway and stares at his mate as she slept. Quietly, removing his fatigues and armory, he showers and gets into bed. Spooning his lovely mate against him, he softly kisses behind her ear. Stirring, she smiles* {Shhh, Baby girl, sleep}

*Opening the doors to the balcony, she walks out into the night cool air wrapping herself in a sweater. She looks up just as a shooting star streaks through the sky. She closes her eyes, wishing upon it when she feels something wet touch her hand. Looking down, she smiles at Blade and pets his head. She had taken him, Jax and Bella for a run earlier and was keeping him for the night while Nathan was out on patrol. Kneeling down beside him, she hugs his neck pointing up to show him the sparkling star that symbolized her parents and brother. He barks. She begins to tell him about the happy times she had and how much she missed them. Blade looks up at her as she continued; he softly whimpers and licks her cheek. She laughs, giving him a big hug and apologizes for talking too much. Again he licks her cheek. Standing, she blows a kiss out towards the stars and mouths ‘I love you’. Blade barks, standing on his back legs, he waves his front paws* Good boy, let’s go inside

Status: Alex spends time with her nephew

Alexandra Maguire  *Running up to the front door of the Compound, she opens and closes the door behind her with Jax and Bella at her side. Taking two steps at a time up the stairs, she laughs as the dogs bark. Unlocking the door to her quarters, she hears someone calling out to her. She turns to see Aric coming down the corridor {hey, Aunt Alex} *he kneels down to pet the dogs and gives her a hug* Hello, Aric How are you? *she pushes open the door for Bella to enter. Jax stands beside her* {I’m good Aunt Alex; I was just coming in when I saw you and the dogs. Wanted to make sure everything was ok} *she motions for him to enter the quarters and make himself at home {Thanks} *Closing the door, she looks down at Jax and tells him it’s ok *Aric takes a seat on the coach, when Bella approaches him. Jax softly growls. He looks up at her *ah, Aunt Alex is something wrong? *he looks at both dogs, feeling uncomfortable* Sorry, they are a bit protective when Kade’s not around, especially Jax *she smiles, shooing them away* Guess you have to come around more often so they can get use to you and trusting your presents around me *she chuckles* Don’t take offense, they may be Alaskan huskies but Kade has trained them well. They will defend and protect even if they sense him doing harm to me *she shrugs her shoulders* try to anyways. *he nods* {I don’t blame them, at all. If I were Kade and had a mate like you, I’ll train them to do the same} *Taking a seat next to her nephew, she asks him if he’s seeing anyone special. It’s been awhile since she’s spent time talking with him and enjoyed his company. After a few hours, spent talking, messing around with the dogs, having a bite to eat, we hugged good night and he promised to come by more often and take the dogs out for morning walks and night runs*
