* Aunt Gabrielle M. Thorne had Jordana and Aric and me get dressed early. Jordana had spent the night and with the fresh blanket of snow outside Aunt Gaby wanted to get some pictures. This was nothing new, Aunt Gaby was always taking pictures and, well Aric and I were often her subjects. I was excited Jordana was here so she could share in the fun, plus Aunt Gaby promised us hot chocolate and cookies when we were done. Outside, Gaby had us run around a little, chase each other around so Jordana and I would have "Rosey cheeks." That made us laugh ans we complied..We'd do anything for her. * Come on Jordi! We can catch Aric!

Jordana Gates-Bishop *giggling, I head after Aric* Come on Carys! *leaning down, I scoop up some snow and make a quick snowball. * Auntie Gabs! We're gonna get Aric!

Aric Chase *he was standing off to the side, looking at the perfect blanket of snow in front of him when he was hit in the back with the first snowball, quickly followed by another* Hey, Jordy! Sissy! Not fair! I'm gonna tell Mom! *as Jordana giggles and bends to scoop up another handful he turns and runs around the corner of the house. Scooping up his own handful he forms it quickly. *I'm gonna git you! Meanie butts!

Carys Chase * Giggling so hard I snort.* You'll never get us you dork! * Jordi and I run around and find Aric, pelting him with snowballs and running back to Aunt Gaby. " Alright, alright..Aric, come on sweetheart, let's take some pictures." Gaby's voice held laughter and as Aric walked over to us, I saw the look in his eyes, I knew what was coming..He got Jordi and me, then brushed the snow from his hands like it was no big deal.*

Jordana Gates-Bishop *laughing as I brush the snow out of my face* You are gonna get it Bub! *Picking up another handful of snow, I hold it in front of me, drawing in a deep breath, and blowing it at him* Auntie Gabs, I wanna be in the picture too!

Aric Chase *Aunt Gabby gave them "the Mom look" and they all stopped, grinning up at her. She shook her head and laughed softly "You are most definitely going to be in the picture Jordana. In fact, you just gave me a great idea." She took us over in front of one of the trees strung with lights and lined us up. Jordy was on one side of me and Sissy was on the other. She had each of us pick up handful of snow and blow it at her over and over until she got the shot she wanted. When she finished we all ran back inside to warm up and have some hot chocolate.*

*sitting in my room I flipped through the photo album as I waited for Gideon. Coming to the picture, I laughed as I looked at it. I can remember the day like it was yesterday. I was reading in the kitchen when Gabrielle came in with her camera. I looked up at her and smiled. She was looking at me with that, I've got an idea look of hers.* Okay Gabby, what are you thinking? *I said.* Nothing? I was just thinking how cute you look in that outfit. *The next thing I know, she was snapping away. I still don't know how she talked me into getting on the table.*

There was never a dull moment in our home, the boys grew into incredible men right in front of our eyes, and our girls never ceased to amaze us with all they achieved right along side them. Now, I know boys will be boys, but they never put a breed spin on it. Watching Aric grow always made me laugh, his sense of adventure and need to be a warrior got him into trouble. He had ways of taking over the elder breeds in strategic catch me if you can games. This one, he particularly liked. Truth is so did my mate, if you asked him he would say it was purely a training exercise, in reality, that sling shot is his favorite toy! I did love capturing the good times....

I've done so much over the years that it takes till the last minute to think of what to do for him *stretched out on the chair, I enjoy the warmth of the sun*

He hasn't seen his parents or his brothers since they where born. > Sipping my drink < This is very good Alex, you must of dipped into Sav's private stash, I'll be sure not to tell her. We could have a private engagement in the dining hall with them, make it a weekend event. Aric and Nathan can show the twins around and you and Kade can show them DC. It would be nice to show them what the Order does and how much of an asset Kade is to us and our species. You should think about inviting his uncle as well.>

Yes, have his parents fly in and, and *I look over at her* I'm sorry, sis but I don't want this to be a big weekend event. Just a nice surprise dinner with them for Kade's birthday then a small gathering here at The Compound with the family. *pouring another glass of lemonade I spiked earlier, I sip* I'm so glade, I asked for your help to brain storm now I have the best gift to give to my mate. I hope this surprise makes him happy.
