Outing: Kellan and Mira take a run

*strapping on a few knives and a gun to my back I pull my sweat shirt over my head before putting on my sneakers. Hearing Mira call me from the living room I walk to the door and lean against the jamb* Hey love, I didn’t know you would be back this soon from seeing your mother. How is she doing?

Mira Nicholas-Archer Yeah, I was just getting ready to take a run. *leaning up on my toes to give him a quick kiss* Rennie's good, she is completely over being pregnant. *resting my hands on his shoulders* She did make me try one of her cravings though... *making a face*

Kellan Archer Well what do you know I was going to go for a run myself. *tapping her nose with my finger as she makes a face* I guess the food was not to your liking! So, if you want we can run together! *winking* You know I still owe you for putting snow down my shirt on our last run?

Mira Nicholas-Archer Um, no...it's was pickles and peanut butter. *fakes gagging* And you totally deserved getting that snow down your shirt. *laughing, I step away from him, bend down to grab my sneakers and head to the door* You coming?

Kellan Archer *looking at her I smile then follow her out* Lets run on the grounds *grins* That way no one will hear you scream... *she looks at me then swings a fist in my direction; as I duck and start to run she yells that she is going to get me* That's what you always say babe and I'm still waiting... *making my way out the side door I slow down so she can catch up* Left or right?

Mira Nicholas-Archer I always get you, some way or another. *pointing right* And you know it! *We start to run side by side through the crunchy snow, the sound of it under our feet reminding me of our childhood in Maine* It's a little slippery, would be such a shame for you to fall!

Kellan Archer *glancing over at her as she smiles I laugh* Really? If I fall I will take you with me... She give me a side stare then moves over a bit as if to keep me from getting to her if I were to fall* That won't help you and you know it, I will take you down with me! *playing I reach out like I'm going to grab her making her scream a little and run ahead of me*

Mira Nicholas-Archer Don't even think about it, Kellan! *running faster and a few more inches away from him* You will get snow somewhere on your body!

Kellan Archer So you want to play? *grinning as my fangs drop, the amber glow of my eyes on her back. Stopping I let her move farther away before I start the chase* We can play all night! *a low growl rises from my chest and I start to move; turning around she see the look in on my face and she begins to yelp. Laughing I get close enough so she can feel my fingers at her back. Smiling as I feel her heart as I if it were my own I reach out again and she tucks down and slips on the snow. Trying to keep her from falling and her trying to get away I slip landing just above her and I grab her leg pulling her back to me* See I told you I would get you!

Mira Nicholas-Archer You jerk *laughing* now I'm cold AND wet! *Laughing even harder when he slips again, falling across me with his face in the snow* Karma just got you!

Kellan Archer I'm not the jerk here babe, you're the one that ran in the first place. What did you think I would do? *pulling her to me I slid her under me and kiss her nose* And just in case you didn't know I'm wet too. *kissing her again* But Your keeping me very warm...

Mira Nicholas-Archer *rolling my eyes* You were running too, don't get mad at me because Karma bit you in the ass! *smirking, I wiggle underneath him* You're warm because you're on top of me...my ass is going to be numb for weeks!

Kellan Archer *getting on my knees I lift her up and as soon as she is on her knees she tries to knock me off balance. Wanting to make her happy I fall onto my back, looking up I see the big smile on her face* Are you happy now? I will have a cold ass too!

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Laughing hard* That's what you get! *getting back up on my feet, I brush the wet snow off my knees and then old my hands out to help him up* You wanna head back to the house? You can make me some hot chocolate and we can snuggle. *snickers*

Kellan Archer *shaking my head at her I let her help me up, keeping her hand I pull her into my body kissing her lips* Yeah we can go back now and no, you can make your own hot chocolate... But I can find another way to warm you up! *winking I release her and we head back to the compound for the next round of our winter nights bliss*
