{Revenge} Saving Elijah

*She was puttering around in the infirmary when she received an urgent call form Gideon. She could tell by the tone of his voice it wasn't good.. His information was sketchy on the circumstances. There was incoming wounded, and one of the warriors was critical. Pocketing her phone she steered a gurney rapidly down the hall toward the back entrance. Hearing the squeal of the brakes and the slamming of the doors she rushed to the key pad and punched in the code to open the doorHer breath caught briefly when she saw the bloodied body of Elijah, Helping Rafe carefully place the wounded Breed on the stretcher. They quickly rushed to the infirmary to better asses the warrior. Barking out orders for Rafe to turn on the suction and oxygen she tore away the fabric to better assess his injuries, he had multiple chest and abdomen wounds. Blood seeped from his mouth as he struggled to breath, and there was a sucking noise from his chest. Reaching over she grabbed a vaseline gauze and sealed the wound. Eli was like a limp rag doll as Rafe turned his head to the side suctioning out the red liquid. His pulse was rapid and she knew they would lose the male if they didn't act quickly This was going to take both her and her boy's power to save this warrior. * He's lost a lot of blood we've got to act fast. . *Looking up as she see the other injured limping in, blood dripping from their wounds. She knew she was going to need more help.* Seeing Nathan Bishop coming in from the rear he was bloodied but she knew he wasn't injured* Nathan, get Brock and Dante down here STAT!!! Tell them to do whatever they can to see to the others until I'm finished with Eli!

  • Rafe Malebranche *I lay Eli down, making sure he was as comfortable as possible. He had lost a hell of a lot of blood and would need both my mother and I to get him through tonight. I looked up once at my mom, our eyes locking in unspoken communication. We both knew what we needed to do. I then zoned in on taking care of Eli to worry about anyone else at this point. I wanted to stabilize him, and now. I growled low to myself, focusing my powers on my fallen brother, starting the healing process as much as I could.* Stay with me Eli..... We've got you home. Don't you dare leave us now. *I put my hands on two spots that were the least injured and let my power flow into him, the most superficial of the wounds healing up. The rest would take a hell of a lot more energy but I would give him all I could and more.*

  • Nathan Bishop -I stand back as they begin working on Eli. I run my hand over my scalp, the only indication that I'm agitated and nervous for my teammate. I take out my phone as I step from the room on the way to Lucan's office. I reach out to Brock, apprising him of the situation and requesting him andDante down in the infirmary. I knock on Lucan's door and walk through when he answers. He takes one look at my bloodied, disheveled look and stands up behind his desk. I give him the low down and he curses, moving around the desk. Side by side, we head back down to the infirmary so he can assess the situation personally. On the way, he questions me and the more information he gleams from me, the more pissed off he becomes..-

  • Elijah Breed *Pain like he has never felt in his life pulses through his body like a thousand burning knives. Eli tried to breath through his mouth, but the coppery taste of his own blood choked him. Desperation and fury started to boil within the dying warrior. Air! He needs air!

Somebody is touching him and he feels brief respites from his pain...however, he trashes weakly, gasping and choking for air. Soon, his embattled brain sends him a primal message... he needed blood to heal.

His eyes open suddenly, fierce beams of amber light. His fangs descend, punching out of his gums. Blood. HE NEEDED TO FEED*

  • Brock Breed *Receiving the message from Nathan, I rush out of my quarters and head with Breed speed to the infirmary. The scene within reeks of carnage. Quickly assessing the situation, it appears right now that Eli is most in need of pain relief as Rafe and his mother feverishly work on his injuries. Laying my hands upon his body, I receive the jolt from the jumble of emotions and pain flooding his body. My God - such pain! The weight of it nearly brings me to my knees. Steadying myself, I brace for the task. There will be others tonight that will be in need of my help as well. Continuing with pulling out his pain, I bring as much of it into my body as I can stand.* Dammit, he needs to feed! We need a donor, now!

  • Lucan Thorne Moving with the preternatural speeds his ancient father provided him, he makes his way to the infirmary.
His glyphs churn deep burgundy, as the knowledge that one of his warriors has been critically injured is confirmed by Nathan.
    Several warriors
are gathered in a cluster to the right side of the room, the cacophony of their growls, curses and strained words of support for their brother in arms rises from the halo of large, fully armed bodies around the bed, at the center of the melee; a petite blonde, moving around and asking for more room, more light.....
His roar jolts everyone but Tess, his warriors turn to face him as he curses and makes his way toward the bed, the lights overhead flickering and surging as he strains to control the gift his mother bestowed upon him*
What the fuck happened out there?
*He spots Malcolm standing among the men and locks eyes with him*
What happened to an in and out strike to rescue a few humans McBain?

  • Malcolm MacBain *Under his breath he thanked the goddess Tuatha de Danaan and his Breed genetics for the repairing of his body. Thankfull that the blade had misses his vital organs he would not be long on healing. Making his way towards the gurney where Eli layed he was halted by Lucan's voice that sounded like a sonice boom, demanding answers.* It was a trap. *Reaching down he touched the young warriors shoulder and heaved a sigh* I take full responsibility.

  • Tess Culver Malebranche *The energy of her healing power flowed through her hands as she touched and sealed the bullet holes. The small wounds she and her son could handle alone but it was the gaping hole in his chest that would need both of their attention. Reaching for a pair of small forceps her thoughts are interrupted by a voice that could only be Lucan's. He was in the infirmary demanding answers. Growling, she turned, her hand brushing against the Gen One leader. She felt a powerful jolt course through her to Lucan. Quickly retracting her hand she turned back to Elijah.* Now is NOT the time BOYS. We are losing this kid. Working quickly she dug out the bone fragments, with normal saline she washed out the wound. Peering inside she shook her head at the gravity of the injury. The liver had been nicked as had the lung and she could only assume the bullet was lodged near his spine. Looking up at Rafe her concern was etched deeply on her face.* The bullet is better left where it is at. Let's get this bleeding stopped and seal up this hole. *In earnest they combined their powers and along with Eli's Breed's DNA the healing process began. After the bleeding had stopped she let out the air that she had held for so long. Stitching up the wound she stepped back. Eli was weak, but he would make it.*

  • Lucan Thorne *Staggering back a step, fighting to keep his knees from buckling, he physically shakes his head to clear the fog. Tess stands before him, her form is fuzzy but she looks shocked for a moment before turning her attention back to Elijah. Her hands, with their healing powers amped up full force, have quite the opposite effect on his healthy body, draining his energy and momentarily weakening him. He feels a hand at his back and turns to see Brock beside him. The exhaustion in his body starts to lift and he recovers his bearings. Wisely heeding Tess's advise, he glares at Malcolm and orders him to the war room to be debriefed*

  • Jax Breed * Jax had refused Tess and Rafe Malebranche's help saying he would heal. The wound was a through and through and already the feeling had returned to his right hand. Elijah Breed needed their help. He stepped out of the medical room as Lucan Thorne had moved inside, he didn't need nor did he want the ass chewing that was coming, for now that could wait as well. What he needed now was a shower and his favorite feeder. Returning to his quiet room, he removed his weapons and laid them out for cleaning later. Palming his cell phone, he called the female he would meet up with later and headed for the shower. He knew Malcolm MacBain would talk to Lucan and Jax would as well when and if the time came.*

  • Rafe Malebranche *I took a deep breath, thankful that between his own Breed genetics, and my mom's and my abilities, Elijah was going to be just fine. The worst of his wounds finally sealed themselves as my mom sewed up the bullet wound. She was always better than me at stuff like that. I couldn't sew anyone up to save anyone's life. I looked at her once she was done* Mom, Elijah's going to need a donor, soon. He's lost too much blood to go without feeding. *I saw the worry in her eyes and I knew she'd realized the same thing. She gave a nod and I knew someone would be brought in to feed Elijah.

She smoothed back Elijah's hair as we cleaned off all of the blood that had remained on his skin. We made sure he was comfortable, as Mom covered Elijah with a clean blanket. I was still very worried. He looked so damned pale, even with all the help we gave him. I held back a growl as we cleaned everything up, sterilizing all of the equipment we'd used. That's when I took a good look at my mom. She was pale, exhausted and needed to eat and sleep. I went over to her as soon as we were finished, and put my arm around her shoulders.* You need to rest Mom. I'm taking you back to your suite, I'll bring you something to eat and I want you to sleep. Let's not give Dad a reason to hurt Elijah once he heals up all the way. *I was glad to see the small smile that flitted across her face and I escorted her back to my parents suite. Making sure she was comfortable, I ran to the kitchen and put together a quick but filling meal for her and laid it all out on a tray, taking it back to her. I then went back to the infirmary and pulled up a chair next to Elijah, wanting to be close by just in case he needed anything.*
