*waking up in her mates arms, she snuggles closer to him kissing him softly on his lips. He stirs, pulling her tighter against him. She smiles knowing how tired he was from his late night on patrol with his brethren. He needed his rest even though the breed sometimes thinks that sleep is over rated. They’re vampires for christ sakes. She slowly maneuvers herself from his hold, he mumbles* Shhhhh, sleep my Luv *she leans over him to kiss his cheek before entering the bathroom to shower. Dressed in a pair of sweat-pants, t-shirt and sneakers she grabs her iPod and a bottle of water to start her morning run. Passing the gym on her way out, she sees her nephew working out and stops in to say hello* Hey Aric, How’s it going? *bench pressing the bar he stops to look over his head and smiles* {Hey, Aunt Alex. Nothing much, just getting in an early work out} *hoisting the bar above his head, he places it on the pole* Nothing? That’s not what I’m hearing. *he raises a brow* {And what have you heard? Besides me missing the hell out of my sister.} *he sits up stretching his arms out in front of him cracking his knuckles. She crinches at the sound. Stepping in closer she sits beside him* Yes, you missing Carys and sulking keeping to yourself since she’s been gone *he leans forward clasping his hands together* {I didn't think I would miss her this much, you know. I just want her to be alright} *placing her hand over his* Listen, I know it’s hard not having your sister close but you have to know Aric, you and Carys will always have a special bond that’s inseparable, no matter how far apart you are. You both have always had each other’s backs, even when you knew she was in the wrong sometimes. You probably heard this from your mother already but *she elbows him* Carys will be fine and from what I’ve heard, she’ll be home soon. *she whispers ‘Bud’ and laughs* I’m on my way out for a morning run, would you like to join me? *he grins when she called him the nick name his sister calls him* {Yeah, I would love to join you, just give me a few minutes to change} *he stands to walk into the locker-room, turns and looks at her* {Thanks, Aunt Alex} *looking at him she smiles* Anytime, Aric
