Lucan: *Sitting across from Gideon while the sharp minded male handles the original page the young warriors have brought them. He has preserved the original well and made several scanned copies for the team to examine. Tegan looks over the other worldly symbols and familiar looking text, silently concentrating on the images until he finally drops it to the table and eases back in his chair. Frustrated himself, his mind turns to Dare and Jenna; the incredible work they have done with the cataloging and referencing of the Ancient’s history and memories has been a tedious task, yet one they both seem to excel at. He nods to Gideon, letting him know that it is time to turn the original page over to their resident experts, he sends off a text asking the two of them to meet him in his office*
Gideon: *Looking over the page for the hundredth time, I hold it by the ends carefully, even though it’s in a protective sheath. I keep wracking my brain trying to decode the information right in front of my eyes, but to my frustration, it’s just a no go. I watch as Tegan and Lucan mull it over, hoping that one of them can reach back and pull out something from their combined sixteen hundred years of existence. Getting “the look” from Lucan, I know he’s ready to call in the super librarian and her sidekick to take over*
Tegan: *grunting, he pinched his nose bridge as he scanned the documents and their references. Nothing was adding up* Fucking hell, send them in. They've probably studied the language better than we have. *The times had changed, the languages even more so than the ones Lucan and he had spoken back in ancient Europe*
Dare: *receiving the text from my father, I walk briskly to his office, meeting Jenna on the way.* They must have found something they want us to see, since they want us both. At least it must mean I'm not in trouble with Father! *going in to the office, I see Father sitting at the long table with Tegan and Gideon, studying a paper. Nodding to my uncles, I look at my father expectantly.*
Jenna: *receiving a message, I head down to Lucan's office. Smiling at Dare as he remarks about getting in trouble. As we enter the office together, I notice the frustrated expressions and the note on the desk. * You called for us?
Lucan: Jenna, Dare, thank you for arriving so promptly. We have something we think might be of interest to you, Nathan, Kellan and Mira recovered the original text about a week ago, and we would like you to lend your knowledge of Ancient languages to deciphering the page. *Gesturing with an open palm, , he offers them a seat at the table and watches as Gideon slides up to them in his rolling chair and drops a copy of the page in front of each of them.
Gideon: *Laying out their copies, I slide back to my own space, watching as both of them look over the text, Dare steals a glance at his Dad who I could have sworn narrowed his eye enough to be considered a wink. Sliding off my glasses, I breathe on them and rub them with my t-shirt before popping them back on. Jenna looks up asking where we came across the old page. Nodding to Tegan I wait for him to fill them in on his warrior's recovery mission*
Tegan: During a patrol with Kellan, Nathan, Mira and their teams, they ran across Dia. Unfortunately, he eluded capture once more but we have a treasured artifact within our keep.*He pointed at certain phrases that he had highlighted on his copy* Perhaps you two could help with this business. You've studied the journals and history enough. Have you run across anything of this nature?
Dare: *Studying the copy handed to me by Gideon, I glance over at Jenna. Our eyes meet as realization of what we have dawns on us.* I've seen this before. It's in one of Jenna's journals. *Turning to my Father* I've been working on cataloging some of the repetitive writings and phrases. I've stored them on our secure server. *going over to Father's laptop, I begin searching for the journal that contains these phrases so we can figure this out. Locating the specific one, I head to the library to retrieve not only that one, but the ones before and after to try to put this in proper context, leaving Jenna to translate while I use my speed to get to the library.*
Jenna: *reviewing the page, I look around the room wondering how this could be. Grabbing a piece of paper and a pen I start to translate the writing.
~castle and croft shall come together
under the crescent moon
to the borderlands east turn your eye
at the cross lies truth
once there turn to the moon
a second marking
will be revealed
your fate and destiny
you will find behind
the evil's eyes~
Finishing the translation I read it over quietly before pushing the paper toward Lucan* This sounds familiar for some reason.

Lucan: *The translation before him is familiar indeed. Scrubbing his hands over his face, he reads over the translation again* Fuck *meeting Tegan and Gideon's stares, he passes them the paper to look over* Seems the Odlof/Dragos riddle had more to it then the original verse. Gideon I want you on this full time figure this shit out.
Gideon: *I quickly read it over twice. My mind pulling up the original and doing a fast comparison. I'm on it boss, but actually it wasn't me who figured out the first riddle, the breedmates had a huge hand in it. *Passing the page off to Tegan, I think of the help Elise and Savannah were to us the first time around* If this verse holds the same significance as the first on did, I think it should be top priority, and I think the best place to start is at the beginning, I think we need to send a recon mission to Prague, back to the site of the Ancient's tomb. *cursing under my breath as I see Lucan's stiff reaction*
Tegan: *He smirked, a humorless tilt to his lips.* Back to the beginning eh? I'm sure the ladies would love to help. I certainly hear it enough from Elise. *He turned to the librarian and her assistant* Great work you two. If this riddle is any indication, we'll need all hands on deck before shit blows up in our face.
Dare: *returning to the room, 3 journals under my arm. Placing them on the table, I turn to the page where the riddle appears, word for word.* Here it is. However, if we look at this closer, I think it is not from Dragos. It appears to be a warning from the Atlanteans. Note the reference to the crescent moon, and a second marking - the teardrop? *turning to Jenna* What do you think? We could go over these other two journals as well. They are the ones just before and after the one where the riddle appears. *Nodding toward Gideon* I think Gid is on the right track - Prague is where we should start.
Jenna: *nodding to Tegan* You can certainly count me in. *Getting up to look over the journals Dare brought back, I open the second scanning the pages.* There has to be something here that will help us. We need a plan and to catalog what we already know.
Lucan: *His mind already forming a battle strategy, he looks to his Son, Dare, you and Jenna have done well, head back to the library and see what else you may be able to uncover. Tegan, Gideon, I want all hands on deck for this thing. Gideon, I believe you're right about needing a travel party, get started right away with making the arrangements, notify Malcolm and Lazaro that we will need their European contacts, also letMicah know his team may be needed. Tegan, I want your input on which of our warriors will make the best recon team, for this mission. Lets get them notified and made ready as soon as possible*
