Patrol: Kade and Rio

Kade Breed  July 26, 2013   *Riding the compound elevator topside, I continue to check and double check my weapons belt and ammo status. The briefing on tonight's patrol included orders from Lucan to check out the vandalism at the Lincoln Memorial. Shaking my head as I glance at Rio I think about how important it is that we clear the Breed from this entire situation*

Kade Breed *Striding from the elevator towards the vehicle, he laughs a little to himself as he agrees with Rio's obvious discontent* No shit, man. I say we figure out who these idiots are as fast as we can, turn 'em over, and get back to the real work. Screw wasting time on bored miscreants.

Kade Breed You got it. *He falls in alongside Rio as they walk towards the Lincoln Memorial. Keeping one hand on his weapon in case of any surprises, he and Rio both survey the area looking for anything suspicious* So do you think they would be dumb enough to stick around, man?

Kade Breed *Nodding at Rio's suggestion he leads the way around the back of the massive building. Silently coming around the corner his Breed senses pick up the coppery tang of fresh spilled blood. Both their warrior instincts go on full alert as he jumps to the ground behind a sidewalk dumpster only to find himself ankle deep in what was left of the restoration crew. Darting a quick, ambered, glance at Rio he unsticks himself from the carnage and looks around* SHIT! Looks like we just missed them. The bodies are still warm, Man. *shaking his head* We gotta get this shit cleaned up before it becomes a hot piece for the media in the morning.

Kade Breed *Placing another two bodies into the dumpster, he looks around to makes sure everything was out of sight* Lets head back to the Memorial and take a closer look at that paint. Maybe we can find something left behind or marked in the paint. *With an acknowledging nod from Rio he turns and heads back to where the paint was splattered. Going rigid with adrenalin his mind registers the muffled scream of what could only be a rogue victim. Moving with Rio, they both take off in the direction of the noise*

Kade Breed *Barely having enough time to react to Rio's kill he turns a shoulder into a second rogue on a direct escape route out the back. Quickly rolling to his feet after the collision he and the rogue begin to square off* Here kitty, kitty, kitty *Grinning with fang as the rogue launches himself at him. He slams his palm into his assailant's shoulder and moves around behind him as they hit the ground a second time. Reaching around with his hands, he gives a quick jerk effectively snapping the neck of the rogue and looks up just in time to see one of the kids make a break for it* Rio, Grab him!

Kade Breed *Catching the blade in midair he stabs it into the broken body of the rogue, watching it vanish to ash all around him. He quickly comes to his feet and reaches out an arm to catch the second of the two escaping vandals* Now what have we got here? *Showing fang as he grabs the kid's collar and picks him clear off the ground* You think this is funny, defacing a monument in the middle of the night? Jesus, Kid, try getting yourself a girlfriend or something. *He shakes his head as he drags the trembling kid over to where Rio was corralling the second one* Looks like we got Scooby Doo and Scrappy too.
