{Atlanteans} Tavia and Carys Catalogue the Artifacts

Tavia Chase  *Sitting in my living quarters looking through books when Carys knocks in the door* Come in *Smiling at my daughter, I lean up hugging her* Thanks for coming to help me with cataloging and research on the artifacts. *Giving you the pictures to look over while I flip through an ancient Egypt book* I am finding if I combine some of the symbols I can match to several different origins, but nothing definite yet.

Carys Chase *Hugging mom, I sit beside her and take the photos from her.* Sounds tedious mom. But, I'm glad to help.

Tavia Chase *Laughs* It is, but I know the answer is right in front of me. I just have to piece it together. *Sipping my coffee* Do you want to go to the spa later this week?

Carys Chase Nodding as I scan a photo looking for anything to help mom out.* Yeah, that sounds great, mom.

Tavia Chase *Pulling up laptop and typing up my findings so far, I then pull out a Ancient Greek and Mythology book* These books are so old, I was glad there was a place in DC that had books like this. Look some are even hand written.

Carys Chase Wow, they're beautiful. * carefully picking one of books up, my fingers lightly brush over some of the writing, I smile because I can read the words.*

Tavia Chase Mira told me I looked like Bell from Beauty and the beast, when I climbed up the ladder and pulled stacks of books down. *Typing* <Journal number six, page eight has a similar symbol to artifact number six. Talk with Dare or Jenna in reference to it> *looking at Carys* Did you and Jordana have a good time the other day?

Carys Chase *Grinning, I set the book down and go back to scanning photos* Yeah, we did. We really teased Nathan. He was a good sport though.

Tavia Chase Teased Nathan? Why did you tease your Uncle? *Typing another note* <symbol on artifact eight can be found in two different books, similar but not exact matches>

Carys Chase *Laughs* Mom, him and Jordana Gates like each other, you can feel it when ever their around each other. * Sitting up I scan the photo in my hand before giving it to mom.* Does this one match?

Tavia Chase *Eyes sparkle at the thought * He deserves someone like Jordana, I think it would be wonderful. He had to grow up way to fast, with what Dragos did to him, but he had something the other assassins did not; a mother that loved him and fought like hell to find him. *Looking at the symbol * Damn that is really close Carys, the line is a little off, but we will record that as well.

Carys Chase * Smiles sadly as I continue looking at the pictures* You know, I remember you telling me and Aric about that. It made me appreciate you and daddy more.

Tavia Chase *Nods* When I came into the family, he never smiled, he was quiet, and constantly watched everything around. It took him a few years to let that guard down and let his family in.

Carys Chase That's so sad, mom. *Shaking my head* I'll never understand how anyone could treat a child like that. *Picks up one of the books to compare a symbol I found*

Tavia Chase Dragos was an egomaniacal bastard, he cared for no one but his own personal gain. That was so long ago and another lifetime, it seems. *Typing another entry into the catalog document* <Carys found a very similar symbol in book number XXI Mythology, page 68>

Carys Chase *Grabbing another book on ancient Greek I flip through it till I find what I'm looking for and set in front of mom.* Here's one, and it's in another picture as well.

Tavia Chase *Smiles* that is awesome thanks Carys. *Typing another entry on the document* <Carys found the same symbol in above entry in book reference number 1297301, page six> *stretching and standing to walk around for a few*

Carys Chase Mom, what's gonna happen if you figure all of this out? Then what? * Thumbing through the ancient Greek book absently*

Tavia Chase *Laughs* Never thought about that, just would like to have a little more on the breed mate mark and where we originate from, be it a fallen city or immortals of a different race. I am not really sure yet. We are just cataloging and going from there. *Grabs your hand* Let's go for a walk and take a break.

Carys Chase Sure, mom. * Standing as mom pulls me up, I stretch and follow her out.*

Tavia Chase *Taking a walk through the halls of the compound, talking with Carys* I think a lot of it is us finding out more about the other Immortals that we believe are blending in with society and fathering breedmates all these years.

Carys Chase Yeah? That would be cool Finding out who the first ones were and stuff. *Nodding to others as we pass them.*.

Tavia Chase *Heading outside to sit on patio* It kind of makes since, most of my sister's fathers were in their mother's life long enough to produce offspring. They would not stay because they would not want anyone to notice they were not aging. All these years of not knowing and the answers may be in the few artifacts from the cave.

Carys Chase *Sitting beside her I smile softly* I'm glad I have you and dad, even Aric. I couldn't imagine not knowing who my father was, or if he even cared about me. *Laughs* I was such a daddy's girl anyway.

Tavia Chase Yes you were and still are. *Hugging you tightly* I am glad to have you as well, I could not imagine my life without you and your brother. You know what? We did enough cataloging let's go get Mani/pedis and relax.*winking at my daughter*

Carys Chase That sounds perfect mom. *With a huge grin on my face I head inside and get my purse and keys. I meet mom in the underground garage and we get into my car. All buckled in I drive us through the city to our favorite spa for some much needed pampering.*
