{Atlanteans} Tavia and Jenna discuss their Findings

Tavia Chase   *Walking toward Jenna's quarters to discuss some of the findings we found in the books that are similar to those in her journals. Knocking softly, I hear her say "come in". Opening the door, I greet her with a hug* Hello sis, I wanted to talk with you about a few similarities we found in the ancient books, that compare with your journals. *pulling up the computer file and reference document*

Jenna Darrow *hugging Tavia, I put down the journal I had been writing in and take a seat with her on the couch* Show me what you've found. I know you spoke with the professor. I always love how they attribute the Ancient's language to an older human civilization. *smiling, as she pulls up the images and files on the laptop and I remember our time in Prague*

Tavia Chase *Lifting the picture from the ancient Greek mythology book and the symbol from the Egyptian book* If you put the two symbols together, they match almost perfectly. The professor found the same, nothing conclusive though. These symbols match an earlier journal you wrote.

Jenna Darrow *looking at the pictures closely, I see the Ancient writing at another time and recall the musty smell of his surroundings, shaking the memory loose, i refocus on the images in front of me.* This is the Ancient's language. Though it appears the humans adapted some of it as their own. We have seen that in other cultures too since I started recording my, I mean, his life. *looking over at Tavia, I smile and laugh softly* Sometimes it's hard to separate the two.

Tavia Chase *Nodding* I could not imagine going through so many years and reliving his life. I know when I had the dreams remembering the things Diabolus made me forget, it was horrible, I felt like I was being ripped apart. *Touches your hand* How do you handle it? You have seen and felt so much through the years from him. *Tapping my pen onto to desk as I look through the books* I know the answer is in front of us, we just have to piece it together. Here is another one, it was on page five/journal seven and also on page twelve/journal eight.

Dare Thorne *Since I was free right now, I thought I would see if Aunt Jenna could use any help with the journals. Knocking on the door, and hearing her say to come on in, I walk in to see Aunt Tavia there as well, surrounded by pictures and journals.* Hey Aunties - could you use some help? Did you find anything out anything from the Professor that could be of use? I can catalog it into the computer program if you need me to. I have a little spare time.

Jenna Darrow *smiling as Dare comes in, I motion for him to join us on the couch* Hi, I'm so glad you are here. We were just discussing some of the repeating symbols in the journals that you and I have actually reviewed previously. I know Gideon's software has helped tremendously and we can use that for this as well. *handing him one of the images and moving over so he could see the laptop, I look to each of them* I am certain this symbol was also in the first journal I recorded. I remember tracing it while trying to calm myself from the feeling of the burning trees around me, or rather him.

Tavia Chase *Hugs Dare* Hi nephew, I am also glad you showed up. I have about fifty ancient books I have been memorizing, the findings are inconclusive at the moment but in my opinion the symbols match several different languages, especially if you combine. *Pulls open her file on laptop* I am recording all the variations of the dialect in a journal on the laptop. I am gathering and recording everything that I have to make it easily readable for everyone. I have included page numbers, if they correspond with the journals, and I have labeled all the reference books I have. *Looks at you both* I had an appointment to speak with a professional from an auction house, that specializes in ancient artifacts, but I cancelled it.

Dare Thorne *looking at the images and studying them* I think it would be quite easy to scan these images and put them in the program. Uncle Gid's software can then match them up to the appropriate journal entries. *turning to Aunt Tavia" So, you think if these are combined, it's trying to tell us something. Interesting. Do you really think the auction house dude can help? I somehow have a feeling that this stuff is way more ancient than anything he's seen before, but I'd be interested in hearing what he has to say for sure.

Jenna Darrow *listening intently as I study the images* These are certainly a mix of the Ancient's language which is why they are in the journals. They have been corrupted by the humans who tried to incorporate them into their own language though so we need to be careful that the meanings have not changed as well from what we know the Ancient's to mean. Any resources we can pull from will assist us in getting an accurate translation but we need to be very careful who and how much we share of the artifacts. We do not know if someone else may still be looking for whatever they reveal or who might decide to look for it. *nodding to both of them, I pick up another image and study the differences in the language*

Tavia Chase *Nodding in agreement * That is why I came to you first, because of what my father did to you. You share his memories, reliving them as if you were there. *Pulling up the information on the auction house employee* This is him, Sterling is not thrilled about me going, so I cancelled the appointment. I have only shared a few with Professor Myers and I trust him whole heartily. He was a young professor when I went to school, I have known him many years.

I do agree we need to make sure we are correct in our outcome, when finding out about these symbols and their meaning. We are on the right path to figuring this out, I know it.

Dare Thorne *looking thoughtfully at the images once more* I can see why Uncle Sterling is leery about it. In this day and age, you can't be 100% certain that others that may be hunting for the artifacts may not have gotten to him first. Please be very careful about the information you provide to him, Aunt Tavia. The fewer people outside this compound that know about this, the better off we are. I'm sure Dad would agree. I'll get to work on entering this information into Gid's program right away. I'm certain we can figure this out. It might take some time though.

Jenna Darrow You really shouldn't go alone. One of the warriors should accompany you just in case he's not on the up and up. *looking over at Tavia and nodding* I would make sure not to leave him with any of the images either just to be safe. Sorry, I know you trust him but we must be careful. *glancing over at Dare, I smile sweetly at my nephew* Perhaps your father would allow you to go. You have done extensive research on my journals and are an excellent warrior. I'm sure it would make Sterling feel more comfortable as well.

Tavia Chase *Grins* Yes, since the college class I did and dealing with protestors, Sterling, as well as the other warriors won't let us go alone. I am still not sure I trust the person from the auction house. I would feel better if I had a few go with me. I have only showed my professor the drawing I did of the symbol not the actual artifact picture.

*Laughing * Dare, Jenna I actually had someone tell me to go back to my planet at the college. Aric was so pissed, I grabbed him and pulled him away. He could not understand how I could be so nice. *shrugs* I guess I am still hoping to change the opinions of humans.

*Shaking off the memory, I get back down to typing up the reference document, for everyone's benefit * You know, it is strange to think another race of immortals living among us, but it would explain a lot.

Dare Thorne Maybe Aric and I can go along with you. You know he'll want to go and keep an eye on things. We'll want to take all precautions necessary - including not letting any of the images out of our sight - not even for a minute. That's all the time it would take to copy them. We can run it by Dad to see if he can spare me to go along.

Jenna Darrow *setting down the photos and getting up to pace the room* I think that would be best Dare and I am sure your father will agree. There are still a lot of humans that fear us and just don't understand. Hell I recall when I first learned of the Breed. I wasn't scared but I kinda had other issues to deal with, like my own changes thanks to the Ancient. Hopefully this will all one day help answer the question as to why he did this to me. That is for another time though. Right now we need to get our hands on whatever this leads us to before anyone else does.

Tavia Chase *Flipping through Gideon's program* He set it up basically how I did on the journal for the artifacts, so we should be able to combine the two and it search automatically. You think you can do that Dare? *Looks at Jenna sympathically* I understand that totally Jen, I was told my whole life that mine were scars from a fire. *Taking a deep breath, rubbing her neck to take out the stiffness* It is really puzzling and I agree we need to be on this before anyone else is. *Stands to walk off some energy* I know the answer is right in front of us, I have been scrolling through my mind cataloging them all in my mind. It now pays to have the photographic memory, but I still wish I could knock people down like Renata. *winks at her nephew when he laughs*

Dare Thorne *laughing at Aunt Tavia* Okay ladies, I'll leave you to it, and I'll start work on loading the rest of this into the program and running the comparisons. I'll check with Dad to see if he'll be okay with me going along. I'm sure he won't mind as long as I'm not needed elsewhere. *taking the photos, I leave them to their conversations as I head to the computer lab to scan in the photos and load the programs.*

Jenna Darrow Dragos caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. I am surprised he really thought he could contain the Ancient forever and that he managed to do so for so long. Guess it was all meant to happen as it did. Though I certainly never would have asked to be changed, I am thankful that it brought me to all of you and especially Brock. We will figure this all out together. With the research Dare has done over the years, your memory, and Savy's ability to read the history of the objects when they arrive, we will really get some answers. *hugging Tavia tight* As always, we will rise above any challenge.

Tavia Chase *Thinking for a moment * You know I was perplexed that Savy could not read the artifacts, she tried in Prague but could not. *Looking at the time after returning the hug* I'm so glad you came into our lives as well. *yawning* No wander I feel so tired we have been at this for hours. I think I need to go crawl in bed with Sterling and start fresh tomorrow. *hugging her again, I gathered up my things and headed back to my quarters *
