Kellan Archer January 21, 2013 *Getting a txt from Tegan to meet him in the training center A.S.A.P. I quickly change and grab my dufflebag and head out as fast as I can; not wanting to keep him waiting. As I turn the corner I almost collide with Mira reaching out to and
grabbing onto her arm to keep her from falling* Hey Mouse! Where are you off to
in such a hurry?
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *catching my breath after our near collide* The training center! I just got a text from Tegan about coming down now. Did you get one too? Do you know if Nathan got
one too?
Kellan Archer *Looking
over as Tegan walks up to us* I’m ready whenever you are!
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *squatting down to tighten the ties on my
shoes, I look up at Tegan and nod my head* I'm ready too. *I stand back up and
wait for our orders, hoping that I'm not given some lame job because I'm only
15.*
Kellan Archer *Looking
him in his eyes not showing any signs of weakness knowing that I could do
whatever was needed. I shake my head waiting for him to begin*
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *grimacing...what does he mean emotions are
a weakness? I look over at Kellan and then back to Tegan.* But what if we use
our emotions to help fight?
Kellan Archer *Picking
up the gloves and pads I quickly put them on and wait for further instructions
as he starts to pace in front of us. Looking at Mira wanting
to help her but not wanting to get on Tegan’s bad side by doing so*
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *As I slide my gloves on, I can't help but
think that this all sounds cold-hearted to me. Rennie isn't cold hearted? I
sneak a glance at Kellan and wonder what he is thinking of all of this.*
Kellan Archer You
mean you want me to fight her like she is my enemy? *Looking from Tegan to Mira* I
don’t know if I can do that, I mean she is human. What if I hurt her?
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *I feel blood rush to my cheeks when Tegan declares that he knows we are a couple. Omg...everyone knows!! Thoughts rush through my head at the challenge Tegan has given us* But... *looking Kellan up
and down with my eyes wide* you don't mean real fighting, do you?
Kellan Archer *Shaking
my head at his question I look at Mira and shrug* Ok let’s do this and be done
with it. * Going to the center of the room I wait for her to follow* You throw
the first punch and we will go from there!
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *following Kellan out to the middle of the
mats, I stand before him in my fighting stance, looking at him right in the eye
and whisper* I know you won't really hurt me...I trust you. *I know in my heart
he won't hurt me, it would hurt him too much to do so. With a sigh, I make my
first move...thrusting my small fist into his hard stomach, right below his rib
cage.*
Kellan Archer *Trying
not to move too fast and not really wanting to hit her, I glance over and see
Tegan looking at me with that; you better stop playing look on his face. I
start to throw jabs at her trying to forget that it is really Mira that I am
hitting*
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *The solid muscle of Kellan's
body makes it hard to give punches that make any kind of impact. My only
advantage is that I am smaller, much smaller and able to move around him
faster. I spin out of his reach and catch him behind the knee, forcing him to
lose balance.*
Kellan Archer *As
I get knocked off balance a little, I laugh and start to taunt her* Come on
Mouse you can do better than that! *Hitting her in the head with a left jab she
staggers back a little and comes at me again*
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *staggering back, angry at his taunts and
the fact that the hardness of his body makes it difficult for me to make any
impact whatsoever. This is why knives are better!* You shouldn't taunt someone
who is shorter than you! *ducking out of his reach I deliver a left jab to the
rips and punch him hard in the stomach again...leaving a slight sting in my
knuckles*
Kellan Archer *Feeling
a little of a sting as her temper starts to get the better of her* See I knew
you could hit harder than a girl! *I take a step back as hits me again smiling
at her* Come on hit me!
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *I try to brush off feeling bad about my temper but I can't help but feel that I stung him. He urges me on so I deliver a few more jabs to his ribs, realizing too late that my slight move to the right was not a good idea. I feel his fist slam into my rib cage, knocking all of the air from my lungs and causing my body to collapse backward onto the floor.*
Kellan Archer *Everything
starts to move in slow motion as I realize that I hit Mira too
hard; I hear her breath leave her body and she starts to fall to the floor. In
a flash of speed I catch her before she hits the mat, feeling my eyes turn
amber and my fangs emerge* Oh god Mouse are you ok? *Turning my attention and
anger to Tegan* This is all your fault, I told you we shouldn’t have done this!
Mira
Nicholas-Archer *Watching the exchange in shock, I slowly
catch my breath* It's okay...*breath* I'm okay! *I give Kellan's
forearms a squeeze to bring his attention back to me and away from a clearly
homicidal Tegan* You didn't hurt me too much. *his amber eyes finally lock with
mine* Please don't do anything rash, it would hurt me more if you were hurt.
Kellan Archer *Feeling Mira squeeze
my arm I turn back to her, feeling that she is hurt more than she is telling
us. Calming down some I pick her up giving Tegan one last look* I’m going to
take her to Tess, just to make sure she is ok!
