Elijah and Rio on Patrol

*The smell of burned tires announced our arrival at the scene. We had rushed to the place of the alleged drug transaction. Breed dealers were supposedly going to complete a big drug transaction here by the Potomac. Rio and I were dispatched to investigate and stop it by whatever means necessary. This was a completely black op, not even JUSTIS knew anything about it. It would be an absolute pleasure to deal with the breed scum trafficking in human misery.* Ok, Rio we are here. Let's do this.
Rio Atanacio *With weapons drawn they quietly approached from the hillside. Jumping from his perch above the group of dealers , he landed with barely a thud behind the men that hugged the darken alley. Before the male could bark out an alarm he crushed his larynx and disposed of the body in the river quietly taking the dealers place*

Elijah Breed *I grin at Rio's audacity. Apparently the Elder wanted to play... Using all of my considerable stealth, I break the necks of a couple of goons with a savage twist, then I take the bodies out of sight without making a sound. I place myself by Rio's side and nod. Game on, Rio*

Rio Atanacio *The leader of the operation stood tall among the humans and Breed dealers pacing back and forth in front of the crates stacked neatly on dock. Motioning for Elijah to follow him he made his way towards the red headed male.* Excuse me, por favor. *The male glowered at Rio . {What the hell are you doing here?} Halting at arms length from the Breed* Well my friend. I heard there was a gathering here and I was sent to check your permits.

Elijah Breed *Holding a Glock in each hand I sneer at the Breeds gathered around* I wouldn't attempt to get your weapons if I were you. I'm already pissed off at having to interrupt my weekend plans to deal with your sorry asses... Where are the drugs? Do yourselves a favor and hand them off ...

*A Breed dealer tries to jump on me and I fire one of my Glocks at his head* Now, does anybody else have any more cute ideas?

Rio Atanacio *The group scattered and hid leaving only the carrot topped male to deal with. Propping his foot on the box his fangs flashed and his eyes narrowed.* You know amigo, I know you don't have permits and you're dealing shit that destroys lives. And like my partner I'm none too happy to be here. So, you have a choice. Leave these boxes with us and live or you can die. You decide.

Elijah Breed *I stare at the Breed drug dealer trying to read his expression. We wanted to find out so many things...who was the real boss of this operation and what would be their next move. However I had the strong impression that this breed would not be making things easy for us. I aim my Glock point blank at the center of his forehead* Look, everybody has better things to do than playing Mexican stand off. Hand in the drugs, tell us what we need to know and things will work out fine.

Rio Atanacio *The drug dealer locked eyes with the scarred warrior and pulled out a small silver ball. {Tell your pup to back off. Do you think I'm some wet behind the ear kid? Tell him to drop his gun!} Looking back at Elijah, he ordered him to stand down. When Eli had stepped back into the shadows he turned his attention back to the male.* Interesting little ball. Mind if I take a look? *The male growled {Are you crazy man? You walk into my party and disrupt it and think we are just going to chat like we are old friends?} Chuckling* I"ve been called worse than crazy and I've crashed bigger parties than this. I'm not your friend, I'm the angle of death. * Lunging at the male they fall to the ground. Grasping the man's wrist his squeezes until the ball falls and rolls down the wooden planks. * Eli! Retrieve that silver orb. *His opponent wiggles from beneath him and scrambled for the rolling ball. Grabbing the dealers ankles he directed his death energy into the Beard. There was a brief struggle and then stillness. No sounds but the footsteps of his partner who now stood above him. Releasing his grip, he stood* Careful with that marble bro, we don't want any fire works tonight.

Elijah Breed *Im grabbing the orb absently...another thing has captured my attention. I remove a card that had dislodged from the dead dealer's pocket while he was fighting Rio * WHAT THE HELL? Are you fucking kidding me ? *I flip the card so that my partner can see it.*

Rio Atanacio *Letting out a deep breath he runs his hands through his hair* Damn. They are really taking roots. *Pocketing the card he and Eli toss the totes in the river.* Let's get out of here. It will soon be sun up. I'm sure Niko Breed will be interested in that little ball your pocket and Lucan will want to know what happened here tonight.

Elijah Breed *Rio's words remind me of the small, shiny orb in my pocket and suddenly I'm curious about why would Niko be interested on it. Taking it out of my pocket I take a good look at it. It seems harmless.* You mean this? What the hell is it anyway?

Rio Atanacio *Chuckles* You might want to handle that with care and keep it away from your family jewels. It's liquid UV.

Elijah Breed *My eyes widen as I hear Rio's words and then I start laughing heartily* And you tell me just now? Thank God I didn't do anything to activate it... Come on, let's return to the compound. I'm very willing to hand off this little toy to Niko. *Still laughing at what could had been our certain deaths, we get into our vehicle and head back to the compound*

{Colliding Paths} Sharing with Tavia

Tavia Chase
May 15, 2016

*Grabbing her keys, she left the suite she shared with Sterling and made her way to the garage. She was looking forward to some much needed sister time with Elise. Unlocking her Jeep, she turned and saw Elise walking toward her.* Hey there! You ready to go?
Elise Chase *Smiling as she nodded, she slid into the front seat of Tavia's car.* More than you can imagine. Plus I needed a chance to wear my Mother's Day gifts. *She pointed toward the earrings that matched her eyes.*

Tavia Chase Those are beautiful! *Pulling out of the drive, they headed into the city. They talked about places to eat, deciding on a Bistro near The Dome. Parking, she grabbed her bag and met Elise on the side walk.* I've heard good things about this place. I've been wanting to come here. *Looping her arm through her sisters, she smiled* And it will give us a chance to catch up. I feel like its been forever since we've talked.
Elise Chase Thank you *She linked her arm through Tavia's and prepared herself for the onslaught of voices. Tuning almost all of them out now, she grinned as they walked in and were seated. What a difference her gift was now.* It's been too long. Especially since you now have a son in law.
Tavia Chase I know. I'm still trying to adjust to that. He is a good man, and good to Carys. He makes her happy, which is the most important. *Placing their drink orders, they took a minute to make their choices. After handing the menu's over, she smiled at Elise.* Of course, I gave him the "you hurt my daughter, you'll answer to me" conversation. It was fun to watch him squirm.
Elise Chase I can only imagine. I keep teasing Micah about grandchildren but in reality, I am just teasing. I want him happy whether he finds a mate this decade or takes a few. It's easy to want everyone around us to have what we have. *Looking over the menu, she decided on an entree then looked around the restaurant. She could see the Dome through the tinted windows and couldn't stop the slight shiver when the memory of her last trip flooded her mind.*
Tavia Chase *She watched her sister shiver and she turned to follow her line of sight* What is it Elise?
Elise Chase *Returning her attention back to Tavia, she shook her head.* Last time I went shopping I had an unfortunate run in while at the Dome. I've not said anything because I really didn't want to be on lockdown.
Tavia Chase *She watched Elise carefully, shifting closer in her seat. If Elise was worried about a lock down, then it had to be something serious.* What happened Elise?
Elise Chase *Sighing, she looked down fiddling with her napkin. It actually felt good to be telling someone.* I literally walked into Mr. Declain. That business partner of Dia's. I'm not really sure how it happened. It was like I heard his thoughts and tried to move away but we collided. The thoughts were horrid but his touch was worse.
Tavia Chase *She watched the expression of relief wash over Elise's face as she began to speak.* He probably put himself in your path, if he is anything like his partner. Did he hurt you? *She knew there was something else weighing on her sisters mind. The waitress appeared, bringing their food. She told the young lady thank you, waiting for her to leave before speaking again.* What else happened? I get the feeling there is something else on your mind.
Elise Chase He blocked the voices. He is different and I don't know. He wouldn't let go to begin with. I think he was thinking of taking me but then told me to run. I couldn't leave fast enough. *She shook her head to clear the memories, dreading the next question about how she had avoided telling anyone.*
Tavia Chase *She reached across the table, supporting her sister* Elise, why didn't you tell anyone? *She couldn't even imagine the fear that her friend faced.*
Elise Chase We know he is here or around. Telling everyone would only put me and everyone else on tighter security. It was a one time thing and I should have taken someone with me. It wouldn't be just Tegan either but the whole group. You know what I mean?
Tavia Chase I do know what you mean, and when you put it that way, I can understand why you didn't say anything. We shouldn't have to worry about taking an entire entourage with us to go shopping. I do think you should at least tell Tegan what happened though. *She squeezed Elise's hand, and smiled* I'll go with you.
Elise Chase *Returning the squeeze, she smiled at the GenOne across the table then laughed lightly.* Thanks for the support but you really don't want to be there during that conversation. Sterling would be after me then too. But you are right, I'll tell him soon.
Tavia Chase *She watched Elise relax a bit, getting the weight of what happened off her chest* Sterling would have something to say, but I can take him *Laughing together, they finished their meal, talking about things going on a the compound and all of the kids. It felt good to laugh with her sister.* You ready to head back?
Elise Chase *Feeling lighter than she had in days, she nodded.* Thank you,Tavia, for getting me out and convincing me to do the deed. We need to get out more often, all the breedmates really. *Tav kept the conversation light on the way back to the compound and they made plans for a movie night to invite everyone to.*

Julian, Torin, and Jax on Patrol {Dealers of Death}

*Gathering up some weapons, I made my way to the garage to meet Torin and Jax. We were eager to get out and check on the town tonight, since the recent killings in city had kept us all busy and on high alert.*
*Clasping Torin's hand, then fist bumping Jax* "Let's see what we can find tonight, I'm tired of these death dealers having the upper hand." *Tossing Torin the keys, I hopped in the front*

Torin Matthews *Catching the keys, he put his backpack in the back of the truck. * I think we need to check out the market district. It's full of people this time of night, and no doubt the dealers will be around looking for their next kill. *Pulling out of the garage, they made their way down town. Knowing the city well, he parked in a dark alley just south of the market district. Checking his weapons he had on him, he grabbed his pack. Nodding to Jax, he followed the breed male, Julian behind him.*

Jax Breed * He knew this part of the city well, he had patrolled here many times. It didn't take long for the three of them to get to the market district and after scanning the area, he turned to Torin and Julian. * Lot's of civilians tonight, and a few of them are children so, if we do encounter these Death Dealers, we need to get them as far away from the humans as possible.

Julian Webb *Scanning the crowd* I agree with that, we need to catch a break with these guys. *We stuck to the plan, walking around the market district, looking for anything off. We had been there for twenty minutes when a scream filled the air. With the smell of fresh blood blowing in the breeze, we all took off running. In the alley there was a rogue tormenting a female* Hey, you need to pick on someone your own size. *He flung the woman, I moved quickly to catch her while the others moved in*

Torin Matthews *Waiting til Julian had the female out of the way, he pulled out his blade and took a step toward the rogue* You're play time is up suck face. *Moving in, he ducked as the rogue took a swipe at him. Standing, he caught the bloodsucker in the stomach and slicked his way up. Seeing a shadow, he shouted at Jax* 2 more behind you bro. *Taking the head of the first bloodsucker, he moved to help his brothers.*

Jax Breed * He turned, a shuriken in each hand. Faster than a human could blink Jax threw them, one slicing through the neck of one of the rogues and the other embedded deep in it's shoulder. Jax cursed and pulled his blade, anger flashing in his eyes. * One of the fuckers got away! * He and Torin looked towards the far end of the alley as Trash cans and other debris was thrown about. * I think someone is pissed..

Julian Webb *Applying pressure to the human's bite wound, I looked up seeing the one running, as well as throwing a tantrum. Pulling my gun I fired a sure shot, hitting him in the back of the head* Correction, one thought he got away! *Helping the woman up, I sent her to the clinic nearby as we did clean up. Checking the pockets of the rogues we took out, Torin caught the scent of death near by. We made out way to the next block to find a body, that was missing a head. Finding the signature card of the local dealers of death pinned to the corpse's shirt*

Torin Matthews *Kneeling next to the body, he looked at the card. It was the exact same that had been on the others.* Maybe we are going about this all wrong. The Dealers may be using the rogues as a cover. It's no secret how the Order deals with the blood suckers. It would be the perfect time to strike when we are otherwise occupied. *Taking out his phone, he snapped pictures to share with Gideon*

Jax Breed * Torin finished with the pictures and removed the card, handing it to Jax who put it in a baggie hopefully to get some fingerprints. They made quick work of cleaning up the rogues so that this altercation didn't end up on the humans six o'clock news. The trio made their way back the SUV and loaded up. * One of these nights we're going to catch those bastards . * There were nods of agreement as they headed back to the compound. The Death Dealers would be dealt with, just not tonight. *

(Whirlwind} The Kiss

aking black fluid down his face.* Didn't you follow him? *The male nodded.*~Yes sire we did, but he just vanished.~ *Slamming his fist on the oak desk* Dude, people don't just disappear in to thin air. Get your sorry ass out of here find him, NOW. *The male backed away bowing then quickly fled the room. Pulling out his cell he punched in Aine's number. She answered after only one ring.* Ms. Declain to my office, I have a few questions for you.
Washington, District of Columbia
CityUnited States
Connie Di Bratto and Margaret Stagg have been here

Aine Declain *Smiling as I say good bye to the little old lady in front of me, I pick up my cell that had started ringing* Hello Dia. *Raising a brow at his clipped order. Looking at the phone as he abruptly disconnects the call. Sliding my phone into my pocket, I turn to Sam* I have to go to Mr. Rivera's office. I've got my phone if you need me. *Leaving the shop, I take the elevator up to his floor and make my way to his office. Knocking as I open the door and walk in* Hello darling. How are you today?
Dia Rivera *Turning at the sound of her voice, he motions for her to take a seat.* I'm not in the mood for pleasantries, Aine.* Taking his place behind the desk he calmly looks over at the female.* Word is your father is back in town. Have you heard from him?
Aine Declain *Raises a brow at him* You know as well as I do that if he wants to speak to me that he'll come to me. But that isn't something that I'm gonna hold my breath and wait on. *Stands up, annoyed that I was the last to know that my father was home* If that's all you called me here for, I'm sorry that you wasted your time.
Dia Rivera *He watched as she sashayed across the room to the window that overlooked the atrium, her hips gracefully swaying. Her voice was that of a siren, luring him to the jagged rocks. And in what seemed like slow motions he found himself beside her. Reaching out he lifted a lock of her silky hair.* Aine, I know that it has been difficult, what with your father coming and going without so much as a goodbye. And I didn't mean for the news of his arrival to upset you.
Aine Declain *Staring out the window, trying to keep my pulse in check. The sound of his voice in my ear and the feel of his hand in my hair, startles a gasp and slight jump from me. Without turning to face him, I give my clipped answer* I am far from upset. I have grown used to my father's flitting ways. I am well aware that I am not his keeper, nor would he like me to be. *Stepping out of his reach, I turn to face him* He is not mine, either.
Dia Rivera *Stuffing his hands in pockets he scolded himself for being distracted. He wondered why Meison was back and even more curious as to why he hadn't contacted his daughter. Perhaps she knew nothing but he wasn't going to take a chance that she might. He would use all his charms if necessary to get the information he needed. Sighing* I never meant to imply that you are his keeper. After all you are both adult. I only was trying to bring you the good news that your father is back. I know how much you have missed him. Please forgive me.
Aine Declain *Dropping my eyes to the floor, I shake my head* I didn't mean to snap. He frustrates me with his random coming and going. *Walking back across the room, sitting down in a chair* I did miss him, he's the only family I have. But I haven't been in contact with him.
Dia Rivera *There seem to be a hint of truth in her voice, but he was unsure if she would tell him even if she knew. He would be patience, reel her I slowly. Taking her hand he pulls her up to him, speaking softly he leans down towards her face.* Family can be over rated at times, but I know he is important to you and I my dear will find him and bring him in. *Brushes his lips against hers*
Aine Declain *My eyes shoot to his as he pulls me from my seat and into his chest. His eyes changed, but not to the red I had expected, but to a soft glowing amber. His softly spoken words confuse me, clouding my mind with uncertainty. The feel of his lips on mine making me freeze before melting slightly under the gentle glide. Pulling back, breaking the kiss.* Dia...
Dia Rivera *Caught by surprise, he barely hid his amazement at her strength when she pushed him away. Growling he cupped her face and kisses her possessively. For a brief moment she seem to mold into him, and he felt intoxicated. Sliding his hand he reach around her waist to pull her closer but was halted by a painful bite to his lower lip as she shoved him away.* Wha the HELL!!.??
Aine Declain *Searching his face and eyes, the confusion and anger written all over mine* You wouldn't come near me when I asked you to, but now that you're ready I'm just supposed to accept it? That's not how the real world works, Dia. It's not how I work. I'm not just gonna...*My rant is cut short as he grabs my waist, jerk ing me back against him. His mouth pressing hard against mine. I struggle for a minute before my mind melts and I surrender to his kiss. Sweeping my tongue across his lips, the slightly copper taste of a drop of his blood from my bite flares my taste buds, igniting a passion within me. Wrapping my arms around him, pulling him closer as the kiss deepens*
Dia Rivera *His mind was a swirl in confusion as their kiss deepened his gums aching as they emerged. He was quickly loosing control of the situation to this female. He needed to get control before he gave into the primal need that she was releasing in him. With all the strength that was in him he broke away.* Go! *She looked at him, confused. Stepping away he opened the door.* You are right this is not how the real world works. But in my world... there is no place for one such as you.
Aine Declain *My eyes go wide at his hateful comment. Turning, I rush from his office, heading for the elevator. Slamming my hand against the number for my floor, I bite my lip hard, willing myself not to cry. As the elevator doors open, I walk quickly to my apartment, locking myself inside. Leaning back against the closed door, I release the hold on my emotions. Tears streaming down my cheeks as I slide down to the floor. Drawing my knees to my chest, wrapping my arms around them. My head falls onto my arms and I cry. My sobs filled with hurt and confusion filling the quiet of my apartment.*
Dia Rivera He felt a twinge of guilt as she rushed out the room. Closing the door he touches his lip that still throbbed painfully. She bit him! Not that he blamed her. He knew hew was sending out mixed signals. What was it about that female that drew her to him? Pulling out his phone he dials, Satora and leaves a message that he will be gone for a few days to "Hunt". Grabbing the keys to his cycle his heading out into the night. He needed as much space between him and Aine as he could get*
