Compound: Cupcakes for Mira

Savannah Dupree   October 30, 2012   *in the kitchen making something to eat when I come across a recipe with a sticky note on it from Dylan <hey Savvy here is the cupcake recipe I was telling you about. I really think Mira will love them, I will be down in a while to help out with baking them, Dylan>*as soon as I finish eating and cleaning up a bit. I start gathering the ingredients for the cupcakes, setting everything out on the counter. I start mixing the dry ingredients in one bowl, wet ingredients in another. Hearing Dylan enter the kitchen, I look up and smile * Hey girl, just thought I would get started and save us some time; I really think Mira is going to love these, but we’ll make enough for everyone. *nodding as she walks over to the sink to wash and dry her hands before taking a look at the recipe then starts making the different icings we will need to decorate the cupcakes once they are done. Pulling out the cupcake pans I find the ones with the little kitten heads, rinsing and drying, greasing and flouring and placing them to the side. I mix the batter and pour it into the cupcake pans and place them in the oven*

Dylan Alexander *standing next to Savannah the egg-timer starts to ring* Seems like the first cupcakes are finished ! *Getting some gloves so I can touch the hot pan I take out the pastrys and put them on the table.* They already look good. I bet all of us will like them and they will be eaten within seconds !! *As I let the cupcakes cool down I go on doing the icing. After I've finished it and the second pan is in the oven Savvy and I start to decorate the cupcakes. Hearing someone enters the kitchen we turn around and see it's Mira. ~Hey Aunt Savvy and Aunt Dylan !! What are you doing ?~ I answer* You just came at the right time. We're baking cupcakes for the family. But they'll be a surprise for you. So hush hush get out of the kitchen little one !* ~But Aunt Dylan ! You know I'm nosey. Can I see or try something you're doing ? *Savvy shows her the bowl with the frosting and Mira directly puts her finger in it to try and rushes away. We both start to laugh* ~She's such a funny thing. I love her~ *Now we go on decorating all the cupcakes we have done and place them in the Kitchen so they can cool down until tonight when we will all have a nice Halloween.*

Savannah Dupree   October 30, 2012   *leaving Dylan in the kitchen to finish the cupcakes I grab a bottle of water and head out into the living room to sit and read my book until Gideon come back. As I make my way down the hall, I hear the front door open and close; I turn and see Renata coming in smiling at me, I greet her with a smile as well and stop to talk for a minute* Hi Ren, are you just getting from the darkhaven? <Hey Savvy, I was just going to look for you; we were hoping you could read this knife and tell us what you see. It’s a knife we took off of the gen one female,  Satora  and  Lucan wants to know as soon as possible anything that you find.> Ok let me have a look.*I take the knife and close my eyes and concentrate knowing that whatever I find out will be important* From what I can tell the knife has only been used as protection, she has never used it for anything malicious; I’m not getting anything else from it, I hope that helps you. I will see you later for dinner. *handing the knife back to Renata and give her a smile and continue down the hall*

Renata Breed ~taking the knife back from Savvy, sighing I nod my head~ Thank you Savvy, I will let Gid and Lucan know what you found ~heading to the lab I turn at the last minute remembering that Gid is still at the Darkhaven setting up his toys, tossing the knife into the air I head to the training room, smiling seeing the sign up sheet for Mira's training~

My little man hears the wind wiping around and quivers his little bottom lip.* I put my lips to his head and whisper ≈I know you are scared buddy but mommas got you≈ he begins to calm at the sound of my voice but his little fingers still have a death grip on my shirt.

Savannah Dupree  October 26, 2012   *in the kitchen; making something for dinner for myself and the ladies, when I hear Tavia come in. I turn around and see that she has the twins with her; I immediately stop what I am doing and go over and take Aric from her while bending over and giving Cayrs a little kiss on the forehead*Tavia it’s good to see you and the babies, I have been meaning to come by and see you guys but I have been so busy lately. *moving over to a chair with Aric I start to play with him* so how is it going with feeding them the formula?

Tavia Chase *smiling at Savannah Breed* Thank you so much I had my hands full there. I have been doing pretty well, just very tired lately. *kisses Cayrs softly* I am about to feed them now, they seem to be tolerating it well. Would you like to feed Aric? *walking over and warming up their bottles*

Savannah Breed: Sure I would love to feed him and by the way that are getting so big, it’s hard to believe that are only a few days old. *taking the bottle from Tavia and testing the formula on my wrist to make sure it’s not too hot, I give Aric the bottle slowly and watch as he begins to drink* Wow he really seems to be enjoying it and it will be good for you too and maybe you won’t have to feed them as much. *looking over at Cayrs to see that she to is devouring her bottle as well* Will you look at them go I think they are very competitive already.*laughing as I watch* Girl you really have your hands

Tavia Chase *giggles* Yeah they are little piglets and never sleep, I have not slept in three days. I have also noticed that they want to bite as well, so I am not sure when I will have to start letting them feed. They both are already so aware of everything. Thank you so much for helping me Savannah Breed.

Savannah Breed: Honey, you should have called someone to help you out with them, from now on I will come by to give you a break and I’m sure the other ladies will want to help out as well. Please call one of us if you need help again, we have all been so upset with the bombing and that other gen one female Satora that we have been neglecting you and the twins. *hugging Tavia*But that’s all going to change starting now.

Tavia Chase *hugging back* I think I am going to go out to the main living room and let the babies play in the playpen. I have just been trying to deal with everything myself, Sterling has been busy. I hate to bother anyone when everyone is so busy.

Tavia Chase *taking Aric from Savannah* Thank you so much for your help. *walking into living room and sitting on the couch* *yawning* I love you two so much, such good babies. *snuggling with the twins, I start to drift off to sleep*

Savannah Breed: *finally finished cooking I decide to go up to my room and take a quick shower before I eat. Walking into the living room I look over to the couch and see that Tavia has fallen asleep, smh* you poor thing*seeing that the twins were still wide awake and looking over at me I decide to take them up stairs with me. I write Tavia a quick note telling her that I have the twins and for her to just go back to her room and I will bring them by later, I pick up the babies and head off to my room laughing to myself*

*Feeling her absence even in my sleep, I wake to find coolness where Savannah should be filling my arms. I don’t sense her in the bathroom, calling out her name and getting no reply; I hop out of bed, throwing on some jeans and head out in search of her. As soon as I open the door, I find the aroma of bacon mixed with my mate’s scent. I Head off in the direction I know she will be*
As I enter the Kitchen, I see my beautiful mate at the stove; she looks over her shoulder at me, that beautiful smile I love spreading across her face. Crinkling up her nose and shrugging her shoulders like a kid caught sneaking candy, she giggles out a ..What can I say… I was hungry.
*stepping up behind her, I wrap my arms around her waist, nuzzling into her neck breathing in her essence as she laughs, playfully warning me not to get too close to the fire.
