Thinking to herself as she taps her lips <I know it's hard to think of a gift for our mates, who have all they want. Something exciting is in order here. How about sky diving? Or zip lining?   Alexandra Maguire *I laugh at her suggestions knowing he has done all of the above* You know as well as I how outgoing he can be, plus he can do all that with his hands tied behind his back. *shaking my head* like you said, something exciting, something he’ll least expect. I've done so much over the years that it takes till the last minute to think of what to do for him *stretched out on the chair, I enjoy the warmth of the sun*

He hasn't seen his parents or his brothers since they where born. > Sipping my drink < This is very good Alex, you must of dipped into Sav's private stash, I'll be sure not to tell her. We could have a private engagement in the dining hall with them, make it a weekend event. Aric and Nathan can show the twins around and you and Kade can show them DC. It would be nice to show them what the Order does and how much of an asset Kade is to us and our species. You should think about inviting his uncle as well.>

Yes, have his parents fly in and, and *I look over at her* I'm sorry, sis but I don't want this to be a big weekend event. Just a nice surprise dinner with them for Kade's birthday then a small gathering here at The Compound with the family. *pouring another glass of lemonade I spiked earlier, I sip* I'm so glade, I asked for your help to brain storm now I have the best gift to give to my mate. I hope this surprise makes him happy.

Hearing Gabby hurrying me along, I smile with the thought of the special surprise* Now for some fun

*Wanting to do something special for Jenna, I remembered that she had mentioned wanting to visit Greece someday. We can't do that right now, but perhaps I can bring Santorini to her. Picking up the phone, I call the renowned DC restaurant, Zaytinya, and ask to speak to the head chef, Michael Costa. After discussing the various menu options available, I arrange for the special dishes and wines to be made ready for pickup. Hanging up, I leave her a note where she'll be sure to find it.* "Meet me in the gardens at 10 pm tonight baby. Wear your prettiest dress. Love, B"

I then quickly finish the remainder of the preparations, gathering some of the best china, flatware, and stemware, along with table linens. All I need now is her. I head downtown to pick up the order.

  Jenna Darrow *Entering our suite after a walk with Alex, I spot the note on the table.*The gardens? A dress? Oh my wonderful mate, what are you up to now?*With a smile I head for my closet to find a dress to wear. Picking out one of his favorite dresses I head to the shower. After the shower I spreads lotion all over, closing my eyes I can almost imagine it were Brock's hands. With a smile I decide that two can play at his surprise game so I skip the rest and just slip the dress over my head and let it drift down my body, the silk draping in all the right places. . Checking the time as I put my watch on I notice that it is already time to go. Looking around to be sure I didn't forget anything, I head out the appointed spot in the garden to meet my Love.

  Brock Breed *Putting the finishing touches on the table, I turn as I hear Jenna coming down the path in a beautiful dress that is one my favorites on her.* Welcome to Santorini in DC, my darling! *Pulling out a chair for her, I lift the cover of one of the dishes* Only the best Greek food for you, my love. The first course is soup. This is Cretan Tomato Soup, with Greek yogurt, barley rusks, feta, and mint. *Pouring her a glass of white wine* And of course, the feast must be accompanied by good wine. This is Santorini Argyros Estate Assyrtiko '12. *Watching as she seductively takes a sip of the wine.* I remembered you wanted to visit Santorini Greece.   Jenna Darrow *Sipping my wine I let the fruity, and yet spicy, flavor slide down my throat as I lick my lips. Seeing his eyes spark with flecks of amber I chuckle* This is beautiful Brock. You spoil me.*Picking up my spoon I dip it into the steaming soup and lift it to my lips.* Mmmm, Questo è delizioso il mio amore. Come attenta ad andare attraverso tutto questo.*I finish the soup quickly, looking forward to what else my wonderful mate has planned for the evening.*

  Brock Breed *Smiling at her through an amber tinted haze, I bring out the next course. Slinging a white towel over my arm like a fancy waiter, I carry the small plates over to her.* Madame, for your pleasure, we have Broccoli Saganaki - broccoli with tomato, kefalograviera cheese, ouzo and feta, and on this plate we have Octopus Santorini - grilled Mediterranean octopus, marinated onions, and capers, with a yellow split pea puree. Your main course for your dining pleasure is Loukaniko Me Aginares. It's a grilled Greek pork sausage, with marinated artichokes, and roasted peppers. *Theatrically taking the silver domed lid off the serving plate and placing it in front of her.*

  Jenna Darrow *My mouth waters as the scent hits me.*Wow, this is...amazing. I don't know where to start my love.*Leaning up I kiss him softly on his lips. Picking up my fork I take a bite of the grilled octopus. Spotting the capers I carefully push them off to the side of the plate as Brock chuckles.*Not a big fan of capers, but the flavor they add to the octopus is wonderful.*I take my time tasting everything on the plate, except the capers, enjoying the quiet solitude of the garden. I watch as he refills my glass of wine.*Darling, are you trying to get me drunk and take advantage of me?

  Brock Breed *grinning at her comment* Why, my love - whatever do you mean? It's not a bad idea, but I felt kind of bad because I know you would like to visit Greece and with everything going on, I just can't take a vacation right now. So for now, this will have to do, but I promise you that we will get there as soon as possible. * Picking up her dessert tray, I present it to her.* For your pleasure, my lady, we have for dessert apricots soaked in Muscat, with vanilla yogurt cream and apricot sorbet, dusted with pistachio powder. Accompanied of course, by an appropriate dessert wine - a '12 Santorini Argyros Estate Assyrtiko.

  Jenna Darrow * I sigh in delight as he reveals the desert.*This is...*pausing I look for the right word*Perfect, my love. You have been working so hard recently with Mathias missing and everyone on edge. Just having tonight with you, that is enough. Every second I get to spend with you is enough. You are my heart, my mate, my best friend, my soul.* I blow him a kiss and pick up my spoon to taste the apricots. Moaning in ecstasy at the tangle of grape, apricot, vanilla, and the hint of nut that assaults my tongue.*Wow, you wouldn't think these would go together but it tastes incredible. And the wine, oh the wine is so delicious. Do you think we could put a couple of bottles away for another night? I could definitely get used to the taste. The spicy aftertaste is such an amazing surprise.* I slowly lick the last of the sorbet off the back of the spoon, watching Brock as I work my tongue around the edges. Leaving no doubt what I am hungry for now.*

  Brock Breed *Feeling her sharp little teeth break my skin, I inhale sharply at the rush of pleasure. Willing the lights around the garden to dim, I wrap my arms around her in the faint light. Holding her close and inhaling her scent, I know the feeling of pure bliss. Reaching out behind me, I swipe my arm across the table, sending dishes flying. Plenty of time to clean it up later.* Time for my dessert, my love.
