Compound: Washing Cars

*Grabbing a bottle of water, I head topside to find Aric Chase. He had said something about it being nice out today and he was going to wash his car. Grinning, I wonder if I can talk him into washing my car as well. The Garage doors are open, music blaring and there is my brother in the driveway hosing off his car.* Hey Bub! Wanna wash my car too?

  • Aric Chase *Hearing Carys over the music, he turns it down some*What? Wash your car too?*Looking over at the dirty mess that is her car he shrugs* Sure, but only if you help!

  • Carys Chase *Laughing, I set my water bottle down* Fine, it needs it bad too with all the salt from the roads over the winter and stuff. *Walking over to him, I elbow him playfully*

  • Aric Chase *grunting from the elbow, I flash her with the hose* Now behave! *He laughs at her glare*Pull it out and I will rinse it while you find another sponge.*Turning back to Dede he finishes rinsing most of the grime off and reaches for the sponge as Carys pulls hers along side.*

  • Carys Chase *Parking my car next to his, I make sure the windows are up and get out. Pocketing my keys, I head back into the garage to find a sponge and get my bottle of water. After drinking half of it, I set it down and join Aric by the cars.* Okay bub, found what I needed.

  • Aric Chase Great. Toss it into the bucket to soak while you rinse down your car. As you are doing that I will soap down Dede.*Handing her the hose he pulls the sponge out of the bucket and starts to scrub the dirt, grime, and salt*

  • Carys Chase *Doing what he says, for once....I toss the sponge in the bucket and take the hose. Spraying my car down, I try to get some of the dirt off the windshield and give up. It will have to bee scrubbed. As I walk around my car spraying it I accidently spray some water over onto Aric and laugh when he growls my name.* Sorry!

  • Aric Chase *shaking off the spray of water he arches a brow at the insincere "sorry" from Carys*Uh huh, SSssssuuuurrrreeeee.*He laughs as he finishes spading his car down and heads over to start on Carys'.*Would you rinse mine please Sis?

  • Carys Chase You got it bub. *I walk over to his car and start spraying it down, the whole time Aric is watching me.* Wha? It was an accident, kind of. *Laughing when he just shakes his head, I continue to rinse off his car.*

  • Carys Chase *Laughing* Probably. I just h cleaned it in a while. *I move around his car rinsing the suds off and making sure the tire hubs are clean. When I get close to Aric I spray his foot with the hose.* You had soap on you..

  • Aric Chase *jumping away from the cold water he growls and lunges for the hose* Likely story!*wrestling with her for control of the nozzle, it sends a stream of water right into his face. Coughing and sputtering he watches as Carysbacks away laughing*

  • Carys Chase *Laughing so hard I cough, I back away from Aric. He has that look, the one that got gum thrown in my hair when we were ten and the look that got me locked in a closet when I was twelve. * Bub..come on..You did have soap on you and it's your fault you nearly drowned yourself with the hose just now. *Making it around the car, I consider making a run for it.*

  • Aric Chase *Knowing what she is up to he spots her half full bottle of water on the ground. As she drops the hose and runs he takes off after her, grabbing the bottle on the way by. Twisting off the cap as he closes the distance, he turns it over her head as she tries to duck away.*HA!

  • Carys Chase ARIC! *Laughing and ducking as he empties my water bottle over my head. I pull free and race him for the hose. Both of us grab it and wrestle over it, each one of us getting sprayed in the face as we do,*

  • Aric Chase *Stalking towards her with a huge grin on his face, he picks up the hose* You are SO SCREWED now Sis!*Squeezing the handle he hits her full blast in the chest*You had some soap there.

  • Carys Chase ARIC CHASE! *Screaming and running around the car, soaked to the bone, my sandals squishing as I run.* I'll get you back! *Spotting the bucket of soapy water I pick it up* I mean it, bub...

  • Aric Chase *stopping on the opposite side of her car, he grins* I double dog dare you Sis.*Holding the hose aimed right at her*

  • Carys Chase *Grinning, my eyes flash amber as I judge the distance between us. Holding the bucket just right and watching him to see which way he will move.* Double dog dare me, huh? * I move fast and launch the contents of the bucket in his direction. When he turns to run It hits him in the back of the head, soaking him. I squeal laughing and run.*

  • Aric Chase *wiping soapy water from his eyes he growls and jumps over the car, landing right in front if her with the nozzle fully open. Snorting with laughter as she throws her hands up to ward off the spray. Stopping the water he pauses to catch his breath. He looks at Carys, water dripping off her chin. Her shirt and jeans dripping water and soap everywhere. Unable to stop himself he bursts out laughing again*You look like a drowned rat Sis!

  • Carys Chase *Looking down at myself and back at him I burst out laughing and wipe the water from my face, flicking it at him* You don't look much better, Bub! *Still laughing I hold up my hands.* Truce for real? We will never get done if we don't not to mention the mess we've already made.

  • Aric Chase *Taking her hand they shake on the truce.*Alright, I guess we've had enough fun for the moment. Let's finish this up so I can go change into dry clothes. Wet jeans aren't the most comfortable things in the world.

  • Carys Chase I know, right? * We work together and make sure his car is clean before tackling mine. As we wash the car we both laugh and shake our heads. We will forever be siblings and torture each other in different ways but one thing is certain. We dearly love each other and if anyone hurts the other they will have hell to pay.*~
