Status: Dia - Cold Day in Hell

*He slammed the door to his apartment and tossed the keys on the table. Damn proud of himself for averting that Valentine fiasco. Lesson learned never do a good deed. Thinking to himself { Silly human female blindly thinking that she would be able to trick me into being her boy toy. HA! That will be a cold day in hell!}*

Status: Tegan

* He had spent most of the evening going over the last three files. As he leaned back in his chair trying to think of different ways to train the new warriors. Raking a hand through his hair he stood up and walked out of the office. He needed out so he could clear his mind. His long black duster bellowed out around his ankles as he left the compound and disappeared down the streets armed with only his blades and glock.*

{Valentine's Day 2016} Valentine's Back Fire

*Tapping his card against my chin as I sit and think back in my chair and think. It had been a few days and I still wasn't sure what to do about the mysterious card left on Valentine's Day. Picking up my phone, I call upstairs to Sphere, a private and exclusive resturant here at The Dome.* Yes, Id like to make a reservation for tonight at 9 o'clock. Rivera. Yes, THAT Rivera. Thank you. *Dropping the card onto my desk, I pull out some cardstock I have and in my best handwriting, write out an short invitation and then fold it in half and tie it with a ribbon. Walking to the front door of Teardrops, I open it and look around, immediately spotting one of my guardians.* Take this to Mr. Rivera. I want to personally put it into his hands and then wait for a reply. Am I understood? *At his nod, I turn and go back into my office to do paperwork.*
Dia Rivera *Standing at the bar reviewing and order, he is approached by one of Declain's guards. Taking the card from him he dismisses him. The male shook his head and stated he needed a response. Growling he opened the envelope, an invitation to dinner. Pressing the card into the male's hands.* Looks like the female if offering me her vein for dinner, Tell her I'll be there.
Aine Declain *Looking up as the door to Teardrops opens and in walks the guard I sent to Dia.* "He said he would be there, but..." But what? "He mentioned that you were offering to be his dinner." *Busts out laughing, shaking my head* Of course he did. *Turning to walk into my ofdice, I pull out my phone and call the boutique a few doors down* Yes. I need a dress for tonight. Jaw dropping. And red. Blood red.
Dia Rivera *Finishing up in the bar he made his way up to the Sphere. The maĆ®tre d quickly moved towards him. "Ms Declain will join you in your private dinning room." Growling, Figures. Dismissing the male he enters the room. Typical, the female was late for her own date. Walking to the large window he paces. He didn't have all night. Looking at his watch he growled. I wait for no one. In a few short stride he was at the door. As his hand reached for the knob it suddenly burst open.*
Aine Declain *Smoothing my hands down the length of my torso, turning this way and that, looking at myself in the mirror* It's perfect. *Rushing out of the boutique, I take the elevator up to Sphere. Stepping into the restaurant, I am met before I can reach the hostess' stand* "Good evening Ms. Declain. Mr. Rivera has already arrived and is waiting." Shit! *Rushing past him, I hurry to make my way to the private dining room. Pulling the door open, gasping as I almost run straight into his chest* Dia! I mean, Mr. Rivera, please excuse my tardiness. Picking out my dress took a little longer than planned. *Stepping into the room, the door shutting behind me, I turn in a slow circle* I hope you approve of my choice.
Dia Rivera *Arching a brow his fangs pop from his gums. Damn he didn't realize how hungry he was. Clearing his throat. * Ahh, you look delic...beautiful. You really didn't need to go all out to serve me dinner
Aine Declain *Smirking at his comment, walking past him to take my seat at the table.* I'm so glad that you agreed to join me tonight. I arranged for you to have a special drink served. Now...may I ask about the card you left under my door?
Dia Rivera *Taking a seat across from the female he cocks his head to the side and shrugs* It was Valentines, your father is not around and you have no male in your life, so I thought What the hell. Make her feel special for a day.
Aine Declain *Raises a brow* Make her feel special? If that's all you were trying to do, your wording would have been much different. So now...would you like to stop lying to me and tell me the truth??
Dia Rivera *Draws his brows* The truth? Okay. I grew tired of my last donor. And I was looking for another willing donor that has no fantasy of being turned into a vampire. I wanted a safe female, one that is NOT a Breedmate. And you my sweet fit my needs.
Aine Declain *Narrows my eyes at him as I sit back and listen. My mind going a hundred miles an hour. Taking slow, deep breaths trying to keep my heart rate under control.* I'm not entirely sure how to respond to that, Mr. Rivera.
Dia Rivera *Grins showing the tips of his fangs* I know for a human it is overwhelming. But I'm told it is pleasurable for you and contrary to what you think. I can be generous and attentive and discreet.
Aine Declain *Thinks about his offer for a few more minutes, never once taking my eyes from his* I can assure you, that it is as pleasureful or painful as the biter wants it to be. I might be persuaded to consider your offer, but there would be very strict rules that would have to be agreed to and followed.
Dia Rivera *Stares at her intently* I'm listening.
Aine Declain There would be no one else. For any reason. It would seem as a committed relationship to anyone but the two of us. You would be expected to act like a doting, in love boyfriend.
Dia Rivera *He leans back in his chair their eyes locked. It wasn't unusual in the time since first dawn for Breed and Humans to be seen as a couple. Their relationship went no where considering the short life span of the Terrans. But that aside. Why would she need him to act the doting boyfriend?* I know nothing of being a doting boyfriend. You ask much of me.
Aine Declain I ask much??? *Laughs* You could drain me dry before I even know what's happening. I don't think my requests are too outrageous. *Leans forward, placing my elbows on the table, resting my chin on my hands* Besides, should I not get something out of this as well?
Dia Rivera *Burst out laughing* Female, let me counter offer. You seem to be more in want of a protector/boyfriend than I of a donor. If it is a boyfriend you need than the least I can do for my business partnered is offer myself to his daughter.
Aine Declain *Growls at his insinuation* I have no problems finding men to either date or satisfy my needs. I don't, however, have time to explain and reassure them repeatedly that I have to be monitored at the wishes of my father. At least if I am with you, I wouldn't need your goons following my every step.
Dia Rivera *Wicked grin* Then we have an agreement. I'll be boyfriend protector with no strings attached. Problem solved for you.
Aine Declain And you get fed and no drama. *Stands and holds out my hand* Just remember that part about no other girls. I am my father's daughter, after all. I can be viscous if crossed.
Dia Rivera *Pulls her to his chest and presses his lips to her soft skin. His fangs poised over the beat of her vein. Damn he was hungry. Tightening his hold he feels her tense and gasp. Releasing her he steps away* You're not ready for this Princess. As I said no strings attached. You will get your boyfriend and I'll feed from whom I please until YOU come to me begging me to take what I need from you. *With Breed speed he departs*
Aine Declain *Going willingly and relaxed into his arms, I knew that I trusted him not to hurt me. The press of his sharp fangs against my neck causes me to tense. My mind flashing back to when I was taken as a child. The sudden loss of heat from him as he steps back, has me looking up at him confused. Frowning at his words and his very quick retreat, I let out a huff. Signaling for the waiter, I ask for my dinner to be packed up to go. Walking over to look out the window as I wait. My eyes scanning the night before me. My heart pounding hard in my chest* Time to fight these demons. Once and for all. *Taking the bag from the waiter when he returns, I head for my apartment to relax, eat in peace and figure out my next move.*

Julian, Elijah, Rafe on Patrol {Part 2}

Snarling as they pulled into the garage, I had held pressure on the wound the entire way back to the compound. Looking into the eyes of Eli we both knew that Rafe had a major injury* We need to take him to the infirmary NOW we need to get him healed. *Dialing Mira* Hey there Capt, Rafe is hurt pretty bad, need you in the infirmary please. We need a clean up team on the area as well.

Tess Culver Malebranche *Slamming the phone down after Gideon lets me know something major went down tonight and Rafe was injured. Taking a deep breath, trying to calm myself so I can help my son. Hearing a commotion in the hall, I turn as the doors burst open and see Julian and Elijah carrying an unconscious Rafe.* Hurry, put him on the table and get out of my way! *Watching as they get Rafe on the table and step back. Looking down at Rafe, I begin to see how bad his injuries are. Locating the deep laceration on his side, I place my hands on him. I raise my head to the warriors standing on the other side of the table* Guys, I know you're worried but I need to concentrate so please get out. * As they make their way out, I place all my concentration on my son. Placing my hands on Rafe's injured side, I let my touch begin the healing process. After a few minutes, I begin seeing the cuts start to close. Finally all the wounds are closed, Rafe's breathing as evened out and he's resting. Leaning over Rafe, I whisper,* Rafe, son you're fine. You're going to be okay. Just rest now. *Stepping away from Rafe, I go into the hall where the guys have been waiting. Taking a deep breath,* Guys, Rafe is going to be okay. He's resting now. I want him to rest as much as possible right now so you all can come back later and see him.

Elijah Breed *I run my hands through my hair before joining them behind my neck. This was like a fucking nightmare and I could not begin to imagine Tess' pain at seeing her son badly hurt. When I hear her words I unclasp my hands and exhale the breath even I didn't know I was holding. Nodding at Tess I start walking out of the room, reaching for my phone and dialing Nathan's number. I needed to report back to him, Rafe was in his squad with me after all.* Nathan, Rafe was badly injured tonight... * I wince when he roars at me* He is out of danger know, his mom healed him. *Pause* Behind The Dome, Rafe was jumped by a rogue while fighting another... No, don't come here Tess just asked us out. Ok, I'll go to your quarters and deliver a complete report.

Dante Malebranche *I open the doors of the infirmary with a sharp mental command and enter hurriedly looking around the place.* Where's my son? Rafe?*When I finally see him I walk to his bed and run my hand through his hair. * Who the hell did this to my son?

Rafe Malebranche *I blinked my eyes open, feeling something in my hair. Hearing my Dad's voice, I turned my head and then struggled to sit up. I felt his hand on my shoulder, as he gently held me down on the bed. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a moment.* It was a Rogue Dad. Eli, Julian and I went out on patrol, and as I was taking a Rogue out, another got his blade into me. I should have been paying more attention to my surroundings.

Dante Malebranche We will talk about that later, when you are completely recovered. Rest now, son. *He had felt Tess' pain and dread through their bond and it felt like a knife to the gut* I'll find a donor for you, you must feed.

Rafe Malebranche *I just nodded* I'll be fine soon enough. I'm a Malabranche after all. And thank you. A donor would be really appreciated. Just take care of Mom. I think that healing me took more out of her than it should have.

Julian Webb *Walking in with one of the females that normally took care of Rafe* I brought Veronica she wanted to feed Rafe to help him recover. *Shaking Dante's hand as we walked out* They ambushed us, we only saw three, the other two dropped off the roof and stabbed Rafe from behind, Elijah killed them as I applied pressure and got him to the vehicle. Dante, I'm sorry that they did this to him, I should of scanned better or... *Dante cut me off* "you got my son home alive, you did fine"

Dante Malebranche However, when my son is fully recovered I expect all of you in my office to go over what happened tonight. I want to know every little detail of it. Good night, Julian.

~I slowly remove the toothpick in my mouth, flicking my tongue around the end of it ensuring I've got the right amount of attention.~ This will only hurt a little ~with swift movement I jam the toothpick under the nail of the person sitting across from me. Satisfied by hearing the high pitched cry of pain, I laugh and grab another toothpick from the container~ Marvelous Saturday night, isn't it?

Lucan Welcomes Connor Home

*He waits in his office for Connor to arrive* Gideon has made the arrangements for the young warrior's arrival from Scotland, and Gabrielle has made space for him in the single breed's quarters. He'll keep the meeting brief, he knows the boy is eager to get settled in for his extended stay with the family.

Connor MacConn * He stood outside the big Oak door. His gear slung over his shoulders, hesitant to knock on the door. His father had served under Lucan for hundreds of years. He never knew his father because he was killed before he was born but he knew his father's valor well because of the warriors that served with his father and because of his father's best friend, Malcolm. His fighting skill came natural he was often told but he knew that without his uncles and the man he now called da training he would not be the warrior he was today. Rapping the door with his knuckles he waits for Lucan's command to enter.*

Julian, Elijah, Rafe on Patrol {Part 1}

*After gathering some of my favorite weapons, I waited for Elijah and Rafe to head out for a patrol for the night. We had some leads on a few cases we were working on and our patrol would take us by the Dome. Dia Rivera has been a thorn in our side for sometime, I was hoping that one day we would find something that he would not worm his way out, but for now he was still here. Continuing to study the information, I had not heard Rafe arrive, reaching out and fist bumping him* Evening Rafe, you ready to go patrol? *He was itching to work tonight as I was*

Rafe Malebranche *I nodded* Evening Julian. Hell yeah I'm ready. It's been too long since we've headed out like this. Gideon's had a number of leads and it's about time we got to head out and kick some ass. *I turned my head as Elijah entered the room* Ready to do this Bro?

Elijah Breed Ready, willing and able, guys... *smirking* I really need to go out and kill something, I've had a week you guys wouldn't believe. Things were complicated back in Austin... *Entering the Hummer* Ready when you are.

Julian Webb *Driving through the streets of DC, we made it to an area just down from the Dome. Jumping out of the vehicle, we made our way quickly to the area where the dead body was found. Fangs lengthening when we turned a corner, the over whelming scent of coppery human blood filled the air* Damn guys, this way.

Rafe Malebranche *I growled low as the scent of human blood hit us hard. We followed it to the alleyway behind the Dome, and that's when we saw it. Eight humans bleeding out with a bunch of rogues lapping up their blood. Pulling out my daggers, I went for the closest Rogue. I knew Julian and Elijah could take care of themselves, and that these Rogues would be taken down without any problems.*

Elijah Breed *I grin savagely when I see the rogues... It was like they had a big "Kill Me" sign on their chests. Out of the corner of my eye I see Rafe unsheathing his daggers and running toward the carnage. Julian and I ; as trained lieutenants of our respective teams, assessed the situation and unfortunately for the humans we knew we would have to secure the scene first before Rafe could work his healing magic on them. I unsheathed my new titanium blades and jumped on the nearest rogue, slicing his throat cleanly. A spray of fetid carotid blood soils my clothes and I'm immediately disgusted by its stench* First blood is MINE !!!

Julian Webb *Moving quicker then the human's could see, I gripped the second rogue by his throat, lifting him from the human he had just bitten* You made a big mistake attacking humans in our town. *Throwing him backwards off the victim, she began to scream at the top of her lungs, fighting and kicking anything that came near her* Be calm, we are here to help you little one. *Slipping into her mind to calm her, I ripped the bottom of my shirt placing it on her wound* Hold this on there tight, do not let go okay? *She nodded at me and I turned just as the rogue came running at me, we crashed together fangs bared. Rafe had drawn his malebranche blades going after another rogue*

Rafe Malebranche *I growled low at the rogue in front of me, the rogue watching the flashing malabranche blades my father had given me the night of my first patrol. He dropped the human he was draining and stepped back, one of his feet sliding on the blood on the ground.* You've made your last mistake Rogue..... your life is now mine. *He lunged at me, trying to slice through my chest. It was easy to dodge his lunge, as I sliced through his throat from ear to ear. He gurgled as he drowned in his own blood and I turned to the next rogue*

Elijah Breed *I battle the next rogue, keeping my eye on Jules' and Rafe's location while I do. Something seems slightly off with these suckheads. They seem more organized and they are somehow harder to fight. I stab the rogue on his stomach, letting the titanium blade start it's inevitable deadly reaction and turn around looking for more rogues to dispatch. Jules is busy dealing death to another suckhead but there was a motherfucker rogue sneaking behind Rafe while he was fighting the one in front of him* Rafe, WATCH OUT!

Julian Webb *Dispatching the rogue I had been fighting, my head snapped up as Eli yelled for Rafe to watch out. Growling out, when the rogue dropped down behind Rafe stabbing him in the side lifting the serrated blade to cause as much damage as possible. He stabbed him several times hard and fast before I made it to him. Growling loudly, I ran over throwing the rogue off of Rafe, kicking him hard to break his leg, nodding at Eli when he ran over and took the rogue. I took my shirt off and applied pressure to the wound* Fucking bastards!!! *Lifting Rafe up, I continued to apply pressure, taking him to the SUV, calling the compound, thankful when Gid answered* Gideon, we ran into some issues on patrol, Rafe is injured, we are coming in now.

Rafe Malebranche *I gritted my teeth, my fangs grinding into my lower jaw, as I tried to breathe through the pain* Fucking Hell!!! Where'd that damned Rogue come from? *I knew I was going to need Julian and Eli to get me home. Hell, I was going to need Mom's help to help me heal up from this. I growled low and tried to keep from blacking out*

Elijah Breed *I escort Jules and Rafe back to the Hummer, keeping a vigilant eye in case more Rogues decide to drop unannounced. I don't like that Rafe is losing copious amounts of blood, even with Julian applying pressure to the wounds. There were damn too many of them...* Stay with us Rafe, we are getting you back to the compound.* With one worried look to Jules I drive like a bat out of hell to get our friend the help he so badly needs.

Elijah Breed *To be Continued*

Elise Chase
*The walls of their quarters were closing in on her. She almost wished for the excitement of those four months she had hunted minions and exacted revenge for Camden. Deciding she needed to head out, she headed to the closet and spotted her leather jacket. With a gleam in her eye, she slid it on then went to the dresser and took out her blades, strapping them to her thigh. Walking to the garage, she took a key for the motorcycle off the wall, pressed the button to open the door, and went straight for the bike. The helmet felt like an old friend. Tegan would not be happy that she was going out alone but he ultimately trusted her. She would deal with breaking the rules later.*
