Outing: Kade, Brock, Hunter, and Aric have a Snowball Fight

Brock Breed   *While the women are discussing what decorations to put where, I decide I'm going to exit stage left before they ask me to get up on a damn ladder. Rounding the corner, I run into Hunter and Kade.* C'mon guys - we gotta split! The women folk are talking about stringing up lights, and you know what that means! Let's go do something..... — withKade Breed and Hunter GenOne.

Top of Form
Kade Breed *eyes wide in panic* SHIT, you can't possibly mean... *looks around the corner and sees the Breedmates buried in strings of lights, fake santas, fluffy snow, and plastic reindeer. Turning back to Brock and Hunter* Fuck it, I'm out. Let's go.

Hunter GenOne *Not taking the chance of being seen, I follow my brothers outside.* We need to stay as far away from the house as possible *Heading to the stairs, I see Aric coming out of his room* Don't go down there man. The Breedmates are decorating, and we are getting the hell outta dodge.

Aric Chase *spotting Brock, Hunter, & Kade sneakin' down the hall he laughs* oh hell no! Bah freakin humbug! I'm with y'all! *following them out the back door*

Brock Breed *moving stealthily down the hall till we get past the Breedmates, then breaking into a dead run till we hit the back door. Pushing it open, going out into a shitload of fresh snow. Picking up a couple of handfuls, I form a huge snowball and sail it directly at Kade.* Ha! Here you go, bro!

Kade Breed *cringing as the snowball explodes on the back of my head sending ice cold flakes down my back* DAMN. Thought I was escaping the disaster *picking up a handfull of snow myself and launching it back, sucking in a breath as Brock ducks and it hits Aric in the side* Shit, sorry Kid.

Hunter GenOne *laughing at the scene, I wait until Brock isn't paying attention. Picking up some snow, I throw it, hitting him in the back. Ducking as more snow is thrown, I cover and start building my arsenal.*

Aric Chase *looking to get back at Kade he ducks behind a tree and starts rolling snowballs and setting them in a pile. Seeing Hunter doing the same I know this is going to turn into an epic fight. Hoping he survives it he starts lobbing snowballs at everyone*

Brock Breed *seeing the others gathering their ammunition, I figure I either need some better defense, or I need to create a distraction.* Dudes! We can build a fort, and decorate that for Christmas.... *ducking as another snowball comes flying by my ears* Fucker! *gathering up another wad of snow and lobbing it at Hunter*

Kade Breed Snowballs or snow fort *considers* snowballs, fort... balls fort...fuck balls...*nods* FORT *dives into a pile of snow and starts hollowing it out* Yo Hunter, you're used to digging holes, get your ass over here.

Hunter GenOne *Raises a brow* Don't you have a pack to dig for you wolf boy? *Diving out of the way of the flying snow, I help Kade clear away the snow. Stopping for a minute, I grab and snowball and launch it at Aric, hitting him in the face* DIRECT HIT!

Aric Chase *landing on his back from Hunter's direct hit he bounces back to his feet grumbling* fucker.*seeing what they were up to he gets some shovels out of the shed, tossing one to Brock and one to Kade he starts to shovel*

Brock Breed *Pretty soon snow is flying everywhere as we're digging away. Finding an old box, I hand it over to Kade.* Hey bro, make some snow bricks and let's build this bitch! *going around to the shed and finding some more plastic bins about the size of a shoebox, and brings back enough for everyone.* Take one fellas, and let's do this!

Kade Breed *Packing the box with snow then turning it over to leave a brick for our foundation. Satisfied with the look, I head out to pack some more snow* This shit is taking forever *glancing over and seeing Brock's box packed, I run over and switch mine out with his before he notices and add the brick to the first one* Epic

Hunter GenOne *Building up the back, I grab one of the boxes Brock had and started setting the bricks. Standing up, I moved back to see where to go next, only to have tripped over Aric landing on my back* Fuckin hell. Sorry kid. *picking up the box I started again*

Aric Chase *laughing as Hunter lands in a pile he drops his brick on the wall and reaches for the shovel. Filling the box again he spots Brock working on his. Unable to resist he digs a huge shovelful and dumps it on the back of his neck*

Brock Breed *as I feel the cold wet snow go down the back of my shirt, I yell out in surprise.* Fuck me running! Damn! *Picking up a huge wad of snow and filling the box again, I place that snow brick, and quickly grab two huge handfuls. Seeing Aric snickering, I figure he's the culprit. Grabbing the waistband of his sweats, I dump the snow right down his pants* There you go! All nice and neat....

Kade Breed *Poking my head out from the fort, laughing like hell when Champ goes down squawking about the snow in his pants* Careful kid, crack kills *crawling backwards back into the fort to work on the roof*

Hunter GenOne *laughing at the comment, I walk to the barn. Gathering what I need, I walk back and crawl in. Using the back of the trowel, I smooth out the snow on the wall.*

Aric Chase *growling as he pulls handfuls of snow out of his pants*. Filling more bricks he quickly finishes the back wall. Seeing Brock struggling with his side he moves over to help him out* If we wait for you to finish it'll be spring dude, get a move on!

Brock Breed *rolling my eyes at the youngster's comment, I begin building the side up at Breed speed while Hunter and Kade finish the inside walls and roof* C'mon, let's finish the walls while the other two are working on the inside. It's fucking cold out here!

Kade Breed *looking over at Hunter packing the inside of the fort* Dude, you'd think we dropped him in the middle of the fucking Arctic the way he bitches. *Slapping the rest of the roof together I crawl out and turn to survey our work* Hell, the fuck, yeah.

Hunter GenOne Right?!?! Maybe we should have Alexandra fly him up to Alaska for a while. *Crawling our behind Kade, I stand next to him looking at the fort* Hell yeah that looks awesome.

Aric Chase *standing back to survey our work he lets out a whistle* Sweet! *gathering the shovels and accoutrement he piles it back in the shed and follows the rest of them inside*

{Ashes to Mathias} - Mat meets Aine, Officially

Mathias Rowan  *Walking through the shopping corridors of the Dome, he shuddered thinking about the hordes of humans that had trampled through the area throughout the day. He had never understood the phenomenon but now might be the time to scout out the area and its security. He looked up, drawn to the sign with the crescent and teardrop on it. He decided it was time to get a little closer and walked through the door, inhaling more scents than even his Breed senses could sort at the moment.*

Top of Form
Aine Declain *Pushing the hair from my face as I replace the books that customers had left laying around the reading nook and left on different chairs. Hearing the bell on the door chime, I call out* I'll be right with you!

Mathias Rowan *Not bothering to answer, he scanned the small crowd still milling through the store. Nothing caught his attention so he moved on to the merchandise and was struck by the stunning beauty of some of the older pieces. He looked at one vase closely, it looked so familiar yet he knew he would have remembered it if he had ever seen it. Stopping himself from touching it, he looked over the store recalling the details from the Order's report.*

Aine Declain *Placing the last book on the shelf, walking to the front counter to ring up a customer. My eyes roaming around the shop. A tall, very handsome male catching my eye. Smiling and making small talk as I ring up and carefully wrap the customer's purchase, waiting for him to turn around. When he finally does, I recognize him from the Grand Opening. Making my way over to his side, putting on my best smile* Can I help you find anything Mr ? *raising a brow hoping he'll fill in the blank*

Mathias Rowan *Looking down into her face, he cocked his head to the side and smirked, holding out his hand and bringing it to his lips when she placed hers within his.* Mathias Rowan, at your service. Beautiful shoppe, ma'am.

Aine Declain *My smile widens at the kiss to my hand* Thank you, Mr. Rowan. I'm Aine. It's a pleasure to see you again. I was wondering when you would stop in. You caused quite a stir among the owners at the opening.

Mathias Rowan *He arched a brow at her comment.* Interesting, all I did was show up from the invitation. It is a pleasure to formally meet you. You always seem to be...surrounded in the past.

Aine Declain *laughs* Yes, I'm well watched. *gestures to all the cameras around the ceiling of the shop* So what brings you in tonight? Shopping for your mate?

Mathias Rowan *He nodded at the fixtures that he had already taken note of before smiling at her.* No mate for me, but yours must consider you a treasure. *His eyes narrowed at her familiarity with the Breed but instinctively knew she would not respond to any personal questions about her history.* Have you had any additional trouble with unwanted guests?

Aine Declain *shakes my head* A male, yes. But that would be my father, not a mate. *turns to straighten a display as I choose the words of my answer carefully* Word does get around fast sometimes. No, Mr. Rowan, I haven't had any more unwanted guests. And I pray, for their sakes, that they are never caught.

Mathias Rowan *Watching her intently, listening to her body language as much as the words she speaks. He is surprised the male is her father but manages to hide his reaction.* I am pleased to hear that there have been no other problems. *He removed a business card with his JUSTIS information listed from his wallet and handed it to her.* If you ever need help, I would be glad to be of assistance especially since I live in the complex.

Aine Declain *Holds back a smile, taking the card and reading it, my smile quickly fading. Slipping the card into my pants pocket, schooling my reaction* Thank you kindly, but my father, Mr. Rivera and Miss Razza provide all the help and protection I need. And some that I don't.

Mathias Rowan *Smirking and leaning in a little closer to her, he whispered in her ear.* I was not offering protection, Miss Aine.

Aine Declain *smirks, whispering back* If you can make it to the Penthouse unscathed, we'll talk about the services you'd like to offer.

Mathias Rowan *Arching his brow again, he picked her hand up and kissed the knuckles.* I see you like to live dangerously. Perhaps you will be seeing me again in the future. *He winked as he walked toward the exit.* Have a good evening, sweetheart.

Aine Declain *giggles walking back to the register to take care of another customer ~He's going to be a lot of fun to get to know better~ Handing back the change* Have a nice night. And thank you for shopping at Teardrops.

Patrol: Mathias, Gideon, and Malcolm

Mathias Rowan  *He stared at the contraption on the wall, cursing it for the tenth time. His team had gotten him on the property undetected, but he could not get in the gates. None of the passcodes were working. Someone's head was going to fucking roll when he got back to the office. Slipping his cell out, he dialed the number where he knew he could get help.* Hey man, it's Mat. I've got intel that a secret rave is going down tonight inducting new members into being Breed. I need to find out if its for real or a hoax leftover from Halloween. I'm on the property but can't get the damn security off to get inside. Help me out? — with Gideon Breed and Malcolm MacBain.

Top of Form
Gideon Breed *My fingers going to work on the keyboard in front of me, I have Mathias's location pulled up on the big monitor. Using the touch screen on the tablet beside the keyboard, I start running through code looking for the right set of binary combinations to get the electronic lock and allow him and his team in* Mat, this system is more complex than the run of the mill stuff. Someone went to extra lengths to make those grounds secure. ** look up as Malcolm Enters the lab, noticing I'm working on something he drops into the chair next to me to wait. With a nod of acknowledgement, I go back to My programs, cursing when I realize I might need to be hands on for this one* Mat, stand by, I think I may need to give your problem a little face time *Turning to Malcolm* hey man, you free for the next hour?

Malcolm MacBain *Stopping by the lab to check out the posted duty roster, he turns to leave when Gideon calls out his name.* I'm free, what's up?

Mathias Rowan *He could overhear the warriors talking and making plans to join him.* I'll be in the shadows waiting on you, Gideon. See you in 20. *Turning his cell off, he looked at the team that had accompanied him and stared at two of them.* You two, head back to the office NOW and I want a report on my desk when I return explaining why the fucking codes you gave me didn't work. *He shook his head as they scampered off, too young to be in the field. The remaining recruits stared at him wide eyed.* I want details on every window in the house. Who and what you can see and you better make it back before our help arrives.

Gideon Breed *following the GPS to Mat's location, Malcolm and I laugh as we discuss being witness to Carys and Aric's little drama play out in the garage over who was driving tonight, and Mal grudgingly pays up the twenty bucks I bet on Carys winning the argument. When we arrive at the location, we slip into business mode, Mat steps from the shadows to meet us and we wait for his recruits to report back.

Malcolm MacBain *Sliding a blade from his boot he looks around. This wasn't the best area of town from the looks of the surrounding structures. His Breed hearing picks up the sound of crunching gravel as two dark figures emerge. Tossing his knife within inches of a leather boot he growls* That's far enough ladies.

Mathias Rowan *He shook his head at the apparent ineptness of his team. The whole damn lot of them were going back through JUSTIS 101 Rowan style. Bumping fists with the warriors, he listened to the reports of the recruits then dismissed them to guard duty if anyone else showed up.* You two want to join me in breaking up the little party going down in there?

Gideon Breed *Grabbing my bag from the back seat, I follow on Mal's heels, the concrete under our boots turning to gravel then weed ridden grass as we near the perimeter. Mathias's obvious disappointment with his trainee is apparent as they slink off to where ever he's sent them. Getting down to business we silently follow him to the security box. Quickly locating the cloning devise, I make short work of the re-wiring and have the device hooked in and doing its job in under one minute, now we wait while it tries to break the encryption and clone the security codes. Malcolm and Mathias both stealth around the grounds outside the gate making sure all is secure while I finish up*

Malcolm MacBain *Wiping his blade off, he slips it back into his boot. Shaking his head in wonder as Gideon works his magic. Hearing the soft click of the lock, he follows Gid & Mathias through the gates as they start to part. He listens with relief when no alarm goes off and Mat’s men fall in quietly behind them. They move through the grounds, staying in the shadows. Gideon pulls out another of his gadgets staring at it for a few minutes, then gives a nod for the all clear; the three warriors take position on the large front porch of the supposedly abandoned building letting mat’s team fall in. One of the new recruits has taken a position at the entrance of the dark building with them. They can all hear the thrumming of a hard musical beat coming from somewhere deep inside the building, even though the outside remains in its quiet abandoned state. *Mat I sure as hell hope you have a plan, cause if these kids are armed and your green horns start shooting, *chuckles* Well let’s just say my misses will be beside herself and Savannah will take your hide to the wall for not having an escape plan.

Mathias Rowan *Shaking his head, he looked back at his team.* If you shoot first, you won't be leaving this property. The sun will take you at dawn. *They nervously nodded and he looked at Gideon.* The Order needs to start a training school. I need to know if this is for fun or real. Youngling one and two report only about fifteen kids in there. I think we can take them. Scare them a little if it's stupid fun and if it's real, trance them until I can get the human authorities here. No weapons were visible, only tattoo guns. Back up can be here in 5 if needed. Ready?

Gideon Breed *sliding a hand under my jacket, I roust my M9 from it's holster, using my thumb to flick the Beretta's safety off. I nod to Mat then follow him inside. If his newbie's intel is correct and there are only 15 human kids in this place I'll have no need of the weapon, but a good ambush is always made to look like a cake walk, so We're not taking any chances. It's times like these that the gift my breedmate mother gave to me could be invaluable. Silently we make our way through the upper level, Malcolm gives the all clear and we descend into the bowels of the building*

Malcolm MacBain *Silently following the other warriors, he brought up the tail of their little party and kept watch on their backs. The music that thumped from the basement masked any sound but they were careful to move with caution. They froze as the hinges on a door in the hall squeaked and three teen-aged boys spilled out of the room, too doped up to even notice their presence. He scoffed.* They shouldna be so ignorant of their surroundings. This will be a cakewalk compared to dealing with reivers 'n Scotland.

Mathias Rowan *He looked back at their group.* I think you might be right. Perhaps we should put a little healthy fear of the Breed into them tonight. Gideon, can one of your gizmos cut the lights? *He grinned and walked forward as Gid nodded. The next room had a low drone buzz, a sound he had become familiar with over decades of First Dawn. A tattoo gun. The activities in that room would set the tone for the rest of the evening. Were they in there voluntarily or being held against their will? Were they Breed wannabes or something more cynical? Nodding, he turned the handle and stepped to the side out of the way of any weapons being fired. The ensuing silence was unnerving.*

Gideon Breed *Stillness. After the three count, I step through the door way, my senses on high alert as I scan the room, no one here looks like they will be much of a threat. The human with the tattoo gun pauses in his work, which I see is an elaborate set of tri-colored fake glyphs that he is marking onto a young boy's skin. My fangs drop from my gums and I see the glow of my eyes reflected off my glasses as I close the distance in a blur of movement, I lift the kid along with the artist from their sitting positions, letting their feet dangle in the air, the look on their face , priceless as I stare them down* You're bloody kidding me with this shit right? tattooing glyphs on? Sorry assholes, they don't come that easy, *dropping the artist to the floor an a heap I lift the kid higher* You have a death wish boy? *Suddenly a heated sensation burns the side of my face slightly, I turn to scan the room for the source of the heat, seeing nothing until a silvery puddle on the floor catches my attention. Handing the kid and the tattoo guy off to Mathias's recruits, I head over to the puddle, the heat becoming more intense, but tolerable as I approach* Hey Mal, Mat, better get your asses over here. if this is what I think it is, there could be some serious shit going down in this place

Malcolm MacBain *Keeping the blade in his hand, he walked with Mathias over to where Gideon was crouched down on the floor. Seeing the muddied liquid on the floor, he took a step back as he felt the heat.* What the hell is that? It might be time to wrap this little venture up and do some checking on this place. Mat, should we give these boys some new memories and plans for the future?

Mathias Rowan *He eyed the mess Gid was dealing with and shook his head, glad that it was not his team dealing with the evidence. The heat from the source made him uneasy and his gut told him there was more to this situation. He looked at Malcolm and nodded.* Let's question a few of them and find out if this is their regular hangout and who is in charge. *He walked up to the older of the two in the room and flashed his fangs before asking questions. The smell of urine permeating the room backed up the boy's nervous answers that there was a leader downstairs and he always told them where to go. He and his buddies would meet up, have a few drinks, smoke, ink up, and ransack the place. As his recruits started wiping the memories, he turned to the Order.* Sounds like a cover up to me. Let's go downstairs and find this leader.

Gideon Breed *After the kids are taken care of, we navigate through the narrow halls to the stairway. I hold up a hand showing 4 fingers, as the sound of muffled voices bounces off walls and carries to me. I hear four distinct voices coming from just below us past the stairwell landing. Malcolm's hand on my shoulder gives me the big "roger that" that I need to move forward. Hitting the bottom floor of the building, we are able to spread out again, the three of us move soundlessly toward the double doors. I make eye contact with my brothers before counting off to three, then break down the doors with a sharp kick placed just under the locked knob*

Malcolm MacBain *He palmed his weapon, his eyes trained on the room before him as the door fell away. He looked over the four inhabitants of the room and his gaze strayed to the one stretched out on the couch. His vacant stare, giving away his true identity. Minion.* Shit just got real, laddies.

Mathias Rowan Fuckers! *A fucking minion. That meant there was more to this than some kids wanting to be a Breed. The three humans were high enough to think they could tangle with them and he was happy to oblige. Taunting one by crooking his finger at him, he let his fangs elongate. He was disappointed when the little fellow went down with one blow from his palm to the human's nose. Shaking his head, he looked over at Malcolm who had already dispatched one and was working on the other. He bent down to wipe the memories, laying his hand on the kid's forehead when he heard Gideon scoff. Glancing up, he was struck by the legend of the sight before him.* Well, damn.

Gideon Breed *Tracking the minion from the second I cross the threshold, I feel his hatred for me and my kind like an electrical pulse that fills the room. He launches himself towards me, barreling across the room at full speed, my brain tries to make some sort of logical sense of why he is in such a hurry to die, but none the less, I have no problem granting him his wish. My hand reflexively goes to my nine, but I decide he isn't worth the bullet. As he reaches where I stand, a short maniacal laugh erupts from my throat as he bashes into my body head first, the force of the blow opening a gash on his right cheek. He stumbles backward, stunned from the force and tries to shake his head clear. I stalk him through an amber haze, I know that what can be seen of my glyphs are churning black and deep red, I feel my fangs as they punch through my gums, this once human turned minion bringing out all that is Breed in me. Lifting him off his feet, my palm tight around his throat, I ask for his master’s name, and squeeze unyieldingly when he croaks out nothing more than a laugh. Snarling I squeeze tighter, knowing the piece of shit would rather die than betray the one who owns him. When he goes limp in my hands I drop him to the floor, the thud resounding through my head as I resist the urge to kick him to death where he lies.

Doing a three sixty to check the status of my team, I sense the stir in the air as the minion behind me shifts his position on the floor, spinning back, I break left and the knife flies wide and to the right of me, in a flash, he is off the ground and in my hands again, this time the distinct sound of his spine being severed is the only sound I hear. As his body hits the floor again, I don’t need to worry about turning my back. I check Mal and Mat who have taken care of the young humans, then scan the room, finding the source of the puddle we found earlier. An entire set up for making ammo, 10 Dillon 650 progressive presses, industrial shell plates, Dies for at least four calibers and the intestines to turn out hundreds of bullets per day. I look around for where the deadliest ingredient for the Breed is stored, and smile when I see three gallon sized sealed containers on the floor under one of the work benches. I’ll need to hit the SUV and gear up before I can remove the containers. I call for Mal and Mat to take care of the rest, informing them of the dangerous containers, then head top side to change and put a call into Lucan*

Malcolm MacBain *He nodded as Gideon walked out, the minion dobber deserving the solid blows delivered. Mathias indicated to his two lackeys that they were on clean up duty. After they made sure the humans were well on their way home with no memories of this place, they searched the rest of the house finding it vacant.* I ken the stuff would show back up. It will be interesting to see what we piece together from all of this. Mathias agreed and they stood back and watched as Gid collected all the evidence. It wasna hard to believe that an innocent rave turned out to be a front for another plot against the Breed. Now to find out who was behind this latest scheme.*

{Lessons} Satora

Satora Razza  ~Another floor of apartments had opened up and I was reviewing the waiting list. Our screening requirements for living there were strict but it was necessary to prevent people we did not want. An old contact of Dia's from the Agency had contacted us about an opening or Mathias would not be living there. The contact had paid dearly for his subterfuge. My mind drifted back to my last sword session, remembering some of the moves and tips Meison had shown me. His offer of help was a mild shock and I wondered what his motives were. Regardless, I would take the information and anything else I could find out on our new partners.~

Status: Mathias

Mathias Rowan   *More intel came in daily on people being plain out stupid. He was frustrated with the current unit assigned to him. They were too young and too inexperienced to handle the major stuff and he was forced to spoon feed them their assignments. Throwing the folder on his desk, he stood and walked to the window, pacing as he wondered what he should do. He raked his fingers through his hair and changed his direction of thought to the opening at the Dome. Something was off. Shaking his head, he mumbled.* Too much to fucking do.

Status: Gabby feels Lost

Gabrielle M. Thorne   *Pulling her NorthFace on she walks towards the doors, needing the feel of night air against her back as she walks her normal trail. Her mind swimming with ideas for the holiday coming up, mostly thoughts about family on her mind and all that entails. She never stopped long enough in life to really wonder where she came from. Should she of? Honestly she never really wanted to, never wanted to know why her mom went crazy. Sure she knows now, but that never pushed her to know before this night. With Dare and her Luc, a nagging weight is on her to know more. But how does one do that. Yes there is the internet, and Lucan's government connections....maybe that's where she'll start. Making a mental note to sit with Gideon and see what he can pull up with his genius brain she heads out.* — with Lucan Thorne.

Top of Form
Lucan Thorne *Tracking his mate as she leaves the house and enters the grounds, he closes his eyes, absorbing the range of emotions that run through her. He waits for her mind to clear and allows her final emotion to flood over him. The melancholy and sadness that settles over her brings him off his chair, he grabs a blanket from the family living quarters as he passes through on his way out. He navigates quickly through leaf clutter, soundless in his pursuit of Gabrielle. He stops short when he sees her standing in the moonlight, her arms wrapped around her for warmth as she leans against their tree, staring at the cloud covered star lit night. Stepping in beside her, he wraps her in the blanket and pulls her into his arms. With a single touch and without a word exchanged between them, he feels the sorrow ebb away as a flush of happiness rushes through her*

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Her eyes widen as her mate wraps them in a warm fleece blanket, knowing how she felt and what she was thinking there is no wonder he sought her out. He cant handle her grief and heavy thought, he needs to know she's happy and taken care of. Smiling as she looks into his gray sparkling eyes and tracing a finger over his lips as he gives her a smile* Well, look at you....out here with me in the cold dark night. Mr. Thorne, you're still my knight in shining armor after all this time..*Standing on her tipi toes she leans up and kisses him softly* You my sweet husband can save me any time you want to. *Placing her head on his chest and sighing* You know just when to find me don't you. Just when to make me see what life has given me. I love you Lucan.

Lucan Thorne *Letting the smile reserved only for his mate cross his lips and spread into his eyes, he returns her soft kiss and wraps her more snugly in the blanket* Whatever it is that has given you the heartache I felt a few minutes ago, I need to fix Gabrielle. Whatever it is, I'll do anything necessary to make it better, but first I need to know what we are dealing with, when you feel like talking, I'll be right here. *He leans down laying a kiss on her head, pulling her just a little bit closer*

Gabrielle M. Thorne Baby, I have achy thoughts about my mom, about my adoptive parents...about what my life was and who is out there related to me. We have this amazing life, a son that is crazy intelligent and the ability to give him not only his breed history but his human history, and from what I can tell some Atlantean history very soon. I hurt a little in here *placing her hand over her heart* and my thoughts go nuts. I'm not saying I want a relationship with anyone from my past, but I'm also not saying I wouldn't welcome it. I'm lost a bit love. *holding him closer, wanting him to figure it all out for her she closes her eyes and wonders*

Lucan Thorne *Feeling the anguish that gnaws at her heart, he pushes against it with his will, closing his eyes and remembering a short seventeen years ago,... him holding Dare high above his head, running and spinning him, while his son giggles and laughs, making the most amazing sound he had ever heard. Gabrielle chasing them and letting her own laughter tumble over and mix with theirs, her camera snapping off pictures as they traveled through the yard, finally ending up at the huge leaf pile they raked up, where he crash lands their son into the crisp bank of leaves. He pushes with his mind, allowing the memory to flow from him to his mate. She turns to him throwing her arms around his neck and kisses him all over his face, he laughs and pulls her off her feet as she squeals and continues the kissing routine* Don't worry mate, we have the best minds possible including our son working on it. Soon, we'll have all the answers you need.

Gabrielle M. Thorne *The joy she feels pulsing through her as his memories take hold. Her heart positively singing with love and family as she looks to him* Baby, Do you remember when Dare pulled you back into those leaves...What I did? *Pushing him playfully back into the pile around the tree she straddles him, lifting and dropping leaves around him laughing as he tries to dodge them* Mate, I would not change a single heart ache this life has given me. I would fear if I did so we would not be. I am so thankful for you and your amazing ability to make it right. I'm thankful for the life we have now here in DC together with our son and family...*Leaning down, kissing him with all the love she has in her from the past twenty something years* I love you mate....

{Lessons} Meison starts to Teach Satora

Meison Declain  *I had been sitting in my office for hours, speaking to various officials and trying to get The Dome to bypass more regulations. Dia handled the physical aspects of the business, and I dealt with the technical behind the scenes issues. With the phone pressed against my ear, I rose to stretch my feet, wandering to the verandah that overlooked The Dome. Narrowing my eyes as I noticed Satora going through several sword motions*

Satora Razza ~I stepped forward into the center of the hidden outside glade, clearing my mind as I held the sword up and began my warmup routine. I was used to the weight of the weapon but I still had not mastered control of it or precision. Sighing, I swung at the tree in front of me frustrated when the blow was lower than where I was aiming. I would get this, if I had to practice every free hour.~

Meison Declain *Pressing my face closer against the one way glass, I studied her movements, making note of her techniques. She was a fast learner, her steps and hand movements reasonably steady. Yet, there was a disjoint - Less fluidity that came with consciously thinking over every motion* No, that would never do *I murmured distractedly into the phone. The agitated voice on the other end let me know I had voiced my thoughts aloud* No, that was a musing of mine. Continue...

Satora Razza ~I took another step back and used my Breed speed to instantly appear in front of the tree and stab it then muttered.~ There's more than one way to kill something. ~Breathing in deep, I scanned the area certain I was still alone and took my formal stance again as I eyed the tree with disdain.~

Meison Declain *Wrapping up my phone call, I cleared my desk, securing my files in the privacy of my safe. There was no need to tempt Dia with my sources. For all I knew, the distraction below could have been a ploy. Shaking my head at the paranoia that came with working with a volatile Breed, I made my way outside for some chat time with the lovely and lethal Satora*

Satora Razza ~Going through the motions again, I worked my muscles until the sword felt like an extension of my arm. Now, the commands needed to come automatically and precisely. Growling as I missed another mark, I mentally went through my moves critically reviewing what I was missing.~

Meison Declain *Arriving at the clearing, I grabbed one of the extra swords and palmed the blade. I nodded in greeting to Satora, ignoring the irritated expression on her face. Testing the balance of the sword, I smiled as old memories flooded back to me. Times much different than these - Dangerous times, but with special moments nonetheless*

Satora Razza ~I turned to my unexpected company and wondered why I had not heard his arrival. I tensed at how involved in my training I had been, then nodded at him briskly~ Do you know how to use that weapon, Mr. Declain?

Meison Declain Yes, I'm somewhat familiar with them. I noticed you were having some trouble. May I be of assistance?

Satora Razza ~I gave him a sardonic smile.~ How would you have noticed that? Have you been watching me? ~Deciding not to start a confrontation~ Nevermind, I will take you up on that offer. What do you suggest?

Meison Declain *I smiled wide, but subdued it at her frown* We'll be working together for the foreseeable future. I suggest you turn that frown upside down and learn to deal with me. *I gripped her wrists delicately, upturning the blade in her hands* You're missing passion. You're thinking with your head, but ignoring you heart. Let the blade be an extension of you *Giving myself a wide berth from her, I demonstrated my words, moving in sync with the blade - an extension of my arms* Do you see where I'm going or am I boring you?

Satora Razza ~I lowered my sword to the ground, ignoring his advice about me and concentrating on his actions. His movements were graceful and hypnotizing to watch. He had what I wanted, needed. I continued to follow him as he moved around the clearing, murmuring a single word without thought.~ Beautiful. ~Seeing the lift of his brow, I knew he had heard my whisper and it only added to what already intrigued me about this male.~

{Lessons} Satora feels Clumsy

Satora Razza   ~Now that the Dome has officially opened, the crowds have increased in preparation of the human's holiday season. My office overlooks the shopping area and all appears business as usual. Reviewing the information on the tenants in the mall as well as the apartment complex, I memorize it. Restless, I pace my office and look at the arena. Perhaps it was time to get back into the ring.~

~I make my way to my changing room in the arena and slip on exercise clothes before heading into the ring. Only the cleaning crew is around so I pull out my sword and go through the movements, getting used to the feel of it in my hand while in the ring. I still feel clumsy with it, my balance off but quitting is not an option.~
