*Shutting the door to Lucan's office he was still angry but knew it was a mute point especially with a warrior off grid. He'd make sure his mate understood his concerns for her safety. Shoving his hands deep in his pocket he felt a soft velvet box. Aww damn, Dylan, anniversary, and locked up in their room. High tailing it down the corridor he climbs the stairs two at a time. Running to the end of the hall he stops in front of their quarters. Placing his hand on the crushed knob he hears his mates heartbeat. Feels and smells her closeness* DYLAN, honey, step back. I'm going to bust open the door.

Dylan Alexander *Moving back from the door she waited quietly trying to sort out what she was going to say when he was standing in front of him.* I'm away form the door, Rio. * There was a loud almost booming sound and the door was off it's hinges and laying on the floor. Rio was standing there and he looked less angry with her, but she stayed back for a few moments before moving closer. She wasn't scared of him, but she didn't want to run and throw herself at him. That wasn't her style.*
Rio Atanacio *His anger melted away at the sight of her. She stood there bare foot in one of his shirts. Her green eyes red rimmed. Closing the gap between them he could only croak out her name* Dylan!
Dylan Alexander *When he within a few steps of her, Dylan's resolve cracked and she went to him. Her arms wrapped around his waist. He looked as beat as she did and she could tell he was sorry for losing it as much as she was sorry for scaring him.* Rio, I love you and I'm sorry.
Rio Atanacio *Holding her tight to his chest he murmured against her lips* I love you too baby. I'm sorry I lost it, but when I felt your panic I knew you were in danger and I was frustrated that I was about to go after you come hell or high water.
Dylan Alexander *It felt good to be back in his arms again. She had missed him so much.* It was just suppose to be a quick look at an abandon warehouse. We had no idea anyone was using it. I promise I won't go out like that without you with me. I don't want to scare you like that again.
Rio Atanacio *Running his fingers through her hair as he cradles her head* There are rules, babe. Rules to keep you safe. All I ask is you let me know.when you go out like that. It's a far more dangerous world now that human know about us. And god know what other beings. *Holds her tighter*
Dylan Alexander *Staring into his eyes* I will do my best to follow them. *bite her lower lip* Do you have to go out on patrol tonight? I was hoping to have you to myself for a little while.
Rio Atanacio *Looking down into her green eyes the gold flecks glistening he slowly shakes his head no* Sterling switched patrols with me. *Burst out laughing* He probable regrets switching with me after what transpired in Lucan's office. *Reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small velvet box* But I'll make it right with him later, right now you are all that matters. * Places the box in her hand* Happy anniversary Dylan.
Dylan Alexander *Looking at the box in her hands she opened it slowly seeing the matching wedding bands* They are beautiful. * Taking the one out that was his, she held his hand and slid it onto his finger. Then smiled at him, his topaz eyes were shining as he took the other one from the box and slid it on her finger*
Rio Atanacio *Trailing kisses from her finger tips to her neck he speaks softly* You are my heart, my life. You save me when I was wondering blindly in the dark. I love you with all that is me.
Dylan Alexander We saved each other, my love. *A soft sigh passed over her lips as his kisses caressed over neck. His touch was soft that she got chill bumps. In a moment he'd scooped her up in his arms and settled them on the sofa as they made up.*

~tired of being cooped up in the house a moment longer I smile towards the bed seeing Niko stretched out asleep, his arm reaching for me, but I pick up my shoes and coat and sneak out the door, hoping that it doesn't squeak, I close the door with a soft snick and wait a few moments to see if he stirs, letting out a sigh when he doesn't I turn and waddle quickly down the hall, stopping at the base of the stairs I pull on my shoes and jacket, nearly growling with displeasure as the jacket doesn't close over my belly, but who cares, i need to get out of the house, waddling fast to the door I hear my name being called but I don't stop, gripping the hand rail I go as fast as I can down the steps, hating that I can't see where I am putting my feet~ — with Mira Nicholas-Archer.

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Watching Rennie try to escape, I can't help but laugh* Hey Rennie!? *I call from the top of the stairs, then run down to catch up to her* Were you headed on your jailhouse break?

Renata Breed ~huffing and puffing as I get to the bottom of the steps, I look around and turn seeing Mira standing up at the top of the stairs, I sigh and shake my head~ I have no clue, I just needed to get out...I was thinking of stealing a car and go for to shop for shoes...

Renata Breed ~nodding I sit on the bottom step and wait for her to come back out, wondering how mad Niko is going to be when he wakes up and I am not there, I love him but i need to get out sometimes too, and not just in the car to town and back, turning back I smile when she comes back out~ thank you Mouse, i really do need to get out....

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Sliding my coat on as I run down the stairs* I could tell you were getting a little tired of seeing the same thing every day. *Putting my hands in my pocket and grabbing the set of keys* I grabbed these out of Kellan's jacket. *throwing them up in the air* I kind of had to tell him where I was going or we would have two very pissed off breeds on our hands. *laughing* Boys.

Renata Breed ~chuckling then sigh~ better Niko finds out after we left then right before we leave ~smiling I waddle fast to the car and climb in the passenger side~ so where should we go? I haven't been out in such a long time I don't know if things have changed around here ~giggling~ where can a girl go now to get some killer shoes?

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Turning the ignition, I push the garage door opener and put the SUV into drive* Ready to blow this pop stand!? *I push my foot on the gas and exhilarate, driving us out of the confines of the compound and on the road to some fun* This is exciting. Hmmm, shoes...lets see. There's the Dome, which is big. *turning to look at her* But there is a smaller strip mall that has a cute store...and a ice cream shop on the corner that I've been wanting to try it for a while. *grinning* But I don't think they have pickles as a topping.

Renata Breed ~rubbing my hands together I turn and give you a glare~ once I craved ice cream and pickles...once...are you not going to let me live that down? ~shaking my head I laugh~ I have heard of the other breedmates talking about the Dome, have you been there? I don't know if I want to go there or to the smaller store, but being close to ice cream does have it's appeal ~smiling I look out of the neighborhood as we drive through~ how about we look at the Dome and also hit the small strip mall? make it a full day...

Renata Breed ~smiling i sit back and relax a little, feeling a little guilty for not letting Niko where we went but then I have been out of the loop on his patrol and don't know where he goes at night, I turn and smile at her~ thank you for doing this Mira, I didn't really plan on where I was going to go, maybe we can find a coat that is large enough for my tummy? this one wont close all the way...

I think you have enough for when he's a newborn but not really when he's older...plus, what if he's huge when he's born. Niko is kinda big. Remember Rafe? He was a giant. *Getting off at the exit for our destination*

Renata Breed ~nods~ I do remember Rafe being huge, and I think this little one will be too ~chuckles as we enter the outskirts of town, my eyes widen a little~ it really has changed down here hasn't it? ~bigger buildings block out the weak sunlight as we pass through the streets, the quaint little shops that I remember are no longer here~

Mira Nicholas-Archer Yeah, they demolished all those cute little shops they had here. *making a slight grimace* But there are a lot of cool new stores inside, including where I got those awesome pants I had on the other day. *Winking, I turn into The Dome's giant parking lot and drive to the front of the mall to find a parking spot* Ooh, they have expectant mother parking, score! Guess we are going here after all.

Renata Breed ~my eyes widen~ it is huge!! ~chuckling I shake my head as you pull into a spot for just expectant mothers, moving to get out of the car I step carefully on the still frozen ground~ it looks like it could be it's own city ~tipping my head back I wish now that I brought at least one my knives for protection, but then I wonder if they have metal detectors, I know that I would if I had a place like this~ those were some cute pants you had on, do you think they might have something like that for my preggo ass?

I walk over to Rennie's side of the car and lock my arm with hers* Dont' worry, I am so loaded with weapons, we could take out an entire army! *winking* I bet we could find some hot-momma clothes, no problem! Renata Breed ~chuckling knowing that one of us is prepared for anything, walking towards the doors I shake my head~ who owns this? they sure know how to decorate...~the entrance looks like it could be a hotel but then I see shops lining the sides~ where should we go first? now that we are here I am kinda hungry, then I want to see the shoes, then we can look for pants, maybe we should have asked a few of the others to come along as well...it is really safe here? should we have gone to the strip mall instead? ~hating that I sound needy I sigh and shake my head~

Renata Breed ~smiling as my tummy rumbles~ yes lets get something there and then plan our attack ~stopping by a turnstile and taking a map of the Dome~ this will come in handy ~smiling as we sit and order our ice cream and drinks, I open the map~ this is so huge, we could spend days in here and never see it all...

Renata Breed ~sighs and shakes my head~ lets just plan our attack and then get out, I don't want to be out longer than a few hours, if Niko....~sighing I rub my hands along my thighs~ he is going to be mad as it is...maybe we should just go back, I don't...~shaking my head~ damn, this is harder than I thought it would be just to be out for a few hours on our own, do you think I have gotten weaker because of the baby? ~looking down at the table I run my thumb nail along the edge of the placemat~ you would tell me right Mouse?

Why don't we take our ice creams to go and head back to the compound? We could have a girls day in your quarters. *Calling the waitress over, I ask for our ice creams in two Styrofoam to-go cups* Maybe there is a Harry Potter marathon on!

Renata Breed ~nodding as I wipe away angry tears as they fall down my cheeks~ thank you Mouse, I even messed up our running away day ~lays my head on her shoulder loving her even more for being here with me, I would have probably ended up in a ditch when this hormone attack happened, that would defiantly wake Niko up and he would be even angrier when he couldn't get to me, I stand and put my coat back on as you pay the waitress for our ice cream~ sorry Mouse, I don't know what comes over me sometimes....~sniffing as we head back to the car~ there might be, you never know ~smiling sadly as you pull out of the parking lot and head back home~

Renata Breed ~smiling I turn my head and look at you~ i am glad to Mouse, we can always find something at home ~sighing I turn my head and watch the change of scenery, only in reverse this time, it's only been about an hour since we left and I can now feel Niko's anger as he woke up and found me gone, maybe I should have left a note, shaking my head I hear Mira's phone chirp~ that is probably Niko as I left my phone at home...stupid me ~hitting my head against the back of the seat~ I so didn't plan today well did I?
