{Ashes to Mathias} The Elevator to Aine's Apt

Mathias Rowan    March 6, 2014  *He stepped in the elevator after her, her heartbeat drowning out the music that was being piped in. Running a hand over his jaw, he was hungrier than he thought. Mindful of the cameras and ever present eyes of Dia and his crew, he stopped next to Aine brushing his arm against her.*

Aine Declain *Shivering from the heat that sees to move up my arm from his gentle brush. Reaching forward, I press the button for the Penthouse level. Stepping back to his side, glancing over to see that his body is tense and rigid* Is everything ok? You seem almost nervous. I won't bite. *smiles at my ridiculous joke*

Mathias Rowan *He laughed at her pun, certain she knew what he was and probably what he had planned. Taking a slight bow, he smirked at her.* Mia bella, should I be anything less in your company?

Aine Declain *grinning at his bow* So Mr. Rowan, how would you like to get to lnow each other better? *turning to lean against the elevator wall, tilting my head, letting my eyes travel down his body and slowly back to his eyes*

Mathias Rowan *He winked and smiled wide, relaxing next to her* I believe we can come up with something. Are you from DC?

Aine Declain *shaking my head* No, Boston. Where are you from? *Taking a deep breath, his scent surrounding me, making my head light with desire*

Mathias Rowan *Arcing his brow, he looked at her closer.* Boston. Imagine that. It took us moving to DC, Dia building this place for us to meet. What are the chances? *He took a step closer to her.*

Aine Declain *Slowly rising my gaze to his, licking my lips in a silent invitation* I guess I'll have to send Dia a nice thank you gift.

Mathias Rowan *Watching every move she made, he leaned in and stroked the edge of her jaw with his thumb and knew his eyes flashed amber. His hunger was taking control as he tried to concentrate on what she had said.* You do that, sweetheart.

Aine Declain *My insides tighten as butterflies fly loose in my belly at the flash of amber in his eyes. Leaning forward, my lips a breath away from his* I'll make sure to put it from the two of us.

Mathias Rowan *The bell on the elevator alerting them that they had reached her floor was the only thing that stopped him from closing the distance between them. He held his hand out, holding the door open barely able to speak through his fangs* After you, my lady

Aine Declain *The ding on the elevator causing me to jerk back, a blush creeping up my face. Smiling at the slight lisp to his words, I walk out before him and to my door. Pulling the key from my pocket, I fumble to open it as he presses himself up against my back. Shivering at the heat of his breath on my neck. Pausing before I open the door, whispering* Are you sure you want this?

Mathias Rowan *Arcing a brow* Would I be here if I wasn't? *Giving her body another once over, his eye caught on her ankle. What the fuck? A breedmate mark? He blinked and inhaled, noticing no scent. It had to be a tattoo. The blood pounding through her veins was a siren to him making him push his doubts aside.*

Aine Declain *nodding, I push open the door and step inside, holding it open for him. Turning to lock the door back as I take a deep breath* Alright Mr. Rowan. I'm all yours. *Reaches out to flip the lights on*

Mathias Rowan *Flipping the lights back out mentally, he took a step closer and cupped her jaw. He brushed his lips against hers, confirming no blood scent.* Turn about is fair, are you sure you want this?

Aine Declain *gasps as the lights turn back off, turning to face him, moaning at the gently brush of his lips on mine* So bad I can taste it.

Mathias Rowan *Hearing a noise, he blinked and started to turn but she forced his attention back to her with her breathy whisper. He let his fangs emerge but avoided her skin as he nuzzled her jaw. Feeling the air charge around him, he smelled the faintest hint of tuberose before his world went black.*
