Outing: Dare takes Carys for a Ride

Dare Thorne with Carys Chase   March 26  *Jingling my keys and humming under my breath, I take out my phone and text Carys* :txt: Hi Princess. Ready to go for a ride? Meet me in the garage. :endtxt: *Hitting send, I continue down to the garage to await her arrival.*

Top of Form
Carys Chase *My phone beeps and buzzes on my desk as I'm getting dressed. Pulling my jeans up, I hurry over and pick it up, smiling at the text from Dare. I answer him quickly as I hurry to my closet to grab a shirt and my boots.* :txt: On my way! :Etxt:.

Stuffing my feet into my boots, I pull on a old Rolling stones tshirt and grab a jacket. On my way out I finger comb my messy hair and hurry to the garage,*

Dare Thorne *Turning as I sense her presence near, I see her enter the garage - looking lovely as ever.* Hey there Princess! Looks like a fine evening for a ride. *Smiling, I hand her a brain bucket* Better put this on - Uncle Sterling would kick me out at sunrise if anything happened to you! There's an intercom system in the helmet, so we can still talk or listen to the stereo system. Anyplace in particular you would like to go?

Carys Chase *Giving him a quick hug, I take the helmet from him.* Anyplace is good for me. It's a nice night so..Prince Charming, show me the city from the back of your bike. *Smiling wide I put the helmet on and strike a pose, giggling inside the thing and breathing like Darth Vader to make him laugh*

Dare Thorne *Inhaling her sweet smell as we hug, I quickly regain my composure, cracking up as she starts imitating Darth Vader* Good one Princess! Hop on, Darth - your chariot awaits!

Carys Chase *I climb up on the bike and settle in close to him with my hands on his hips. He is all warm and hard muscle and I can't help but to smile. I want to press my forehead against his back and end up bumping him with the helmet and laughing. Blushing in its confines when I hear him chuckle.*

Dare Thorne *The feel of her arms around me feels nice - right, somehow. I have to stop thinking like this. She is besotted with that bastard, Rune. Telling myself to take a deep breath and just enjoy the moment. Just as I decide to settle myself down, she bumps me with her helmet. Hearing her laughter puts a smile on my face. Shifting gears, we head out of the compound and down a country road. Night has fallen, and we can see some of the stars through the wispy clouds.*

Carys Chase *Finally a nice night. Looking up at the night sky I am in awe. As we get further from the city lights, the stars shine even brighter. Every care leaves me and I am just here in the here and now. * Thank you, Dare. This is...perfect.

Dare Thorne I'm so glad you're enjoying this. I love riding the bike on crisp nights. Nothing around for miles as we're away from the city. Nothing but a perfect night suits you! *mentally smacking myself. What in the hell are you doing? She's in love with someone else. Getting yourself jazzed up over someone you can't have is not something the son of a leader should be doing. Taking a deep breath, I resolve to relax and just enjoy the company of this beautiful female.*

Carys Chase *Grinning from ear to ear as the countryside flashes by us, I wrap my arms around him. An image of Rune, smirking at me the last time I saw him comes to mind and I push it away. Silently wishing he cared half as much as Dare did about what made me happy. I close my eyes for just a moment and sigh. Determined to let nothing ruin this lovely night, I smile and open my eyes to watch the scenery and bask in Dare's warmth.*

Dare Thorne *As the bike glides effortlessly through the twists and turns of the country road, I hear Carys sigh.* Doing okay back there, Princess?

Carys Chase I'm doing great, Prince Charming. Perfect in fact. *I hug him tighter and lean with him through a turn. He picks up speed and I squeal. Dare chuckles and pats my hand where it's resting on his chest*

Dare Thorne *Delighted by the sound of her squeal, I speed up a little more as we go through a hairpin turn, nearly laying the bike down as we lean into it. As we come out of the turn, I slow way down.* Sorry Princess - didn't mean to scare you. It's just a rush to go through these curves - feels almost like flying doesn't it? *I then do my best imitation of Leo DiCaprio, hollering out I'm the king of the world!*

Carys Chase *Laughing at his impression, I let him go, raising my arms, my thighs pressed against his hard* It does feel like flying! *The cool air flows over my hands and for a moment I do feel like a total Princess, flying high under a blanket of stars.*

Dare Thorne *laughing as she raises her arms like a kid on a roller coaster, I feel pleased that I am able to make her smile and enjoy herself away from that rat bastard, Rune.* Want to pull over and stretch your legs for a minute?

Carys Chase Sure, that would be great, Dare. *I settle my hands on his hips and look around us, enjoying the view as he finds a place to stop for a moment. There is what looks like an old abandoned barn just off of the road and Dare stops beside it. When he stops I climb down and remove my helmet, fluffing out my hair as I study the area. Turning I see Dare still on the bike watching me. * Thanks again for this, I needed it. I guess I needed to be away from the city and compound and the noise..
*Dare smiles and for whatever reason, I blush slightly. Walking over to him, I climb back on the bike, facing him. The look in his eyes is a lot of surprise, but he smiles slowly at me.* Dare, I just..* I wrap my arm around him and kiss him softly, letting my lips linger on his..*

Dare Thorne *When she straddles the bike, facing me, I feel my breath quicken. When our lips meet in a soft, gentle kiss, I am lost. I so wasn't expecting that, but I have no complaints. As she breaks the kiss, and pulls away, I look into her eyes, for a clue as to what is next. I feel conflicted and torn. I wanted that kiss, but I fear her heart belongs to another.* Carys?

Carys Chase *Pulling back, I let him go and look down at the front of his shirt. So many thoughts are swirling through my head that I feel confused and lost. Closing my eyes I shake my head* I'm sorry, I don't know why..I. *Biting my lip, I look up at him* You're always so nice to me. I, I'm not used to it sometimes and I'm all over the place..*Sighs* I know you know about Rune. And I have no idea where that's even going..I'm sorry Dare, I shouldn't have done that. I didn't mean to ruin our wonderful night out.

Dare Thorne *Seeing the turmoil on her face, I understand.* Princess, it's okay. I can't say I didn't enjoy the kiss - I certainly did. You deserve to be treated nice, and you should get used to it, and expect it! I don't mean to cause you any confusion, and for that I'm truly sorry. But I'm not sorry about that kiss. *Grinning at her* C'mon - let's go home.

Carys Chase Honestly, Dare. I liked it too. *Giving him a tight hug, I slide off of the bike and put my helmet on as he starts the engine. Climbing back on, I wrap my arms around him* Take me home Prince charming and don't spare the horses! *A happy squeak leaves my lips when he revs the motor and we take off for home. Inside I'm still confused but, I wouldn't trade this night for any other.*~
