*I placed the cookies on the tray then poured the last two cups of cocoa, making sure to add the whipped cream to Renata's. I picked up the tray and headed to the living room and was glad everyone was there. Smiling I walked in ready to place the tray by Renata as she asked.* Please tell me you remembered the whipped cream?

Renata Breed ~giggling I moan as I sip the hot cocoa~ Savy you make the bestest cocoa in the world...~giggling again I sit back and nibble on a cookie as I rest the cup on my large tummy~ so the tree is trimmed, most of the package wrapped, is there anything left that we might have to do before Christmas?

Mira Nicholas-Archer *taking one of the mugs and wrapping my hands around its warmth* I haven't bought any Christmas presents yet. *taking a sip* Lucan's been keeping us busy. *grabbing a star cookie and biting off one of the points*

Elise Chase *Taking her cup, she took a slow sip of the hot yummy goodness that was Savannah's cocoa and settled deeper into the chaise.* can't believe how many Christmases we've been together now. I'm no where near done as I usually am. And I truly can't blame Lucan for me not being ready.

Savannah Dupree *I took a seat by the fire, a cookie in one hand, my mug in the other.* I'm not ready either. With so many charities to give too I haven't had time to shop for family. *I looked at the ladies and smiled.* Yes we have been together for a long time.

Renata Breed ~chuckling again I smile wide~ a very long time, I feel like sometimes I can't remember a time when you were not my sisters. So Elise what is your favorite memory of one of our past Christmas'? For many of them revolve around Mira and Niko ~smiling softly thinking about my mate~

Mira Nicholas-Archer I don't know about you guys, but I will never forget when I was babysitting the boys and they decided that it would be a fabulous idea to go pee in the snow. *laughing as I take a sip* That was unfortunately when I found out that breeds peed red. (Aric Chase Rafe Malebranche Micah Breed Dare Thorne)

Elise Chase *Laughing at Mira, she took a cookie thinking back to some of her favorite Christmas memories. The best ones always seemed to include Micah. Which reminded her of one particular incident.* Do you guys remember the time when the kids all gave their dads early surprise prank gifts? I thought Lucan was going to pull his hair out if he found one more cricket in his office. And Tegan's files all paperclipped together. You know how much he detests paperwork anyway. Then Gid's room smelled like sulfur for weeks. But my favorite was T and Micah getting matching snowmobiles.

Savannah Dupree *All the memories fun ones and I laughed as they told them.* I'm just glad we don't have to clean up after them anymore. I hated to see my clean kitchen after one of their pranks.

Renata Breed ~snorts~ I remember one that was pulled on Niko, and Mira spear headed it..~gives her a mock glare~ Kellan, Mira, and Nathan all decided to help Niko with loading of some bullets, they forgot to put the powder in some and the firing cap in others, and not to mention that Niko had kept finding tray bullets everywhere in the range. I think he made them clean all the guns for the whole order for two weeks...~chuckling as I nibble on another cookie~

Mira Nicholas-Archer Oh man, I remember that. *laughing* Dad was so pissed off. *taking another bite of my cookie and sip of my cocoa* Do you guys remember when Gideon filled in for Lucan as Santa? And he spoke to all of us like Yoda?

Elise Chase *Shaking her head, she couldn't stop laughing at all the memories.* Even through the dark years, we rallied around for Christmas. It's always amazed me. But at the heart of it all was Savannah's cooking and treats. Wouldn't be the same without it. *She smiled at Savvy as she collected the cups and headed toward the kitchen.* I think it might be time to go find my mate. What do you ladies think?

Renata Breed ~giggling I shake my head~ we have had many great years together and I have loved every minute of them and I pray for many more...~handing over my cup to Savvy I move to the edge of my chair and hoist myself up, hugging each of the girls I slowly move towards the stairs, my lower back hurting I plan what final gifts I need to get~

Niko, Renata, Mira, and Kellan Decorate (#Christmas16 Day 4)

*squeezing Kellan's hand as we walk down the hall toward gigantically fantastic Christmas tree that Niko and Kellan set up last month* It's about time our schedules cleared up, I've been waiting to decorate this tree for what feels like a lifetime. *turning the corner, I spot both of my parents waiting for us...my dad looking increasingly impatient at our tardiness and my mom nomming on chocolate covered pickles.* Really, Rennie?!

Kellan Archer *he chuckles at her comment to Renata* Not helping babe. *he squeezes her hand quickly before hugging Renata and shaking hands with Niko* Good evening. I see you've been busy gathering everything. *he looks at the mountain of boxes stacked in a far corner*

Niko Breed *He raises one eye brow at the question,* Do you not know we're dealing with son? My girls don't half ass something. They give it their all, and they don't cheat either. Like say using a chain saw to cut a tree down. *Renata shushes me to be quiet.*

Renata Breed ~winking at Mira over the pickle I place my hand on Niko's arm when he talks down to Kellan~ baby...actually Kellan this is only the decorations for the tree, the rest of the house has it's own boxes and they will be coming up in the next few days ~smiling wide at the frown on his face~ oh it will be fun, since you are off patrol for the next week on vaca you, me and Mira will have tons of fun decorating the whole house ~waving my hand towards the entry way and beyond, i move towards the first box and start to open them~ come on family lets get started...

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Giggling at the look on Kellan's face* Yeah, I may have neglected to tell you that tiny little detail. *leaning up to whisper into his ear* Don't worry, I'll make it worth your while... *wrapping my arm around his and pulling him toward the giant spool of christmas ribbon* Let's start with this.

Kellan Archer *he pinched her butt as she dragged him into complete chaos. He groaned as she grabbed the ribbon and rubbed his hands over his face* Yes Dear. *he smiled and followed her*

Niko Breed *Each one of them grabs a box except Rennie. He wont let her lift anything heavy. He tells her she is to direct them. Tell them where she wants things to be placed. He's about to agree with Kellan that there's a little too much. Maybe the boy has a point, but he wasn't going to let him know that. He sees the way he looks at Mouse and it warms his heart to know that he has her back. His mouse deserves to be loved like that. He turns to Rennie*OK baby what else would you like? Kellan can you put up the lighted garland along the doorways?

Renata Breed ~smiling I turn on the christmas music and wiggle as I point to where I want each ball and garland, I pick up one of the first ornaments that Mira had made, I wipe away a happy tear before anyone can see me~ Mouse hang this one to the right of the Santa...~turning I see Kellan stretching to place one of the mini trees over the window~ that looks perfect Kell

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Smiling as I take the hand print ornament and place it carefully on the tree* I hope you guys are going to make another one for my baby brother. *pulling the next ornament out of the box, a gummy bear, and placing it on the tree* You know what ornament we need to get for him? *laughing* A pickle.

Kellan Archer *he chuckled as he finished placing the decorations around the main room as directed. Mira and Niko had the tree just about done, at least in his opinion it looked done* anything else? *he asked as he looked at the pipes of empty boxes everywhere*

Niko Breed *Slapping Kellan on the back he stands back to take in everything. My woman knew how to decorate.* Job well done son. Just think you have this to look forward to every year. *He laughs as he hears him mumble under his breath.* Great job everyone. It all looks awesome.

Renata Breed ~fighting back a yawn I smile wide at everyone, so happy that we could do this all as a family, moving towards Niko I lean against him~ perfect baby, this just gets better every year, just think our little one will be with us next year...~smiling up at him I lean up and kiss him softly~ thank you my Mouse and Kell, its is perfect ~giggling as Niko sweeps me off my feet and moves towards the door~ just think tomorrow we can do the entry way and then move on to the dinning room...

Dylan and Renata Go Shopping (Toronto Part 3 - The Girls)

~smiling I shake my head at Aric's antics and then give Niko another hug, turning to Dylan I smile wide~ luggage just for shoes? ~moans lightly as I take her arm~ let me drool over them, I haven't been able to wear much in the last few weeks and Niko tries to carry me everywhere ~smiles sweetly at my mate as he nearly drags Rio away to check out the club~ lets get some snacks too, I am hungry again...~waving to the boys as we turn and make our way up stairs~

Dylan Alexander *Kissing Rio before sending him off with Niko and Aric.* As soon as this little one is born you will be able to wear anything you want. Until then enjoy all the pampering. * Their arms linked they headed to the quarters she and Rio would be sharing while here.* I have a feeling there is very little you are going to need for this little one after you see what all was sent.

Renata Breed ~chuckles as we sit and Dylan moves to the luggage~ he will be outfitted for a few years at least. but then again babies do grow quickly and will need new clothes in a few months. and yes I am enjoying the pampering, but then Niko always pampers me...~giggling I smile as she starts to take out the boxes~ wow there is more than I thought in here...

Dylan Alexander *Proptping the suitcase on top of the others. Dylan starts taking things out and hands one to Renata.* There are so many cute things out there, I think we all had a hard deciding so we got everything we liked. * She grinned. The first box had a sleeper and matching blanket she had found at the cutest shop when she was shopping with the others.*

Renata Breed ~loving each piece of clothing or toy that was handed over I giggle and sigh, they ranged in sizes which was amazing~ we are always looking for things too ~smiling I hold one of the little elephants close~ this works well with the decorations in his room...now about those shoes ~smiling as I nibble on a cookie~ any stilettos?

Dylan Alexander *She found the bag with the shoes in it.* There are a few new pair of them. If they are your size you can have them. *Unzipping she it was brimming with shoes.* It's heavier then I thought it was. No wonder Aric wasn't happy. I was so excited about getting here I never noticed. *Laughing as she snatched a cookie from the tray of goodies they had gotten.* So tell me, are prepared for becoming a mom?

Renata Breed ~my eyes gleaming at the thought of a new pair or two of shoes, smiling at Dylan's question~ I think I am, I did raise Mira, but then again she was past the baby stage when we met ~chuckling~ I don't really know if Niko is ready though, he is still rushing about trying to baby proof the house but then still sharpens his blades at the kitchen table...but what about you? when are Rio and you thinking of a little one?

Dylan Alexander *She handed Renata the new pairs and grabbed another cookie. She was hungrier then she had realized. Then she thought about her sister's question.* I've really thought about it. I figure when it happens, it happens. Not that I wouldn't love to have a little Rio running around, but I want him to be ready for it. *She hoped her thoughts made sense. The Breed Warriors were always at risk and need to be on their toes when patrolling. Dylan wondered how they were able to put back any fears of leaving their mates or offspring behind should something happen to them.*

Renata Breed ~smiles knowingly~ Well then it will happen soon then ~setting the shoes down sliding them onto my feet, I smile wide seeing that they will fit but right now my feet are a little swollen and wont fit if I stand~ but I can tell you that I will love not being pregnant as soon as this little one is born, I miss being able to go and shoot my guns...I am not allowed anywhere near the shooting range right now, but we have a mini range set up out back that I use a paintball gun to practice with...

Dylan Alexander They are protective, but you have to admit in some ways you love it too. Soon you'll be beating the guys again on the targets. I do think some are envious of how well you use your guns. * Settling on the sofa across from Renata. * Those shoes look like they will do the trick once you are no longer with child. I have a feeling Niko will get some ideas after seeing you in those spikes.

Renata Breed ~blushing lightly~ oh yeah I think he will get many ideas just seeing them in my closet...that man does love me in spikes...~picking them up to look closer at them I smile seeing that the heel was made of titanium, our metal of choice~ so we have a few things planned for while you are here, is there anything that you wanted to see specifically?

Dylan Alexander I'd love to see the CN Tower and the art gallery. That is if you are up to it. If you aren't I'm good to stay here and help you get things ready. *Dylan was easy going with things, as long as she had the family around and something to keep her busy she was happy. She saw Renata checking the hells on the shoes.* Yes, they can be weapons if need be.

Renata Breed ~smiling~ we can do that, they have some really good exhibits at the gallery...~tilting my head to the side~ Dylan, is there anything new in your world? I heard a rumor that you met someone...

Dylan Alexander *It took a moment to register, her father had to be who she was meaning.* I met my father, my real father. He is very different then I imagined. * She smiled a bit, but she noticed Renata yawn a bit.* I think you are getting a little tired.

Renata Breed ~trying to hide a yawn, my eyes widen at the word father~ really? what was he like? ~if she met her father than I start to wonder if our other fathers are still out there, blinking my eyes I yawn again~ yeah I guess I am getting a little tired, but I don't want to end our visit just yet...I want to hear more about your father...

Dylan Alexander *She laughed a bit.* I'm not going anywhere in the near future. You should rest and I'll unpack. We can continue this after you've rested over some dinner. *She walked her sister to her quarters, hugged Renata and then returned to hers. She unpacked and then laid down to rest.*

The Meet and Greet With Rio, Dylan, Renata, Niko, and Aric (Toronto Part 2)

~sitting in the front parlor of the house, I chuckle and watch Rio pacing back and forth, I know that he can sense his mate getting closer, shifting on my chair I set my knitting needles to the side and reach for my tea~ Calm yourself Rio, Dylan will be here soon, Aric is taking good care of her ~a chuckle sounds from my right as Niko watches Rio clench and unclench his hands~ baby make him sit, he is giving me a headache watching him...~smiling sweetly I knit another row~

Rio Atanacio *Brushing his hair back from his face he sat on the edge of the chair, then quickly got up and gazed out the window. A SUV was pulling into the driveway.* SHE's here! *Quickly exiting the room with Niko and Renata following he runs out pulling Dylan into an embrace* Damn I missed you. *Kissing her soundly*

Dylan Alexander *It had been awhile since she had felt his embrace and it felt good. She kissed him* You look good, love. * Then her eyes fell on Renata and Niko. Renata was looking beautiful and very pregnant. She hugged them both.* It's chilly out here. I think we should go back inside.

Aric Chase *he starts hauling the mountain of luggage in, Niko offering to help. With a grin he tossed a bag at him before grabbing a few and heading for the door* I'll come back for those. Wouldn't want you to strain yourself. *he smirked over his shoulder*

Niko Breed *Loaded down with luggage that's heavy as shit he makes his way behind the happy couple. Keeping an eye on his mate as well.* Damn Dylan don't think you packed enough? Did you leave a couple of suit cases at home? *Rio just turns and shoots me the bird as Renata tells me to leave her alone.* Well come on champ, don't take all day...damn.

Renata Breed ~giggling as I hug Dylan back, turning making our way back into the room, shaking my head at the amount of luggage, but then again I always pack that much too, but then I carry guns, bullets and knives...leaning against Niko once he drops the bags and one of the younger breed collect them and take them to Dylan and Rio's suite~ Welcome Dylan and Aric, how was the flight? anything exciting happen?

Rio Atanacio *Slapping Aric's shoulders* Thank you Aric for bringing Dylan to me safely. *Taking a bag from the young male* I take it all went smooth otherwise we would have been alerted. *Kicks the door closed*

Dylan Alexander *Inside it was nice and warm. She rolled her eyes at the males complaining. Then grinned at Renata.* A few are clothes, one for shoes and one for gifts for you and the little guy. I think everyone had something to send. I managed to fit it in one large suitcase. Overwise there would have been more. *She heard Aric groan and she laughed.*

Aric Chase *He chuckled* I offered to find her a forklift but she was insulted *he shrugs* now y'all understand why. *he hugged Renata awkwardly and shook hands with Niko and Rio. * No Sir, no problems at all. Oh yeah, excuse me Sir. *he turned to Niko* This is from Kade. He said "with love" * He jabbed Niko in the gut before he had a chance to catch his intent* DOH!

~hiding in the shadows I watch as Sergei's sons pull another girl into their room, shaking my head I hear her muffled screams and feel sorry for her, a shiver of fear skates down my spine as I remember my first few days before the chase....holding back my fear and panting as I push through the shadows into the room next mine, wishing for the day that I can run away, but then scent of baby powder reaches out to me and I know that I really wont be leaving, that small body waiting for me keeps me here more than Sergei does....the soft breathing of my Mouse reaches my ears and I let a smile grace my face, moving into the room I sit on the edge of her bed~ "Rennie?" ~her sweet voice reaches my ears just as she reaches for the white cloth on the bedside table~ "Yes my little Mouse it is me" ~she smiles and I smooth the blanket across her hip~ "Go back to sleep baby we have a long day tomorrow" Sergei wants another vision from her, hoping that it changes, but it never does, soon he might kill her but then that means I will have to kill him...and his sons~

Mira Nicholas-Archer ~memory~ *Turning my head quickly, as if I was caught doing something I shouldn't be* Oh, hi Rennie. Um... *looking back at the cute instructor and smiling slightly* yeah, I am.

Renata Breed ~chuckling I move forward tapping Mira on the shoulder as I set my board on the sand, the instructor straightens then smile as he flushes at being caught I shake my head~ okay bra, let learn how to shoot the curl...~bites back a snort as he gives me a look like I should try and talk surfer~ isn't that what we are doing?

Mira Nicholas-Archer *blinks* Um, mom? *turning thirty different shades of red at Rennie's lame attempt at talking like a surfer...I look back toward the instructor and wish he would just ignore that ever happened.* Can we just start, please? *whispering under my breath* Before I die of embarrassment.

Renata Breed ~laughing I i shake my head~ yeah lets do this ~moving to lay on the board as instructed then to jump up and balance with one leg forward, I chuckle as i fall on the first try, the instructor does a more in hands approach with Mira~ Mouse...~doing the move again and again until I can stand without wavering~ so far this is kinda fun...when can we hit the waves?

Mira Nicholas-Archer *paddling forward, just like the instructor showed me, a little more hands on than my mom or especially my dad would like. I paddled forward a little more, to catch the wave that was coming up from behind us.* watch this! *as the wave started to dome, I pulled my feet from under me and stood on the board to ride it the rest of the way* I'm doing it!! *Even slightly shaky and on the brink of face planting in the ocean, it was still a rush.*

Renata Breed ~clapping as Mira takes the wave like she has been doing it forever, smiling wide I move to paddle into the incoming wave, shaking a little, I should so not be nervous, fucking I have taken on full blown savage Rouges, I should be able to do this, letting the wave go I move to take the next one, taking a deep breath I move the nose of the board into the water then move to stand, popping up I hold my breath as I ride a few feet of the wave, I know that these are small waves but you have to practice first right?~

Mira Nicholas-Archer *giggling* This is so fun! *My run was short lived when my elation out ran my actual ability to stay on the board and I fall into the water. *

Renata Breed ~hearing a splash I look to my right and laugh before I hit the water, coming sputtering water I feel the laughter of my mate, I glare back towards shore before I pull myself back on the board and paddle back out to sea, I will master this....~

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Coming up for air, I grab the edge of my board and let it float me a bit while I watch Rennie try again. The sun had finally dipped below the horizon and Niko was standing at the bungalow laughing at our attempts* Dad's out from his hiding spot *I laughed as I shouted toward Rennie*

Renata Breed ~hearing Mira I smile and drop to my knees then sit, the waves laying flat in front of me as I float over to Mira~ yeah I can feel his laughter...just wait till I get him on the water ~glaring towards the beach~ ready to go in? ~my tummy rumbles telling me I need to eat, I smile wider when I notice Mira hearing my stomach~ what I didn't each lunch today...~turning my board out to the water one more time~ another wave before we head back in?

Mira Nicholas-Archer *looking toward the shore then back to the open water and then back to her with a grin* Absolutely! *we paddle one more time toward the coming wave* Are you ready? *we climb up on our board an ride the wave down together, laughing* That was so much fun! *I look once more toward the shore, at Niko laughing and clapping at our success* Let's go attack dad!

Renata Breed ~laughing I nod as I lift my board from the water, running the last few feet in the surf I drop the board knowing that the instructor will put them away as he brought them with him, smiling wide I link arms with Mira and run back towards the bungalow, love for my daughter and mate move through me, stopping a few yards short I smile and nod at Mira, whispering~ you hit him low I hit him high ~she nods and we both giggle rushing forward, he is expecting us and catches us both a few feet before we would have taken him down, shaking my head spraying us all with water our laughter fills the air~ love you my mate...my daughter...
