{Colliding Paths} Sharing with Tavia

Tavia Chase
May 15, 2016

*Grabbing her keys, she left the suite she shared with Sterling and made her way to the garage. She was looking forward to some much needed sister time with Elise. Unlocking her Jeep, she turned and saw Elise walking toward her.* Hey there! You ready to go?
Elise Chase *Smiling as she nodded, she slid into the front seat of Tavia's car.* More than you can imagine. Plus I needed a chance to wear my Mother's Day gifts. *She pointed toward the earrings that matched her eyes.*

Tavia Chase Those are beautiful! *Pulling out of the drive, they headed into the city. They talked about places to eat, deciding on a Bistro near The Dome. Parking, she grabbed her bag and met Elise on the side walk.* I've heard good things about this place. I've been wanting to come here. *Looping her arm through her sisters, she smiled* And it will give us a chance to catch up. I feel like its been forever since we've talked.
Elise Chase Thank you *She linked her arm through Tavia's and prepared herself for the onslaught of voices. Tuning almost all of them out now, she grinned as they walked in and were seated. What a difference her gift was now.* It's been too long. Especially since you now have a son in law.
Tavia Chase I know. I'm still trying to adjust to that. He is a good man, and good to Carys. He makes her happy, which is the most important. *Placing their drink orders, they took a minute to make their choices. After handing the menu's over, she smiled at Elise.* Of course, I gave him the "you hurt my daughter, you'll answer to me" conversation. It was fun to watch him squirm.
Elise Chase I can only imagine. I keep teasing Micah about grandchildren but in reality, I am just teasing. I want him happy whether he finds a mate this decade or takes a few. It's easy to want everyone around us to have what we have. *Looking over the menu, she decided on an entree then looked around the restaurant. She could see the Dome through the tinted windows and couldn't stop the slight shiver when the memory of her last trip flooded her mind.*
Tavia Chase *She watched her sister shiver and she turned to follow her line of sight* What is it Elise?
Elise Chase *Returning her attention back to Tavia, she shook her head.* Last time I went shopping I had an unfortunate run in while at the Dome. I've not said anything because I really didn't want to be on lockdown.
Tavia Chase *She watched Elise carefully, shifting closer in her seat. If Elise was worried about a lock down, then it had to be something serious.* What happened Elise?
Elise Chase *Sighing, she looked down fiddling with her napkin. It actually felt good to be telling someone.* I literally walked into Mr. Declain. That business partner of Dia's. I'm not really sure how it happened. It was like I heard his thoughts and tried to move away but we collided. The thoughts were horrid but his touch was worse.
Tavia Chase *She watched the expression of relief wash over Elise's face as she began to speak.* He probably put himself in your path, if he is anything like his partner. Did he hurt you? *She knew there was something else weighing on her sisters mind. The waitress appeared, bringing their food. She told the young lady thank you, waiting for her to leave before speaking again.* What else happened? I get the feeling there is something else on your mind.
Elise Chase He blocked the voices. He is different and I don't know. He wouldn't let go to begin with. I think he was thinking of taking me but then told me to run. I couldn't leave fast enough. *She shook her head to clear the memories, dreading the next question about how she had avoided telling anyone.*
Tavia Chase *She reached across the table, supporting her sister* Elise, why didn't you tell anyone? *She couldn't even imagine the fear that her friend faced.*
Elise Chase We know he is here or around. Telling everyone would only put me and everyone else on tighter security. It was a one time thing and I should have taken someone with me. It wouldn't be just Tegan either but the whole group. You know what I mean?
Tavia Chase I do know what you mean, and when you put it that way, I can understand why you didn't say anything. We shouldn't have to worry about taking an entire entourage with us to go shopping. I do think you should at least tell Tegan what happened though. *She squeezed Elise's hand, and smiled* I'll go with you.
Elise Chase *Returning the squeeze, she smiled at the GenOne across the table then laughed lightly.* Thanks for the support but you really don't want to be there during that conversation. Sterling would be after me then too. But you are right, I'll tell him soon.
Tavia Chase *She watched Elise relax a bit, getting the weight of what happened off her chest* Sterling would have something to say, but I can take him *Laughing together, they finished their meal, talking about things going on a the compound and all of the kids. It felt good to laugh with her sister.* You ready to head back?
Elise Chase *Feeling lighter than she had in days, she nodded.* Thank you,Tavia, for getting me out and convincing me to do the deed. We need to get out more often, all the breedmates really. *Tav kept the conversation light on the way back to the compound and they made plans for a movie night to invite everyone to.*
