Compound: Alex and Jenna take a Walk

*Missing my best friend, I go in search of Alexandra. I knock softly on her door so I don't wake her mate. I hear light footsteps moving toward the door and she opens it with a smile.* Hey Sis! How are you? I've missed you lately. I am hoping we can hang out together. Maybe take Jax & Bella for a walk or something? How have you been?

  Alexandra Maguire I've missed you, too. It's great to see you *she hugs and kisses her cheek* come in, have a seat on the couch *she sits beside her* I'm good now that your here *she smiles* I don't know, what do you feel like doing? *just as Jenna was about to answer, Jax sits beside her and barks*

  Jenna Darrow *I laugh at Jax's attempt for attention and crouch down next to him*Hello darling Jax. Do you want to go for a walk?* At his answering yip I look up at Alexandra* Well, I guess that is our answer. Is there anything I can do to help?

  Alexandra Maguire No, just give me a minute to change and we're out *quietly not to wake her mate, she changes into sweats and sneakers. Leaving a note on the night stand with her lip print, that she's out walking the dogs on the premises she lightly kisses his cheek. A smile forms across his face and softly growls. Walking back into the living room she whistles for Bella* let's go, girl. We're going for a morning walk with Jenna *barking, she comes running into the living area. Seeing Jax and her sister ready to go, we head out closing the door behind us*

  Jenna Darrow *I laugh as Jax and Bella lead us to the front door and wait impatiently for one of us to open it. When Alexandra opens it they both go running out into the yard* They will stay close won't they Alex?*I giggle as Jax runs circles around Bella, trying to get her to chase him. He takes off to the left with Bella hot on his heels. Wandering slowly behind them I catch up with all the goings on with Alex & Kade. It had been so long since we had time to spend just chatting and this felt good, really good.* I've missed spending time like this with you Sis, things get so busy and time flies by so quickly that it seems like forever since we last talked.

  Alexandra Maguire Yes, they won't wander off to far. Especially Jax, he'll enjoy his play with one eye watching us *she laughs, hooking her arm with Jenna's, walking down the path towards the open field* I agree, it has been some time since we talked. Well, with all the research going on since the expedition to Prague and you with the journals *she shrugs her shoulders* like you said! time flies *looking up ahead, she sees the dogs running and barking about.   Jenna Darrow *laughing with my best friend I relax for the first time in a long while.* It is so nice to get out like this. We have all been busy, hopefully we can do something soon to break things up some. Maybe have a night out, just us.*I laugh thinking about how much convincing that would take*

  Alexandra Maguire We can begin by running, shopping or a day at the spa *she laughs* It doesn't matter what we do, I always enjoy spending time with you *walking towards the stables, we visit Lily. She nays, happy to see us. Jax and Bella run in while we brush and feed her* hey, I'm serious about running. It will help take your mind from your memories of the ancient one.

  Jenna Darrow *looking over Lilly's back at Alexandra, I smile*That sounds like a great plan. Sometimes I feel like my life isn't my own anymore. It's so hard. I don't even know how to explain it.*patting Lilly on the next I turn to leave the stall.*Maybe a good long run will help.*I think about it for a minute while I pat Jax* But a day at the spa sounds...divine.   Alexandra Maguire *feeding Lily the last apple, she pats her mane and follows Jenna out of the stall* Jenna, I know writing your thoughts and dreams 'his thoughts and dreams' will come useful one day, helping our warriors to understand him but if you ever want just an ear to listen *she looks at her sister* I'm here. I know Brock is there for you and all, just remember that I was the one that brought you moose jerky, biscuits and gravy from Pop Toms late at night *she laughs* Seriously, anytime *hooking arms, we start the walk back towards the compound, Jax and Bella along either side of us, she smiles* A long hard run then spending the rest of the day at the spa sounds great. We can probably start planning after we have a bite to eat. Just our luck savannah has brunch already set up

  Jenna Darrow *Strolling across the frozen ground I realize just how fortunate I am. My best friend ever is right here with me all the time. Whenever I need her she is just a quick walk down the hall. I reach up and hug her tight*Thank you so much Alexandra, I know I have been kind of distant lately but I am trying.*Hearing her stomach growl they both laugh.*Thank God that Savannah has food ready. Pop Toms used to make the best jerky. Part of me misses our old life, but I wouldn't trade now for anything. Brock is my everything. The darkness of those days was...daunting. I couldn't imagine my life without Brockin it now.*Reaching the door I reach out to open it and let the dogs in ahead of us.*
