Hunter GenOne *After making plans
for a night out with Gideon
and Savannah,
Corinne and I made
our way up to the Range Rover to meet Gid and Savy.* I'm glad we are going
tonight. It's nice to get out of the compound for a while to do something other
than patrol. Could be kind of fun.
Corinne Bishop *Climbing
into the back seat she straps herself in. Excited to have a night out with her
mate and family. Patting the space beside her* Savannah sit back here with me.
Gideon Breed *Lifting Savannah by
the waist and hauling her up into the Rover, I smile at Corinne before
jumping in shotgun next to Hunter.
Hitting the navigation system up, I check the directions which I have already
downloaded. Buckling my seat belt, only because it makes my mate feel better, I
hit the garage remote from my cell and give Hunter the all clear to back it
out*
Savannah Dupree *slipping on her Uggs as she hears her mate calling her name, she grabs her phone and puts it in the back pocket of her jeans. Smiling as she came out of the bedroom she took her mates hand getting up on her toes to kiss his cheek* This is going to be fun! *they get to garage just as Corinne gets into the rover* Hey guys, hope you’re ready for a good time! *giving Gideon a
kiss as he lifts her into the rover next to Cory as Gideon closes the door they
start to chat about the evening to come*
Hunter GenOne *Listening to the chatty cathy, I followed the directions to the farm. As we got closer we saw signs advertizing hayrides, a corn maze and apple cider.* I think we are here guys. *Parking the Rover, I got out and took Corinne's
hand, making our way to the entrance.*
Corinne Bishop *Grasping
Hunters hands tightly as they walk up to the admission stand. Hunter pays
the admission fee. Handing out the maps at the entrance of the corn maze he
tilts his head the look in his eyes communicating his unspoken question.
Leaning into her mate she smile* It will be fun, think of this as a mission to
root out rogues.
Gideon Breed *Chuckling
as Corrine reassures Hunter, I clasp him on the shoulder* yeah big guy, let's
play rogue seek and find. *Taking Savannah's hand after we've had our neon pink wrist bands applied by a rather awe struck teen, we cross under the corn stalk archway and enter the main yard. Double checking the weapons under my coat as I watch Hunter subtly
do the same. We make our way into the Halloween village*
Savannah Dupree *holding
on to her mate as the walk she looks up at the sky thinking that the night is
very beautiful she smiles as they walk under the archway* Remember babe don't
you dare scare me in there...
Hunter GenOne *Following Gideon and Savannah to the beginning of the maze, I nod to him and Corinne and
I go in one direction and they in another. Scanning the area, he smiled at her
with the map.* Ok How many possible exits? *Hearing a giggle, two teenagers run
past us, going deeper into the stalks.*
Corinne Bishop *Tugging Hunter sleeves
before he barrels though the wall of corn stalk. She suddenly squeals in fright
as a ghoul jumps out in front of them. Pulling her into a protective embrace.
Growling loudly, the costumed humans eyes widen in fright as he turn tails and
runs into the night*
Gideon Breed *I
let Savannah lead us through the maze, I haven't told her that I viewed the
entire thing via satellite and have memorized all the pathways that lead to an
exit. She holds tight to my hand as I keep watch around us. I hear a startled
sound, followed by a low growl, and laugh knowing Hunter has run into his first
maze henchman. I step a little closer to Savannah, knowing someone could jump
out at us at any time*
Savannah Dupree *hearing
the screams from other people in the maze has me very nervous, holding on to Gideon's
hand I dig my nails into his skin. I walk slowly just waiting for something to
happen when someone else screams making me jump turning in that direction.
Still looking back but not seeing anything I keep walking and as I turn I let
out a scream as I lay eyes on the first of the mazes little tricks*
Hunter GenOne *Moving
through the maze, I held Corinne close.* Lets go this way. *Hearing a scream and a chainsaw, I shook my head* Damn kids. *A vampire jumped out in front of us and put his hands in the air* ~I want to suck your blood bla bla bla~ We don't say bla bla bla. Get better fangs. *Moving past him, I laughed at the look in his face.*
Corinne Bishop *Laughing softly as she clings closely to her mate. They wind their way through the maze.. Coming up on another dead end she looks at her map. Twisting her mouth in thought she looks up at Hunter and
ask him to lift her up on his shoulders. Looking over the corn rows she sees
they are nearing the exit* OK guys we need to back track to the last opening
and make a sharp turn right. Feeling Hunter's grip tighten around her thighs he
bulldozes through the corn.* Hunter! *Looking back she see Savannah and Gideon following
closely behind.*
Gideon Breed *Following
behind Hunter and Corinne my
arms holding Savannah as she clings to my back. Savannah laughs as she and
Corinne compare notes on their time in the maze as we make our way to the hay
ride. Showing our bracelets to the kid at the entrance we gather in line behind
about ten other people waiting for the next tractor to arrive*

next to Corinne talking as we wait for the next tractor to arrive
we chat about the corn maze and how much fun we were having*
Hunter GenOne *Seeing the John Deere come around the corner, it stopped to let the passengers off before driving to where we were waiting. Walking up to the steps, the kid stops us.* ~We only have room for two more. You can wait or split up.~ Neither. We can sit. The ladies will sit on our laps.* Not waiting for his response. I get on the wagon with Corinne, Gid and Savy right behind. Sitting down, I pull
Corinne on my lap as Gideon does the same with Savannah.
With a lurch, the tractor moves forward.*
Corinne Bishop *Resting
her head against his shoulder she snuggles into his warmth. The air had gotten
cooler as the night waned. The light of the Apple House was coming into view*
Babe do you think we could get some apples and pumpkins? * Hunter
kissed her and told her she could have whatever she wanted. Kissing him, she
looks over at Savannah* Savvy do you think you could make one of your
wonderful Dutch Apple pies?
Gideon Breed *Leaning
back against the wooden rails of the hay filled trailer, I watch as a boy
dressed in a ninja costume stares at Hunter and I , I smile wide at him and
wink, nodding my head towards Hunter* Don't worry kid, the big guy is a super hero, think of him as the Incredible Hulk. I laugh as Savannah smacks my leg and tells me to leave the poor kid alone, I see the little guy smile, then duck in against his Mom. Looking at Corinne I tug in Savannah's hair and tease her, saying she does make the best apple pie I've ever smelled*
Savannah Dupree Sure,
anything for you sis! *hitting Gideon's
leg after he teases the little boy I lean back into his worm body until we come
to a stop in front of the apple house. Getting out we walk in seeing all the
fresh produce, walking over I look at a few apples and pumpkins picking a dozen
apples and two pumpkins* I will even make some pumpkin pies! *laughing as Corinne closes
her eyes at the mention of my pumpkin pie. Over in the corner I see jugs of
apple cider and pick up about for to make sure there is enough for everyone*
Hunter GenOne *Grabbing
two bushels of apples, I saw Corinne looking
over the pumpkins* Pick out a couple babe. We can carve them if you want.
*Picking up the box of pumpkins, we made our way to the check out. Feeling a
tug on my pants I turn to see the little boy from the hayride.* ~Mister? Are
you really a super hero?~ *Smiling, I crouched down to his level.* Yeah I guess
you would say that. ~Cool Hulk is my favorite~ *Before I could answer, he ran
off to find his mom. After paying for the items, we made our way to the car.
Loading them into the back of the Rover, We climbed in and made our way home. *
