*Sitting at the computer, searching for a good book to download onto my kindle I hear a tone that I received an e-mail. Opening the e-mail I see it's from Kade's father Kir. I read his reply accepting my invite. I replied back that I was very excited that they accepted and would be in contact with him soon with the details of their traveling arrangements. Hearing the sound of Jax and Bella, it meant my mate was back from taking them for their evening walk. Getting up from the PC, I greet them. Kade takes me into his arms, kisses me and asks* {Hey beautiful, what have you been up to?} *I smile* Nothing, just heading down to the kitchen for a fresh loaf of bread. *he cocks his head with a grin* {ah, really? fresh loaf?} *I kiss him* Yes, now let me go before it falls. *he chuckles. I walk down the corridor making a detour towards Lucan's office. Standing outside his door, I knock. He answers* {Come in}
*I open the door to see Lucan sitting behind another new desk* Good evening, Lucan *he looks up from his desk. It’s not often that I come see him about anything, so I felt a little uneasy. Closing the files on his desk, he stands* {Good evening, Alex} *he comes from behind the desk, greeting me with a smile* {How are you? And what brings you to my office? I don’t see you here unless I call for your presence which isn't without your mate.} *I smile, looking up at him before he gestures for me to have a seat. I sit crossing my legs, hands fisted in my lap and nervously telling him all the details of my mate’s birthday dinner and having his parents come in as a surprise for him* {Well, well, let me see here *he brings his hand up to his chin, he’s thinking. I take in a silent sigh* {So, Kade is turning another century *he chuckles* and you would like to surprise him by flying in his parents?} *I nod yes* {I see no reason why not, then again} *he’s looking at his desk pretty hard. I too look and roll my eyes before he turns around* Lucan, I can’t promise that Kade and the others won’t blow up your desk again but I will talk to him about maybe picking something else to blow up *hearing a deep growl, I turn my head away. I don’t think what I said came out right* {I will approve the surprise visit of your mates parents but it will only be for the day, Alex. And I will have Gideon make the necessary traveling arrangement} *I jump out of the seat, clapping my hand* Thank you, thank you Lucan. I can’t wait, yeahhhhh *I look at him with a big smile. He looks back at me grinning, shaking his head* {Alright female, Gideon will be in contact with you with the details} *before closing the door behind me, I glance back to see him still shaking his head* {Females, never will understand them}
