Outing: Doubledate with Hunter, Corinne, Kade and Alex

Hunter GenOne  April 3, 2013  *Parking in the heart of downtown DC, I pocket the keys and get out of the SUV. Walking around to the passenger side, I open the door for  Corinne as Kade and Alexandra exit the vehicle. We meet up on the sidewalk. Taking Cory's hand, I look at my brother and his mate* Are we ready?

Corinne Bishop *Holding on to Hunters hand tight I look around at the bright lights, smiling at Alex and Kade when they join us* I've never been here so, I'm up for anything tonight.

Alexandra Maguire *Standing on the sidewalk as Hunter and Corinne join us, I look around at the crowd of people as they pass us by* This city is beautiful, so much to see. I think this is going to be a lot of fun

Kade Breed *As I look around, my senses on alert, I grasp Alex's hand who squirms next to me. I look down at our hands, hers going white. I immediately let up, leaning in, I apologize and kiss her on the lips.* You're right baby, there is a lot to see.

Hunter GenOne *We begin to walk down the sidewalk. Our mates sandwiched between us, a strategic move made unconsciously. The noise level is incredible. The traffic on the streets congested, as well as the walkways. So many humans. In amongst those humans, we spot several Breeds. We acknowledge one another but never speak*

Corinne Bishop *Walking beside Hunter GenOne I stick close to his side but, after a bit I relax enough to give him room to breathe. He smiles down at me and leans down slightly as if to say something or kiss me just as I notice the White House and in .my haste to point it out I clip Hunter on the chin, smacking him. He looks mildly amused and I burst out laughing* I'm sorry, babe..really.

Alexandra Maguire *Squirming from Kade holding my hand to tight, I smile* It's ok, baby..no harm done *apologizing I hear a smack, looking over at Corinne, Hunter touching the side of his chin* are you ok? *I start to laugh*

Kade Breed *Chuckling at my brothers misfortune, we continue on down the walk, stopping to look through windows or to get our mates something to drink. I stop a vendor and choose a single rose, handing it to my mate* I love you, Alex...

Hunter GenOne *I try my best to look hurt before I begin to smile at my Cory. She rushes up to a vendor, ordering a latte', Alexandra at her side, ordering something different. Kade buys a rose for his mate. Not to be undone, I choose a rose for Cory as well. More relaxed, but remaining on alert, we all take a seat on a bench and watch the crowd*

Corinne Bishop *Returning to Hunter GenOne I kiss his chin softly before sitting down and reaching for his hand. He hands me the rose and I kiss him again for it, whispering how much I love him*

Alexandra Maguire *Walking over to the vendor to grab two latte's, glancing back at our mate's sitting on the bench we start to laugh* This is so nice being out with our mates. I can honestly say that they are actually enjoying themselves *returning to the bench Kade presents me with a rose* Thank you *she kisses him on his cheek*

Kade Breed *We sit and visit for awhile, talking and laughing. I find myself scanning the crowds. My eyes tracking a couple of young human males who stop at a corner, near an alley. A drug deal I think to myself as money exchanges hands as well as small packets. I glance over at Hunter, nodding to the interaction. He watches briefly before turning back to his mate. I wrap my arm around Alex's shoulder, pulling her closer to me.*

Hunter GenOne *I notice the varied looks that Kade and I get. It's nothing like it was 20yrs ago, but there prejudice minds still persist. I see signs posted in one or two storefronts - Humans only. I growl under my breath, wondering how they can still get away with that after all this time.*

Corinne Bishop *I watch people look at Hunter GenOne and Kade Breed and I want to tell them to go Fuck themselves. I snuggle closer to him, to warmth of his body and ask him if he's ready to go home. He nods and I sigh a little, more than ready.*

Alexandra Maguire *I wrap my arm around his waist as he draws me closer to him. Staring in the direction that he and Hunter were looking I knew our evening was about to come to an end* Hey, I'm over here. Don't let them spoil our night

Kade Breed *I look down at my mate and smile* They could never spoil our night. They aren't worth it. *I kiss her nose and nuzzle her a moment* Are you ready to go babe? *She nods and smiles as we all start the trek back to the SUV*

Hunter GenOne *We arrive back at the SUV and jump in. Starting it up, I take one last glance around our newest city and peel out of the parking spot, heading back to the new compound*

Sterling Chase  April 2, 2013  *storming down the hall towards Gideon Breed tech lab, I fling the door open and send the useless cell phone in a straight line with the snarky sarcastic breed-genius' head* This phone is totally fucked. I need a new one ,like now!!

Gideon Breed *Keeping my eyes on my monitor, I shoot a hand into the air catching the cell and set it on my desk. Pulling open a drawer, I grab a new smart phone and slide a preset data chip in it, then toss it over my head to Sterling* Next time make sure it isn't in your front pocket when that Gen One female of yours is feeling amorous.

*since my Love, Tavia Chase is working with Jenna Darrow's journals, I decide to hit the gym in the new compound. I grab a water and my running shoes and prepare for a long run on the treadmill. I select one of the custom programs that looks particularly brutal, must be one of Dante Malebranche's. Settling in to a nice pace, I enjoy the quick burn of my leg muscles*

Kellan Archer

*Kissing Mira goodbye he head down to the training center for a good workout. He was still waiting for Lucan and Tegan to decide what to do with him, he was officially dead to the world and even thought he had saved the elders and a lot of important humans and vampires alike he still just couldn’t show up back from the dead. He opened the door to the training center and stopped in his tracks, Sterling was in there working out one of the last males he wanted to run into; the look on the other vampires face said it all, he was not thrilled* Hey Sterling! How have you been man?

*catching the flash of the door opening out of the corner of my eyes, I look over to see Kellan Archer standing awkwardly in the doorway. I see his lips moving but I can't hear him over the loud roaring in my head. I jump off the treadmill and pound over to the young Breed I thought I'd never see again. The male I trained at my hand, the young one that I lost. Stomping towards you, I pull my arm back and crack my fist against the side of your head. As you fall to the ground I growl* That's for dying and hurting Mouse.

Kellan Archer

*Feeling time move in slow motion I see him toward me his fist moving toward my head. The next thing I know I'm looking up at him from a seated position* What the fuck man? I know I fucked up, and I know I hurt her! It's not like I wasn't hurt too!

I'm not fucking interested in anything coming out of your mouth right now, boy. *staring down at the face I thought I'd never see again, I grab your arm and jerk you up into an awkward hug* I'm just so fucking glad you're alive.

Kellan Archer 

*Once minute I'm on the floor the next I'm in his arms, hugging him back not really knowing if I should say something or not* I'm sorry man, I never meant to hurt anyone!

*setting you on your feet, I pat your shoulder, a little embarrassed by my overt display of emotion* Well, everything is as it should be now. You're here. You're breathing and you're with Mira Nicholas-Archer. *clearing my throat* Now, come on, you can spot me on the free weights.

Compound: Watching the Mates

Sterling Chase   March 25, 2013   *pacing the tech room along with every other male in the compound, I keep a steady eye on Gideon Breed as he monitors every traffic camera, bank camera and gas station camera in DC. Every eye in the room watches as the group of other-worldly beautiful females enters the restaurant. I see Aric tight with the group, his head flicking left and right, keeping a vigilant watch on his environment as our very life and the beat of our hearts has a "girls night out" at a restaurant in DC. Catching a slightly shaky breath, I try to reassure everyone* Aric is tight. Dante Malebranche trained him. Everything will be fine. *every male in the room snatches at their phone as texts fly through, assuring us that our Breedmates were enjoying their time away from the Compound.*

Lucan Thorne *Pacing the lab as he waits for Gideon to remotely take over the security system at Serendipity; fortunately the male is so skilled at his job he has total control of their cameras in minutes, Leaning in to look at Gabrielle and the other women through the lens of the camera he scans the room looking for any possible threats and watches as their dessert is delivered to the table. Deciding he has been patient long enough, he gives a nod to the warriors present, tells Gideon to keep his eyes on the women, and make sure back up is still nearby if Aric should need it, then makes for the door, Jogging to the garage and sliding behind the wheel of an SUV, heads for the restaurant.

{Final Death} The Aftermath

Lucan Thorne  March 13, 2013  *Pacing the length of his office, trying to abate the amber glowing in his eyes, filled with anger and utter disbelief at how a simple recon mission ended so unfavorably. How could the young warriors be so careless?
As the sound of multiple pairs of heavy boots echo down the hall, He seats himself behind his desk; giving a nod to Tegan who’s leaning against the wall impassively arms crossed in front of his chest. When Kellan, Mira and Nathan cross the threshold of his door way he mumbles a curse under his breath* Fuck, the Kid looks like hell. *Raising his voice as he meets three sets of eyes* what the hell happened out there?

Kellan Archer *Still feeling like crap as I step into Lucan’s office and see two pair of angry eyes. I want to look away but hold my gaze trying to find the words for what happened in the club*

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Despite being reassured by Kellan that there can be no bond between him and the female breed, I can't help but feel broken down inside. My eyes feel puffy from the tears that have been shed in the time between leaving the arena and entering the compound. I let go of Kellan's arm as we enter Lucan's office...I watch as Tegan's eyes scan over us and I know he is disappointed. I can see it in his eyes and hear it in his words. How many times has he taught us not to let our emotions get the better of us? When we stop at the desk, I am the first to speak up* It was a cage fighting ring, female breed like Tavia but trained in combat was in the center. They...they taunted us until someone volunteered to fight her.

Nathan Bishop *My gaze sweeps from Lucan to Tegan as I take note of their angry stances and my early training kicks in and I refuse to offer excuses. With little inflection in my voice, I repeat the events from the night including the intel on the female GenOne, Satora, that they had prior run ins with and her Breed handler, Diabolus, as Mira mentioned.* We have proof now who is behind Final Death.

Lucan Thorne *Listening to the events of the night, each of them presenting their own explanation , His anger boils over, *Banging his fist on the desk* You mean to tell me that sad excuse of a breed Diabolus and his Gen One lackey were able to goad three Order trained warriors into a fight? A fight that could have ended up with someone gravely injured, or even dead? *

Kellan Archer *I look Lucan in the eye as I state my case of the events* I had no other choice but to protect Mira, it was like they were expecting us to show up. *As Tegan moves near his words biting a little bit I open my mouth before I have time to think about what I’m doing* It’s not like I wanted to end the night beaten up and looking like an ass in front of you.

Mira Nicholas-Archer Don't get mad at Kellan, he was pushed into the cage because he was trying to save me from my stupidity. *I look up at Tegan and begin to feel as though I am shrinking in size.* She was vicious. *I mentally curse the tear that begins to fall from the corner of my eye* I can't stop it!! *I yell at them as I brush tears off my face* She licked his blood off her fingers!! *I exclaim before I even realize*

Nathan Bishop *Nodding, my mind went over the events and I know that our actions may not have be seen as the best, but it was what happened. I lay a hand on Mira's shoulder, silently giving her support.* Where do we go from here?

Lucan Thorne *Running his hand through his hair, he looks at Tegan as he makes his way back to his chair* First of all, go get yourselves properly taken care of, second, you are all off of rotation, I haven't even made my mind up as to how long, I'll speak to Tegan and he will let you know what we decide, *Looking at Mira's swollen eyes and tear streaked face, he decides to ease her suffering just a bit* Mira, you don't need to worry about that female being bonded to Kellan, We know from her encounter with another breed male that she is genetically incapable of bonding. *raising my voice again* Lastly get your asses out of my office. looking at you three is giving me a headache.

Nathan Bishop  February 18, 2013   -I sat at the computer screen staring at the words, wondering how Gideon deciphered this mess. Give me a rogue any day of the week instead of this greek. Hearing Mira and Kellan entering the room, I turn around and nod at my arm showing them the burn mark from the gunshot.- Where were you hurt?

Mira Nicholas-Archer Not too bad, just a scrape. *holding up my arm to show him the faded scrape scar* He got it worse though, I crunched his nuts. *giving them both a smile*

Kellan Archer *Lifting up my shirt I show them the already healing slice across my abdomen* I just can't get over how real it felt. It would be a great training tool for the breed! *walking over to the bed I take a seat and look over at Nathan* So what now, do we report this to Gideon and Lucan Now or wait until we have more information?

Nathan Bishop -Shaking my head- Not yet. Kell, I played off your game so progressed further into the game. At the end there was a message, “Death has a Match, visit us soon.” I've been playing around trying to find it on the internet but so far nothing. One of you want to give it a try?

Mira Nicholas-Archer Well that's not creepy at all! *wry grin* What did you use as the search terms? I can give it a try... *picking up his laptop and typing in a new search phrase.*

Kellan Archer *Getting up I start to pace the room thinking about the words then all of a sudden I stop and slowly turn around. Walking over to Mira, I lean over her and look at the screen* Hey Mouse try looking on the games web page, then type the words in the search bar and see what comes up!

Nathan Bishop -Watching the two of them work, I saw Mira's eyes light up when the search results started flowing on the screen. I look over their shoulders and there is our next lead. Local game matches. Meeting Kellan's eyes, I knew we were both thinking the same thing.- See what we need to do to get registered. After that we can take everything to Lucan and Gideon for an update.

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Clicking on "register"* Well boys, it looks like we're in luck. *turning to look at each of them* It's free to sign up, and you don't even have to put your real name. Just user names. *filling out forms for each of us: Archer, Bishop and Nicholas* And, we're signed up!

Kellan Archer *Watching as she fills out the forms and shuts down the computer I start thinking again* I wonder how long it will take to hear from them? *Looking at them once again I start for get a funny feeling* Listen you either of you think this was a little too easy? I mean how many humans would figure this out so fast? I'm certain who ever developed this game is somehow keeping track of who has bought the game!

Nathan Bishop -nods- I think you are right. I think you have to reach that level to get the information and it wasn't easy. Not sure how a human would even get close. Killing that assassin was like opening a portal. Ready to fill in the boss men?

Mira Nicholas-Archer I think you're right. *winking at Kellan* It's the only thing that makes sense. Lets tell Lucan what we've found.

Lucan Thorne   February 16, 2013   *Scrubbing his face with both hands he blows out a long sigh and pushes the file back on his desk. Tegan is fully confident that the three young warriors are well prepared for the mission, But While he waits for them to arrive, he can’t help but think of them as the children they had been when they landed on The Order’s doorstep. Nathan Bishop -Walking toward Lucan's office, my mind is going over all the possibilities I have heard the other warriors discussing and I look up to see  Mira  and  Kellan. Nodding, we enter the office and I take the chair closest to Lucan.-

Mira Nicholas-Archer *Entering Lucan's office ahead of Kellan, excited at the prospect of a mission for the three of us to go on! I smile at Nathan and take my seat to the right of the desk.* Hi Lucan!

Kellan Archer *Walking in after Mira I take my seat and wait for Lucan to speak. I look him in the as he starts to tell us what he has in mind for us*

Lucan Thorne *After greeting them, he starts right in with the info* you three are the perfect candidates to send for this mission, you are youthful and familiar with the gaming world, not to mention highly trained warriors. “Final Death” ever heard of it?

Nathan Bishop -nods- It’s a virtual reality game where humans can pair themselves against breed fighters in a to the death match. Pretty barbaric and gruesome from what I've seen.

Mira Nicholas-Archer *leaning forward* Sort of...*looking back and forth between Nathan and Kellan* I would definitely need more information on it, like Nathan said, it sounds gruesome.

Kellan Archer *Nodding as Nathan talks about the reality game* I have heard some young humans speaking of the it when I have been on patrol, I never thought anything of it. I mean it's seemed like ever other game that is out there!

Lucan Thorne *addressing all three* The problem is, that the teens playing these games have been turning up missing or worse, dead. The humans in their ignorance have decided that although it’s a human designed and engineered game played by other humans, the Breed must somehow be responsible for the treacherous acts.

Nathan Bishop -Scoffing I look up at Lucan.- Let me guess, it's our problem now? What do you want us to do?

Mira Nicholas-Archer Of course it's our problem...the humans have a new group to place blame on. *rolling my eyes*

Kellan Archer *Looking from Nathan back to Lucan* How do you want us to handle this? I mean how far can we go to find out just who is behind this, and what do we do when we have all the information?

Lucan Thorne *He sees the mixed emotions among them* I want you to do some research first. Check in with Gideon for the technical aspects, and take your mission ops from Tegan. first we investigate, then when we have proof of what is going on, we can take whatever action necessary. *Pointing at each of them and meeting their eyes* But you three better check in like clockwork, and watch each others backs *nodding his chin towards the door he dismisses the trio*

Nathan Bishop -Nodding again, I rise from the chair and wait on Mira to leave.- Consider it done.

Mira Nicholas-Archer I always have their backs. *smiling at both of them as I get up to leave*

Kellan Archer *rising from my chair I give one last look to Lucan* We won't let you down! *I turn and leave closing the door behind me*

Nathan Bishop -As the door closed behind Kellan, I stop a few feet down the hall and lean against the wall. It wasn't fighting but a mission was a mission.- I think we need to go play this game. I want to know what we are facing and getting into first hand.

Mira Nicholas-Archer I agree. *standing between my two best friends, looking up at their impressive heights* Do either of you know where to get it?

Kellan Archer *Agreeing with both of them I think for a minute* Well I would think that we could get it at any video store. There is one not too far from here, I've seen human kids hanging out in front of the building!

Nathan Bishop -wry grin- Good idea, we will probably need to purchase all the gear to go with it instead of just buying it online. I'm driving!

Mira Nicholas-Archer *playfully nudging Kellan and chuckling* Well, I don't play boy video games!! *winking at him* Shotgun!

Kellan Archer *Looking at Mira and shaking my head* Let's get going, oh by the way Mouse I've got shotgun!
