Halloween 2013: Checking the Decorations with Gabby, Lucan, Gid, and Savy

Gabrielle M. Thorne   *Pulling her coat out of the closet she calls to her mate letting him know Gideon was ready to test the decorations that they have spooked the grounds with. Her veins are buzzing with excitement as she shouts* Come on VAMPIRE! I don't want to miss this...*hearing a low growl as he stomps past her, arching his brow in mild annoyance* Baby, you know how I love this time of year and I cant wait to have everyone over. *Kissing him softly on the cheek as she tugs on his pinky towards the door* If that genius of ours is as excited as I am, I bet Savannah is ready to calm him down a bit. *Laughing as they exit the patio doors she looks for her brother and is ready for anything*  — feeling SpOoKy with Lucan Thorne and Gideon Breed.

Lucan Thorne *Letting his mate lead him from the house, he tries not to be too disgruntled by her elated mood. He has never understood her love of this particular human holiday, although the irony of being mated to a Breed is not entirely lost on him. As they enter the outer grounds, he is surprised to see the magnitude of the set up this year, although he shouldn't be consider he knows the force of nature Gabrielle is. Combine that with Gideon's love of anything remotely robotic, and a spectacular spooky spectacle can be expected*

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Her smile so big it hurts her lips, all the little ghouls and corpses come to life, the smoke and lights just right. Halloween Yard Haunt: Production 2012

Here is our home haunt, display of decorations, and props we made for Halloween ...

Lucan Thorne *With the excited pounding of Gabrielle's heart his blood pulses with her joy, It is hard to not show it when he is almost knocked over by her happiness. He Gladly steps into the fog filled cemetery with her behind him, the screams and cackling sounds filling the night. So far no sign of Gideon, but that male knows how to stay well hidden if he so chooses*

 

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Looking through the fog she notices the ground moving under a tombstone. In amazement she leans in closer not noticing her footing and nearly falling into the display. Grabbing onto her mate shock on her face* Baby, this is incredible...look there...the ground is moving like a zombie is coming out...

Lucan Thorne *Reaching out a hand to steady her, he watches as she closely inspects the display. Gideon, has it set up and looking great, even impressing his mate, which is no easy feat*

Gideon Breed *Watching from the top of the "crypt, which is really one of our storage sheds, I jump to the ground with a growl, but make enough sound from my perch first to let Lucan know I'm there. I watch as he slides a hand quickly around Gabrielle's waist, to lessen the blow of my dramatic entrance that's meant to scare her*

Savannah Dupree *watching from my hiding spot as Gideon jumps down to scare Gabrielle, I shake my head as she jumps* Babe that was just mean... *smiling as I come in to view* Sorry sis, I didn't know he was going to do that or I would have said something...

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Feeling the tug at her waist and the jolt of nerve from her mate she knows something is up, using her gift she peers into the night mist and cringes as the butterflies start to flutter in her stomach* Luc, baby, remember you are supposed to protect me...from all that go bump in the night *Pulling her hand to his chest she swallows hard as her fingers fist into his hoody. Jumping into his frame as Gideon launches forward she looses her breath. Seeing her sister come to view she starts to breath knowing Savannah will take care of him sooner or later* Gideon, Savannah...How are you tonight? This is amazing don't you think * Trying to keep her composure she can Feel her mate trying to release himself out of her grip*

Lucan Thorne *Smirking as his mate's heart settles into it's regular rhythm, he greets Gideon and Savannah with a half smile* Great job Gid, It's nice to see you out here keeping him in line Savannah. *He tightens his grip on Gabrielle, as she presses her palm against him*

Gideon Breed Thanks, it was fun building the sets and scenery, but my favorite of course were the Disney World Hollywood style animatronics we got in this year. Gabby did a great job picking out the creepy stuff, and directing the show. *Taking Savannah by the hand* I wanted Savy to see everything going on out here, she has been helping me sync the sound to the movements, she has a pretty good eye for it.

Savannah Dupree *greeting Lucan then hugging Gabrielle I move over to stand by Gideon as he takes my hand* I'm good, I just wanted to come out and see what my mate has been working on and its great sis. I've been helping out some but I wanted to see the finished product; and you know someone has to keep Gideon in line. *winking at Lucan* I think everyone will enjoy themselves, its going to be a nice night of fun and games. *putting my hand over my mouth to cover a yawn I look over to my mate* well I think it's time for us to leave you to enjoy your night. *pulling Gideon by the hand* Come on babe its past my bedtime and you know how I get when I don't get my beauty sleep... Good night you two!

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Waving to her sister and brother she turns to her mate seeking his warmth and protection as her nerves are still rattled a bit. Leaning her head against his chest she laughs and sternly speaks* That was not protecting mate, that was preparing...quite the opposite if you ask me *Pinching his side laughing more as he pulls from her pain* Your so naughty mate...that was clearly a set up..

Lucan Thorne *Chuckling, he leans down to kiss her head then glances over all of the equipment, he concentrates and the night goes still and quiet, the electronics all powered down with his will. He gathers Gabrielle tighter against his chest, breathing her in deeply as the natural night sounds and darkness move in around them* So Mrs. Thorne, Shall we take a cue from the genius and his mate and find something a little more adrenaline filled to do with ourselves for the rest of the evening? *He smiles and kisses her deeply when she turns her warm brown eyes to him. With ease, he scoops her up from the leaf littered ground, using his speed to take them quickly to their room, tumbling the lock in place as his hands becoming busy with revealing his favorite sight*

• Tavia Chase *walks in and closes the door to formulate her scary surprise* Ghosts, I read a book on how to rig things to move on their own, table chairs stacking themselves, beds shaking, and weird noises. *laughs* I think it would be fun to play a little Halloween spooky joke on the men.

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire Sounds like you already have it all thought out *motioning for her to have a seat on the coach* so, tell me all about this book with all the ghostly jokes to be played on our dear brothers and mates *she sits, listening intensely as she fills her in on the scheme*

  
  
• Tavia Chase *grins widely * So it will all be controlled by remote controls each one of us breed mates will have. Gideon's computer will start typing itself, Kade will see ghostly images appear and disappear, and in the conference room the chairs will be stacked a different way daily.

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire *Smiling* The Haunting Mansion of The Breed, nice. Send them running with their tails between their legs. When do we begin? *rubbing her hands together*

  
  
• Tavia Chase Well we could start now, I just need to loop the video feed for the room that we are in working on. I have everything here in storage that we need to pull this off. Meet you in the conference room in about twenty minutes, I need to run loop the feed without Gideonnoticing. Then I can snap the self typing device into his computer. *walking out quickly, I head into the computer lab, knowing that Gideon is with Savy at this time. Loading the small device into his computer, looping the video feed to the conference room, setting it to loop daily for twenty minutes at the same time. Pulling up the feed from me entering the lab, erasing it and running out of the room to meet Alex*

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire *Going over in her head what Tavia had in mind for the guys, she finishes getting herself together and settling the dogs in their room before heading out to meet her in the conference room* This is going to be so funny *she gathers the chairs while she waits. Looking up as she places the last chair, Tavia comes running into the conference room* that didn't take very long, did anyone see you?

  
  
• Tavia Chase *Running up the hall* No, but we have twenty minutes at this time everyday to do these chairs. *Running in the conference room, we begin to stack the chairs, some upside down, some side ways, one hanging from the ceiling, and the others stacked all crazy. Hooking up the hologram maker and testing it, laughing hard when a ghostly figure walks through the table and into the wall* Ready? We need to get out the video feed will start up again in a few minutes.

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire *laughing as the ghostly figure walks into the wall* Awesome *walking out into the hall* Ok, now? you said something about Kade seeing ghostly images appear and disappear. How's that going to work?

  
  
• Tavia Chase *Grins* I am putting the same hologram in your quarters. *Walking up the hall casually and laughing*

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire *Returning to my quarters, Tavia and I discuss how I am to play out the hoax on Kade while she's hooking up the hologram maker then hands me the remote. Taking the remote, I test out the ghostly figure as it appears briefly then disappears* Sweet *nodding her head in approval*

  
  
• Tavia Chase So if you hit this button the figure appears, turns it's head, and gives and evil smile. *watching her hit the remote, we both start laughing* That is enough for today. I cannot wait for Gideon to be in the lab later and his computer starts typing random stuff. *hugs her sister and heads out* We can do more tomorrow, while we are stacking the chairs.

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire Alright, see you tomorrow *Closing the door behind her, she leans against it and hits the button on the remote again. Snickering, she puts the remote away till later*

Halloween Fun: Conference Room Scare

• Tavia Chase *Sneaking down early before my brothers, nephews, and son go in for the evening meeting. Jumping up, laying on the ceiling rafter, watching as Kade and Aric walk into the conference room. Stopping in their tracks at the chairs being stacked every which way in an intricate pattern. Pressing her remote a ghost figure stands staring at them with a wicked smile, then flickers away*
  
  
• Brock Breed *walking into the conference room behind Kade and Aric. Looking up I see the chairs in disarray like a Jenga game. Just then a sickly looking ghost looks back at me with an evil grin. Shaking my head to clear it, I look back again and the apparition is gone.* What in the blue fuck was that???

  
  
• Aric Chase *looking at Brock* So wait, you saw that too? Thank the Gods! I thought I was goin' crazy for a minute!

  
  
• Kade Breed *snorts* It finally happened. You guys have finally lost your last marble. HOLY FUCK! *Jumping three feet at the sight of the chairs* Who the HELL has that much time? *trying to keep my heart from slamming through my chest* The fuck is going on?

  
  
• Tavia Chase *Covers her mouth from her secret vantage point, trying to hold in the laughter. Texting Alexandra* *sending it, she hits the other button on the remote, the ghost appears, turns towards Brock, Kade, and Aric. The hologram flies at them and the hidden speaker in a ghostly voice shrieks "Getttttt out of my houseeee!" As she disappears again, I slowly crawl backwards, going in through the vent, jumping down into the storage closet and making my way to the lab*
  

  
  

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire *Receiving a text from Tavia that the guys had seen the conference room, I laugh, wishing I could've seen the expressions on their faces when they walked in. Texting her back *hits the send button. I knew next she would be on her way to the lab*

  
  
• Hunter GenOne *Walking down the hallway, I hear what sounds like screaming.* What the hell is that? * It sounded as though it was coming from the vent above. Stopping and listening closely, I waited to hear it again.* I must have been imagining things. *Moving back down the hall away, I heard a thud and then another scream. Calling out, no one answered. Shaking my head, I continued down the hall, wondering where the hell the screaming was coming from.*

  
  
• Tavia Chase *Wiping my eyes from the tears pouring down my face as Alexandra walks in. Pulling up the video feed of the conference room to show her* Oh my goodness this is awesome. So today, I am looping the video for the living room so that we can set up something there, then I will loop the video for the workout room. *smiling widely*

  
  
• Aric Chase *Screaming as the ghost flies towards us I start to back towards the door, tripping over Kade who is haulin' ass, we both fall down in a heap. We look up in time to seeBrock headed our way at a dead run. He catches his foot on the leg of one of the chairs and goes sprawling into the mountain of half-hazardly stacked chairs, causing some to come tumbling down on top of him.*

  
  
• Carys Chase *Hearing a female scream, I head down the hall. Walking in on Aric Chase,Kade Breed and Brock Breed all sprawled on the floor.* What in the hell?

  
  
• Aric Chase *laying on the floor catching my breath I look up at Carys*Sis, did you see that shit? *looking back to where the ghostly apparition was.*Damn, it's gone. I swear there was something there a second ago. Brock, man, are you alright?*He snarls and starts tossing chairs*

  
  
• Carys Chase *Stepping back and looking around before offering to help Aric and the others up.* I didn't see anything, just heard the screams.

  
  
• Aric Chase *Gaining my feet with Carys's help I head over to Brock and remove the last couple of chairs, helping him up as Carys helps Kade up*

• Alexandra Maguire *Walking into the lab, she pulls up a chair before handing her a tissue* really, you laughing in tears. Hurry up, let me see *she pulls up the video feed of the conference room, I see Brock and Aric’s reaction as they enter, seeing the disarray of the chairs. I laugh so hard, my sides hurt then practically fall out the chair when Kade jumps shouting ‘Holy fuck’* This is to funny. *continuing watching the video, she chuckles viewingHunter then Carys* this is awesome, sis. *turning to face her* Ok, you seem to have everything in order. Do you need me to do anything?
  
  
• Tavia Chase *Smirks* We still need to rig the work out room and the living room. *Tapping on the computer, giving them 30 minutes to work on the weight room, walking casually down the hall, talking like nothing is wrong. Making it to the weight room we begin to set up ghost holograms and microphones* this is gonna be so awesome, did you see Kade's face? Tonight make him think you are asleep and click the ghost button.

  
  
• Alexandra Maguire yea, his expression was priceless *I help with the set up* This was a great idea, Tavia and by the reactions of everyone so far, it's working *placing the last of the holograms and microphones* That should do it. As for tonight *nodding my head* I think I can handle it

  
  
• Kade Breed *Peeking my head out around the corner and looking straight down the hallway I am about to enter. My eyes shift up, nothing there. They shift to the right, nothing there. They shift to the left, STILL nothing there. I shake my head* Fucking ghosts. Always disappearing and shit. Making me look like a crazy asshole. * I take a deep breath and step around the corner like nothing happened and run smack into Lucan* FUCKING GHOSTS ARE EVERYWHERE..... *realizing who I had run into* .... Shit

Patrol: Lucan, Dare, and Kade

Lucan Thorne   *Easing back against the SUV, He listens as the scraping sound of boots echoes through the hall. He nods, not moving from his position as Dare strides through the doorway. Pride fills him as he looks his son over. The young warrior is geared up for their patrol, just one of the countless number he will complete in his service to The Order. The garage fills with the sound of more boots on concrete as Kade enters the garage, he's also geared up and ready to go, his duffle slung across his back. Finally moving off the SUV, he reaches in to his pocket, palming the keys and climbs into the driver seat, watching as the boys climb in too* Kade, I hope you triple checked that bag, and it had better be filled with weapons. — with Kade Breed and Dare Thorne.

Dare Thorne *snickering under my breath* Dad, I already asked him about his bag. I don't want either of us to end up like Uncle Brock did. Mom would have a fit. So, what's our plan for tonight?

Kade Breed *Narrowing my eyes at Lucan and his "Mini Me"* I fucking checked it. *shaking it up and down so they could hear the clatter of backup ammo clips and extra rounds* Shit sound like deodorant to you?

Lucan Thorne *Meeting Kade's eyes in the rear view, he almost smirks before snatching his phone as it chirps a message from Gideon. He looks over the addresses, then heads out of the gates. They head into the night towards the first address which is in one of the ailing parts of the city*

Dare Thorne *seeing Dad nearly smirk, I grin to myself. Looking out the window as we speed up, I wonder where we're going and what we will encounter. I resolve to make my Father proud, and show him how fit I am to be by his side.*

Kade Breed *raising a brow and looking between the two of them, snorting* You two need a moment? *chuckling and ducking Lucan's death rays from the rearview, I turn my attention to checking the weapons and ammo count in the bag I grabbed* So, you think we will fall into some action? Shoot-out, a stand off? Hand to hand, maybe?

Lucan Thorne *Entering town, he navigates the side streets, winding his way through the decaying neighborhood where known blood dens and human drug houses populate the streets. He pulls up a block for the address, where they step from the car and go the rest of the way on foot. He nods to the boys flanking him, he knows their senses are on high alert now. They silently make their way to the run down store front office*

Dare Thorne *As we get out of the car, I look around to survey the neighborhood. It's a pretty foul neighborhood. All my Breed senses are on full tilt boogie as I make sure Dad is covered as we head up to the front office. Looking back to Kade, I breathe a little sigh of relief seeing that he is fully armed, and with weapons, not feminine hygiene products. Quickly stifling my grin, I bring my full attention to the task at hand. As we reach the door, Dad wills the lock to open and we enter. It appears to be an empty, abandoned office, but we need to make a sweep to be sure.*

Kade Breed *Stepping inside the dank, decrepit office, I look down and notice the familiar footprint of Kellan's boots* Yo, didn't Gideon say Kellan was the one that found the papers? *Following the prints throughout the rest of the office, I meet back up with Lucan and Dare, finding nothing in the process* Looks like this place is deader than the set of Jersey Shore. You guys find shit?

Lucan Thorne *Closing the fuse box and following the green cables to each of their ends, he finds and photographs the busted circuit boards that Gideon asked him to look for, with nothing else in the abandoned office to see, they make their way back to the vehicle. Half way back he stops, breathing deeply to scent the air, his fingers instinctively flex around the blade he has carried for almost a millennium. His warriors pause in their stride looking to him for their orders, his fangs punch from his gums as he growls* Blood, and the filthy stench of rogue

Dare Thorne *Just as Dad mentions rogues, my senses also pick it up. With blades drawn, I take off down the side of the building, with Kade close behind. Coming to a beat up dumpster, the coppery smell of blood mixed with the acrid odor of rogue fills my nostrils. Peering around the side of the dumpster, the trail of blood is stronger. Following it to the back of the alley, where two large rogues are bent over their hapless human prey.* Kade! Back here! *Looking into the eyes of the first rogue, it's like looking into the soul of hell. Slicing my blade through the air, I neatly detach his head from the rest of his body, leaving him to disintegrate*

Kade Breed *Booking it after Dare, my hand immediately goes to my hip as I hear his voice call out a confirmed rogue confrontation. Pulling the gun from my holster as I vault over the dumpster, I narrowly avoid the path of dare's blade and clear a bullet from the chamber, tagging the second rogue right between the eyes* Rough night for the buffet line, boys.

Lucan Thorne *Focused on them as they make their way from the alley, he looks Dare over with a discerning eye. checking to make sure he and Kade are both uninjured. seeing that they handled themselves well and are unscathed, he approaches the human they have rescued, his injuries are minor, and will heal. He wipes the encounter with the rogues from his memories, replacing them with a back alley brawl before sending him on his way* Ok boys, if you're finished dancing, lets knock out the rest of these addresses so we can get home. Dare I promised your Mother we would help with the last of the Halloween prep.

Halloween 2013: Gabby and Gid unpack

Gabrielle M. Thorne posted to‎ Gideon Breed  October 12, 2013  *I'ts 9pm and she's full of energy as she thinks about set ups and ghoulish frights littered across the mansion grounds. Walking the hallway toward the lab where her Dr. Jekyll waits on her to go over tricks and treats she smiles. It's going to be a spooky night and she can't wait to see the finished product. Arriving at the door to the lab she taps and whispers in a scary voice* Let me in I'm your friend....

Gideon Breed *Smiling at Gabrielle as she energetically bounds into the lab. I have the contents of boxes and crates lying out everywhere as I search for all the parts and pieces of the animatronics. Motioning her over to my work station, I grab a zombie arm* Check this out Gabby *Holding the arm up while the fingers wiggle and the arm writhes in my hand*

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Eyes wide she nears her brother as he leans the hand up against his neck pretending that it is choking him. It's one of the most gruesome things laid out for her to play with. Grabbing her chest as her eyes wonder over some of the animatronics. Picking up a decayed torso she looks to her brother* Ooooohhh I like this one Gid, how does he work? Does he drag himself on the ground like the zombie in ~The Walking Dead~?

Gideon Breed *Nodding as I grab the remote for the torso, Gabby shrieks with pleasure as the torn up filthy blood covered body starts to wriggle across the floor, dragging itself by one outstretched hand* You definitely know your zombies. I have tons of stuff to still put together and activate, anything in particular you want finished first?

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Tapping her chin in thought* The grave yard was just finished last night I think we need to start setting them out there first then work our way out. That area is the heaviest electrical area we have within the property, the rest are solar powered with some dry ice and smoke machines here and there. *Pulling out the floor plan as she takes a seat next to Gideon she points to the north lot* This area here is heavy with witches and pumpkins and next to it is where the cemetery starts. I would like to blend them if possible. The witches are animatronic and can connect with the zombies.

Gideon Breed *Looking over the plans, I point to the section to the far right* I have two extra power sources in this area in case it's needed, though I doubt it will be also, over by the west gate, I have all of the music and sound effects cued up and ready to go, after the last of the robotics are in place, I'll use the computer program to sync everything.

Gabrielle M. Thorne Nice Gid. Just remember the south end of the property by Lilly's stable is where the bon fire will be, I have the skeletons and hay barrels already I just need the lights rigged in the trees. You think I could get that controlled remotely or from Lilly's stable? Hey, did you get the banshees in as well? Those are some wicked females...*looking over the table not seeing them*

Gideon Breed *Cracking a wide smile at the mention of my favorite wailing spirits* Oh, I've got the lovely lasses, they are already floating from their cables. Once the sound is synced in, they will be a thing of beauty.

Gabrielle M. Thorne *Cackling like a witch, clanking my finger nails together with my head tilted to the side* Excellent Igor excellent, you are a good little minion. *Standing from her chair she turns to leave, looking over her shoulder she hisses* Be safe my little Igor...for the monsters in our dreams are often reality....

Scrolling through the list Gideon had procured from the database, he studied the information gathered on possible leads. There was a connection somewhere, and they were missing it. He grunted as Aric sauntered into the room* You realize I expect punctuality?

Aric Chase *hearing the snarl in Tegan's voice he checks his watch quickly* I apologize Boss, time got away from me. Won't happen again.*glancing at the info I ask* Is it making any sense yet?

Tegan GenOne Not yet. It might when we visit the place tonight. Gideon sent me some possible leads we can check out. A few humans who like dipping their feet in bigger waters than they can swim - Breed business *He stroked his chin and rose to his feet, tossing the keys at Aric* you're our ride. Try not to kill us before we get there

Aric Chase *catching the keys he smiles* I won't Tegan!*heading out the door we head for the garage. Pulling out my weapons I check to be sure everything is good to go. Hopping into the driver's seat I start up the engine and wait for Tegan to load up.*

Tegan GenOne *situating himself in the vehicle, he doubled checked the co ordinates as they arrived at the destination. Strapping his weapons, he grunted as he scanned their environment. It was silent, very silent* this way

Aric Chase * following Tegan's lead I climb out and make sure I have everything I need. Keeping an eye on the many alleyways we pass but there was little activity and no breed activity at all* Seems like a quiet night tonight.

Tegan GenOne Aye *Knocking on the address door, he waited, Breed senses attuned to movement in the building. There was no sound, dead still. The lights were off, and the windows barred* They think this will keep us out?

Aric Chase *waiting at the door behind Tegan I wonder if we are going to find out anything tonight. The silence greeting us is almost deafening.*Want me to try going around the back?

Tegan GenOne *He nodded his consent, weapon cocked and sense ready for any surprises* Keep your blades up

Aric Chase *Pulling my best blade from it's sheath I advance toward the rear of the house. Checking in any windows to see if I can spot any movement. Nothing, silence and darkness is all the greeted me. Making my way to the back door I check to see if we were lucky and they left it unlocked. No luck. Careful to be as quiet as possible I use Breed ability to open the locks and quietly make my way inside. Texting Tegan to let him know I'm in~Tegan, inside building, checking things out.~ *Send*

Tegan GenOne ~If anything looks suspicious to you, take it for further analysis back in the lab~ *He waited outside, protection for the young Breed if he needed it*
