September 20, 2013 *feeling bored I walk
around our rooms cleaning things that are already cleaned. Moving from the
bedroom to the couch I sit. Reaching for the remote I start to scan the
channels trying to find something, anything to relieve the boredom. After a few
minutes I get up and start to pace thinking to myself* I need to get out of
here for a while! *grabbing a jacket I head for the front door thinking that a
walk would do me some good* —

Gideon Breed *Staring at the graph
lines on the tenth page in a series, my blood stirs as I feel the restlessness
in my mate. I Turn my body towards the door as I feel her moving through the
house. Pulling up the front door camera, I see her wrapped in her coat, stepping
into the cool night air. I Jump up from my chair and head for the door as I see
her heading for the gates. Quickly catching up to her, I silently fall in step
behind her, reaching out to touch her shoulder, I ask her just where she thinks
she's going. I'm startled by the huge scream she lets out as she leaps of the
ground, arms swinging*
Savannah Dupree *I'm so into my mission to get out of the house I don't sense or hear my mate coming up behind me, I let out a scream and almost jump out of me skin when I feel his hand on my shoulder and hear his voice, I breathe a sigh of relief putting my hand to my heart* Oh my god, Gideon you scared
the hell out of me, I just needed some air so I thought I would go for a walk!
Why are you sneaking around out here?
Gideon Breed *Laughing at her reaction, I pull her in to steady her rapidly beating heart, and drop a kiss on her lips* I don't sneak babe, I'm stealthy. Besides, where do you think you're going this time of night, alone, near the gate? *Lifting one brow and trying to sound annoyed*
Savannah Dupree *leaning against his chest after he kisses me I shake my head at his question* Well you have been so busy that I thought I would take a walk and I'm not going anywhere... I was going to stay on the grounds. And the last time I checked I was a grown woman and could come and go as I pleased! *feeling his body stiffen I lift me head from his chest to look up into his eyes* What's that look for? You know that if I were going to leave the grounds I would have said something to you...
Gideon Breed *Reacting to her words,
I take a step back, taking her hand as I talk* Babe, I know well that you are
all grown up, but that won't stop me from doing all that I can to keep you
safe, that includes being an overbearing jerk sometimes. *squeezing her hands* you
have been dealing with me for over 50 years , I hope you can make at least
three hundred more.
Savannah Dupree *looking in his eyes as he speaks* I know babe, but that doesn't mean I like to be ignored... *seeing his facial expression change I sigh, looking down for a minute I start to speak* I know you have a job to do but it would be nice if you remembered that you had a mate sometimes...
Gideon Breed *Pulling her close as
she drops her head on my shoulder* Babe, I never forget. Ever. The order is my
family, my cause, my calling, but you are my life. I sorry that the business
end of our world has kept me occupied, but I don't want you to ever feel, even
for a second, that you are not the center of my being. *Taking her hand, I lead
us back towards the house* Come on mate I need to remind you just exactly what
you mean to me.
