{Breed War Games 2015} Part 3

a wire and hit the next dummy before stabbing it through the neck. He was making good progress he thought when he heard the whoosh of air and ducked out of the way as a dummy swung an inch from his body. * Mother fucking fuck! * He stabbed that one twice just because and moved past the last of the wire.* Really guys? Goddammit. * The Jacobs ladder was before him. A shit ton of mud waiting for him if he fell off the cursed thing. With a shake of his head he started his climb, wobbling and cussing. Teetering to the left, he righted himself and froze for a moment. Once steady he continued to the top and stopped. * A zip line? Hells bells you guys went all out. * Looking around, making sure nothing as going to swing out and chop his head off, Jax grabbed the handles for the zip line and flew down to the platform below. Before him now was a pool with various stones to use to cross it. Squatting he wiped the sweat from his face and scrutinized the situation. If he fell in, he'd have to start over, he'd be pissed and probably fuck up and fall into the mud. But, if he made it, he could send his teammate on. Standing, he took the first step, felt the stone shift and went for the next. Twice he had to windmill his arms to keep from falling in. Every step he was cursing a blue streak as he slipped and wobbled, hopped and jumped from stone to stone. When he reached the other side he turned back to the pool and flipped it off. Like the pool or the course gave a shit but, it made him feel better. Now to get Rafe going on the next challenge. *
  • Rafe Malebranche *I took a deep breath, as I heard Jax race towards me. Sitting down at the table, my blindfold firmly in place, I put my hands on the table, feeling each piece. I knew I had to move fast, and immediately began organizing everything before me into 3 separate piles. Damn, I hated working with such little pieces. Picking the gun pile right in front of me I began putting it together. Damn, there were a hell of a lot of pieces.
I growled as I put what I thought was the final piece in and ran my hands over the gun. I raised it up, pretending to take aim and swore softly, realizing that I hadn't put it together right. I put it back down on the table, taking the entire thing apart, and tried again, only to hear a piece fall on the floor. I swore loudly and reached down, feeling around for it. Finding it, I put the gun back together and raised it again, to take aim. There. Perfect.
Loading the gun with the needed paintballs, I stood and turned to where I knew Jax stood* Let's get this going. Where's the target? *Listening to his directions, I pointed the gun where he told me. I was ready for this, I knew we'd take this without problems.*

Jax Breed Alright Rafe. 10 degrees up and 5 to the right and that's your target. * Jax looked over Rafe's shoulder and when he was sure he was aimed at the right box he gave him the signal to fire. Smirking, he thought a little loud music shouldn't bother Rafe at all. He clapped Rafe on the back when he made his shot.* I know you like music so, enjoy bro.

Rafe Malebranche *I did my best not to jump at the loud music and went to work on the second gun. I growled, as the pieces became smaller, more intricate and growled under my breath* I'm gonna shoot whoever chose these guns in the ass. *Fortunately, I didn't drop anything this time and managed to get the gun together in just the first try. I loaded it fast, and turned my blindfolded head to Jax,* Let's do this.

Jax Breed Rafe. 15 degrees to the left, 10 up. *Jax narrowed his eyes making sure where Rafe's next shot would land. He couldn't hide the humor in his voice when he gave him the go ahead to fire.* Wet tee shirt contest, here we come.

Jax Breed *Jax laughed as they were both drenched with water and he would make sure Rafe hit the box marked wind this time. He marveled as Rafe put the firearm together this time and clapped him on the back. When Rafe aimed the gun, Jax directed his aim looking over his shoulder the whole time. * At your 9 o'clock, 20 degrees down. We should have enough wind to dry us out. *He gave his friend the signal and Rafe fired.*

Rafe Malebranche *I grinned as I took aim and shot, the wind hitting us and drying us off quickly. I tore the blindfold off and ginned at Jax* Damn.... that was interesting. Thanks for all your help Bro. *I took a deep breath* Julian better be ready for whatever's next cuz it sure as hell won't be a walk in the park.

  • Micah Breed *Hearing the last shot of the weapons challenge being fired, his eyes began to search the horizon for the sight of his teammate Rafe. Smirking when Rafe ran up to meet him, he quickly turned to Jax and nodded to let him know it was time to move to the two separate entries for the next challenge. Scrolling through his tablet, he efficiently located the IP address for the computer system running the security locks on the two doors and started typing an override command that would allow them to access the building. Synching his tablet to Jax's, he pressed the button on his comm* Ready, access in 3....2....1.... *Pressing the button to give the command, he smiled in satisfaction as he heard the facility unlock itself from within, confirming that he and Jax had the precision timing required to open the doors* Well done, Jax, we're past the first obstacle *Turning to Rafe, he nodded* Ok Boy-O go get that alarm down so we can get in and kick some ass.

Rafe Malebranche *I grinned at Micah and tore open the alarm's case. I was damned glad Gideon had trained me on how to take care of things like this. Finding the right wires, I took one end of the yellow and red wires out, twisting them together to keep them out of the way. The timer that was in the corner kept counting down, and the ticking was getting on my nerves. Even with all of my experience in the field, this was starting to get to me. Finding the blue wire I pulled it out, only to see that the counter kept counting, and that the system was still live.* F*CK!!! *I tried again, only to fail a second time. I growled and finally punched my fist through all of the casing. The counter stopped immediately and somehow I knew the alarm system was down. I turned to Micah and grinned* You're good to go Bro!!!! Let's show them what we're made of!

Micah Breed *Taking off into the facility, he came to a long and narrow hallway where a series of lights were sweeping back and forth as if on patrol for anything and everything out of the ordinary. Thinking to himself that they must be motion detectors, he pressed himself against the wall and narrowly side-stepped one of the wide white ovals as it slid across the floor in front of him* Damn, that was close *Taking a long stride across the space, he dodges another moving oval and finally makes his way to the end of the hallway and up the stairs* Jesus Age Christ, are you kidding me?! *Looking down the hallway at the top of the stairs, he saw room after room that he was sure to have to look through. Starting with the right side, he went in a systematic order of back and forth till he reached about half way down the hall of empty rooms to find one that had a box bolted to the floor and a sign that read "Get Ready to Scramble" on it* What the hell? *Moving cautiously to the box, he lifted the lid and stared, dumbfounded at the pile of eggs that were tucked inside* Eggs? Fucking EGGS?? *Turning his head as the sound of metal clanging shut behind him told him that his plans of escaping back the way he came would now have to be rethought* Damn it, really?! *He looked back down at the box and saw a second note that read "All must survive"* Fucking eggs?! *Giving a slight growl, he hoisted the eggs out of the box and did his best to tuck each one into a safe place within his fatigue pockets and empty holsters* I feel like an early Colonel Sanders *Slowly surveying the room, he turned to see that the door he had come through was now completely bared off and that the only other access point to the room was the window leading to the roof* This couldn't get any better now, could it... *Moving as carefully as possible, he took a step towards the window and froze dead still when the toe of his boot almost crossed a thin beam of red light indicating that there were now lasers spanning the room he was currently standing in. He took a deep breath* I suppose I deserved that. *Setting his sights on the wall and the floor around him, he "danced" his way over, under and around the little red dots till, after what seemed like forever, he finally made his way out the window and onto the roof* Son of a Bitch! *Peering over the edge, he quickly realized that if he jumped to the ground from the height he was at, all the eggs would likely shatter instantly in his pockets so he lowered his ass to the roof and slid himself towards the corner of the house where he knew there'd have to be a rain gutter with a spout of some kind. Feeling below the eaves with his hand, he gave a confident smirk as his fingers felt the edge of the long, metal tubing that was meant to lead the water away from the roof and back to the ground. Sliding his legs over the edge of the roof, he gently lowered himself onto the spout and slid down to safety with all ten eggs still in one piece* There, that wasn't so bad *Taking off at a full sprint, he and Rafe hurried to meet up with Nathan who was surely waiting less than patiently at the start of the next challenge*

  • Nathan Bishop -Moving up to the entrance to the warehouse, I motion for Jax to go to the right while I stay to the left. I look toward Micah as he comes up behind me- Keep those eggs safe, got it? -he nods and we all head inside the dark space, keeping low to the ground as with any mission. Immediately, smoke bombs begin to detonate. I growl out a warning to Micah as we proceed with caution. Micah's curse has me turning quickly to find him being splattered with paint. He looks a bit comical, but due to the seriousness of this situation, I send him a warning look. He shrugs and I turn back to the front, proceeding down a hallway. More mine fields of paint go off in tandem as I sidestep all but one. No way in hell is Mira going to win this.. -

Micah Breed *Giving a shake of his head to clear the dust and paint chips of the last mine explosion set off by Nathan's footsteps, he carefully checked all his pockets and holsters and gave his captain a thumbs up sign to let him know the eggs were still ok. Nodding at the return hand signal, he and Rafe split off from Nathan and Jax and headed into a large room on the other side of the minefield* What the hell is that thing? *Both warriors stood still a moment as a small panel slid open to reveal a screen that rested atop a large hole-ridden metal box. Cutting a glance to Rafe, the both growled out curses as the small screen started a count down that looked to be ten minutes at most* Son of a bitch! That can't be what I think it is *Rafe slid to his knees in front of the box and started pulling at the panels till he came across a keypad* "Shit!" *Moving to join him, he looked at the numbers and swore again as he pulled out his comm* Nathan, we got a problem. We need you to find us some sort of shut-off code. Those assholes gave us a mother fuckin bomb to deal with.

Nathan Bishop -I stop in my tracks, along with Jax, as we both hear Micah's words- Fuck! Move it, Jax. Let's find that code. It's got to be hear somewhere -speaking into the comm - "On it, Micah". We enter a room at the end of the hall filled with balloons, nailed to the ceiling- What the hell? Who came up with this shit? -I look back at Jax and he shakes his head- Keep alert -I pull out a blade and pop one of the balloons, growling as I get bombarded with what feels and smells like glue. I hear Jax chuckle and look over my shoulder to glare at him as he punctures a balloon of his own, being splattered with another gooey substance. The more balloons we pop, the messier we become. Our visual field becomes unclear as we continue on. The last balloon is popped and a metal piece falls out. I grab it up off the floor and turn it over. I see the code and immediately hit my comm- Micah, code # is 07734. I repeat, 07734. -he acknowledges in the affirmative. -Moving out of the room, we enter another hallway. Bombs of ink begin going off as my foot hits a wire. I barely have time to think, but I put on some Breed speed, flipping over the wire and coming to a rolling stop as I miss the most of the paint that is dropped down on my head. I look down at my hands which are glowing in the dark now and I shake my head, growling low. Jax trips another wire and more paint falls from above. We move down the hall, slipping and sliding in all the muck, coming to a locked door. I radio into Micah our location.-

Micah Breed *Nodding as he listened to his captain relay the code over the comm, he met Rafe's confused look with an arced brow as the comm soon began to explode with a variety of swearing and damning of all shapes and sizes* Well. Sounds like they're having a blast *he quickly knelt to the ground beside his teammate* Now lets get this code in there before we end up with one of our own *Pressing the buttons on the keypad, he and Rafe both held their breath for a moment as the last number of the code was pressed and the countdown came to a halt as the panels slid closed again and a clicking noise could be heard from down the hall* Hey Nate... I think we just unlocked your door, Man. Take a look.

Nathan Bishop -I hear the click of the lock and slowly open the door, not knowing what the hell to expect this time. As the door opens up, I do a double take at the unexpected sight of an extremely large teddy bear in the middle of the room. Walking slowly toward it, I keep an eye on out for any more bombs. As I get closer to the bear, I see that it is locked in place. I reach out for it and a recording pipes out - "Take me to Niko". Letting out a breath, I look around the room and spot a pool of... more goo. I see a key in the bottom of it. Removing my boots, I dive into the pool and realize it's jello. Retrieving the key, I pull myself back out of the pool. I walk back to the bear, sloshing as I go, the jello and other goo sliding from my body. I unlock the key and grab the bear. Stuffing my feet back into my boots, I leave the warehouse-

  • Aric Chase Holy hell. *He watches as his team joins him. They hadn't been given much specifics of their challenges but he could see the damage done to his team. Jax and Nathan were covered in an assortment of paint, sand, glue, and both had a greenish glow to them. Nathan had a chain wrapped around his fist attached to a 4 foot teddy bear that he was dragging along behind him like a recalcitrant child. Jax was also sporting a number of fresh scratches. Rafe was soaked through with hair that looked like he had been running his fingers through it, a lot. Micah had paint chips and dust in his hair and big paint splatters everywhere. But it was the smell eminating from Micah that had him worried.*Dude you smell funky, are you ok?*Micah checks his pockets and swears a blue streak about rotten eggs.*Dude, the fuckin eggs are rotten?* well, how many are broken?*At his confirmation of only losing 1 egg they turn together to head for the paintball arena.*
