Patrol: Nathan and Aric

Nathan Bishop  -Driving down the interstate at top speed with Aric riding shotgun. With my team being out of state on different missions, the kid and I get stuck patrolling the downtown area of D.C.. Aric reaches down and cranks up the stereo. His taste in music is questionable and I give him a look. He flashes a huge ass smile and I roll my eyes. I figure this is going to be one long night, to say the least.-

Aric Chase *chuckling at the glare from his illustrious leader he checks his supplies again. Packing some extra clips in his pockets he reaches for Nathans weapons.*want me to check yours?

Nathan Bishop -With a low growl, Aric backs away from my weapons- I prefer to oversee those myself. -Exiting off the interstate, the downtown area is packed . Sitting in traffic is pissing me off, so I cut down an alley and find a parking spot.- Looks like we are walking farther than usual. -We get out of the SUV, opening up the back, I pull out the rest of my weapons as Aric does the same.- Let's roll, kid.

Aric Chase *mumbling under his breath* Touchy bastard*He grabs his stuff and follows Nathans lead down a few more alleys. Sloshing through the snow and trying not to slip on the hidden ice as their breath leaves foggy rings around their heads.*Hey Nathan, check it out, I can blow fog rings!

Nathan Bishop -Walking along, my senses flared out but I'm getting nothing on my Breed radar. Aric's comment registers and I stop, turn toward him..- Seriously? -I shake my head, just staring at him- How old are you again? -without waiting for a reply, I start walking again. We turn a corner and finally reach a sidewalk, crowded with humans and a few Breed up ahead. As always, the humans move out of my way. They are smarter than they look.-

Aric Chase *chuckling, he follows as he zips up his jacket*Dude, you need to lighten up once in a while...*turning the corner behind Nathan he puts on his game face and gets into warrior mode. When we are dealing with rogues we have to be ready for anything. As the people get out of our way we make our way through the streets, keeping our eyes moving, looking for any problems.*

Nathan Bishop -I hear his comment and grunt. I start to reply but don't get a chance. As we come upon a bar, we hear a crash and a human male comes flying out of it, landing on the street in front. Aric and I come to full attention, reaching for weapons. Looking into the bar, we see a Breed male. No shock there, there's not many humans who can throw someone through a window like that. Aric and I jump through the window, heading for the male.-

Aric Chase *clearing the window, he lands in a crouch, ready for anything. The Breed snarls, spittle flying from elongated fangs. He pins us with his amber gaze and I know this is going to get ugly. We can't take him in here, too many humans around.*Nate, alley.

Nathan Bishop -Landing on the other side of the Rogue Breed, I give a nod to Aric. Keeping my eyes on the male, I inch closer to him while palming my blade. We have to get him out and away from the humans, who at the moment, are fleeing the bar. Some are trapped at the back, too close to the Rogue for my liking. Talking to the male is probably not going to work, but I have to try. He appears to be a newly turned male, so there might just be some brain power left in there- Listen to me. We are going to take you out of here. Do you understand? We can't stay here. We aren't going to let you hurt any more humans. -he snarls again and takes a swipe at me.- ARIC! NOW! -I grab his arm and Aric grabs his other, pulling them behind his back.-

Aric Chase *Grabbing control of the flailing arm he twists it behind the Breeds back. The dude throws his head back, connecting with the side of Nathans head. Nathan lets out a snarl and lets his fist fly.*Wrong Breed to hit man, that boy is about to kick your rogue ass.*Nathans punch lands in the rogues solar plexes and he falls forward, twisting his shoulders at an impossible angle.* Nodding to Nathan they begin to drag him toward the door.

Nathan Bishop -Controlling my anger as we lead the male to the door. He struggles against our hold, kicking out with his leg, connecting with Aric's knee. Aric goes down to one knee with a growl of his own. I grab the males' head and slam it into my own knee. His nose explodes, blood and tissue flying. He is subdued momentarily and we are able to get him out of the bar, pushing him toward the alley.-

Aric Chase *limping into the alley, he shoves the rogue to the ground.*stand up so I can kick your ass you stupid fucker.*Placing a well aimed kick to his ribs he rolls the rogue onto his back.* Nathan, you want to get a few in on this sack of shit?

Nathan Bishop -Walking up to the Rogue who is rolling around on the ground, trying to get up. I look down at him with a small degree of sadness. This male is Breed, one of us. His poor choice landed him here, with no way out. It is our duty to dispatch him so that he can't hurt anyone else. What a shame. I look at Aric and shake my head- No, kid. Just put him out of our misery. Do your job and dispatch him quickly so that we can get on with patrol. -I watch as Aric pulls his titanium blade out. The male attempts another escape..-

Aric Chase *quickly jumping as he rolls toward him, he lands beside him and slides his blade between his ribs. Watching his body disintegrate to ash as the titanium rips through the rogues system he looks up at Nathan.*There was no hope for him? You understand that right? The proof is right here.*he kicks the pile of ash.*

Nathan Bishop -I nod at Aric- True. There was no hope. That is unfortunate. I can't help but wish there was a cure for the disease. -Sighing and giving a shrug, I turn and start walking away. Aric catches up quickly- Let's hope the rest of the night is a little more quiet.

Aric Chase Hey man, I need to wash up, give me a minute.*heading back inside the bar he cleans his blade and washes up. Joining Nathan outside, they head down the street, hoping the rest of their patrol will be uneventful.
